11/11/2025: Bakery with pastries for lunch, everything pretty good.

08/11/2025: I forgot to review this bakery in Noto a few days ago, where I was passing through. From the outside, it looked nice and clean, but since I'd already had lunch, I only ordered a piece of scaccia with cherry tomatoes and provola cheese to take home. Everything was very inviting, especially the bread, because I know they use premium flour and Timilia. It might be a little pricey for a bakery, but it's worth it, because the smell of the scaccia was so good I couldn't resist and ate it on the bus. I can assure you, it was one of the best meals I've ever had; the dough was thin and soft, but not raw, and the filling was flavorful and well-blended. My compliments, truly.

23/02/2026: Amazing staff, the sandwiches were rich in taste and the beverages super refreshing. Very good pricing! And the Atmosphere is perfect, being right in the center of the town.

29/01/2026: The love and enthusiasm with which Massimo prepares his sandwiches is surprising. It's reductive to call them just sandwiches, given the explosion of flavors that unfold. Highly recommended.

29/12/2025: Recommended by a local, we came here a few times for drinks. Perhaps the best cocktails we had in 3 months in Sicily, and highly pleasant atmosphere--more casual and friendly than we expected on first sight.

27/12/2025: Enchanting location, welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. I didn't try the food but we only drank. Special, original cocktails starting from the menu which I found fantastic. Very kind and attentive service.

17/10/2025: Excellent food with a friendly and pleasant owner. We tried the Cod Siracusa and the pasta with sea urchins and were very pleased. Very good wine list. Thoroughly enjoyable experience!

13/11/2025: We have followed the recommandation of the guide book once again and it was very nice. We had these delicious typical flat sandwiches. Staff is very friendly. A very good place to go for lunch!

28/10/2025: A lovely spot in Syracuse, in a very friendly local setting. Warm welcome and excellent food. Convenient for families with children. We loved it!

08/10/2025: I stopped by because it was near my accommodation, and it was a busy place with a constant stream of locals. A brioche (delicious!), a croissant filled with apricot jam(?), a croissant filled with light green chocolate (I didn't know what it was, but I just picked it up because it was so sweet, I ended up digging it all up), and a cappuccino for €6.50. I was very satisfied.

20/10/2025: Everything was delicious! The mushroom arancini were sublime, the mortadella and pistachio sandwich was tasty, and the pizza was delicious. The Caltanissetta beer was also good! Friendly staff.

17/12/2025: We had a wonderful time at Joy Beach Lido from the start of the season in mid-May. The food, the atmosphere, the fantastic service, and the friendly staff were all amazing. We'd love to come back on May 16, 2026, and walk over from Calabernardo along the beach. Nina and Stephan

11/03/2026: This was recommended by our hotel concierge as one of her favorite places in the area, and now it has become ours! We visited our first night in town and made it back again for our last. The owner is very friendly and makes it a personal experience. The food was delicious and beautifully plated. Great selection of local wines. We hope to return!

08/03/2026: I'd been wanting to try it for a while. I'd heard good things about it, but I have to say I didn't find anything particularly memorable. The menu seems stuck in '90s weddings: shrimp cocktail, octopus salad, swordfish caponata, seafood risotto, smoked salmon... dishes that arrive exactly as you'd expect. The food isn't bad at all, on the contrary. But it lacks that spark, that step towards 2026: something original that makes you choose that dish and makes you want to return because you can't find it anywhere else. It's probably a corporate choice: focusing on reassuring cuisine that guarantees a loyal customer base, accustomed to these flavors, the same ones you can easily find at your local osteria. I'd rather not go into the details of a small incident involving the bill: nothing particularly significant, but I simply hope it will be handled with greater care in the future.

16/02/2026: We had an all-fish lunch. The starters, first courses, and desserts were excellent. The grill was delicious. We'll definitely be back to try other menus. Compliments to the staff.

25/09/2025: Very cute bar for cocktails and a fantastic cheese platter. I'm in cheese heaven. It's basically a toast to three cheeses. Or maybe a toast to three Aperols.

15/03/2026: Fishmonger's restaurant: we stopped here for the first time on instinct. The owners were delightful, there was a tank with all kinds of shellfish (including American clams). The place was clean, the staff friendly, and everything from the appetizer to the first and second courses was truly delicious, leaving a scent of the sea. For anyone passing through, I recommend stopping by. We'll be back because we had a truly wonderful lunch.

07/12/2025: We had lunch at the Cozza d’Oro on our visit to Sicily. This is our second trip and again this seafood restaurant gem!! The location atmosphere and food was a 10!! Maurizio Bruno and chef and staple of the Cozza d’Oro Cettina were wonderful! We had a variety of fresh seafood also fried and some delicious pasta and seafood dishes ! Highly recommend La Cozza d’Oro of Augusta Sicily .
