05/10/2025: The pizza and first course had high-sounding names but ultimately mediocre ingredients, the flavorful pasta served on a huge plate, and the pizza was nothing special. The place's open doors let in a draft, so we had to leave urgently. A lot of smoke and no fire.

30/09/2025: Straight in at opening time to nice, really efficient service. Super grilled tuna and polpo with mash. A little lingo mix-up with starters resulted in puddings on the house. Sunset over the distant Zingara mountains across the bay- perfect small town end to our last Sicily evening.
29/09/2025: I went there for the first time on a recommendation and overall we had a good time. The food was good, not everything was served in the right time. The place is airy and bright on the veranda. The menu is decent and excellent value for money. I will be back.

04/10/2025: Aside from the owner, Ciccio, who is truly the best, you can sit down and enjoy a wide selection of beers (including craft and international ones) and drinks that much more "renowned and tischi tosco" establishments don't have. If that's not enough, you can eat while you drink, with sandwiches, antipasti, burgers, piadinas, and even desserts. Located right in the heart of Palermo's nightlife, it's a hit with tourists and locals alike.
11/09/2025: Fusorario is always a guarantee, both for food and drinks. Ciccio is a fantastic host. A must-see. I recommend it.

The staff seemed tired and disengaged, and although everything appears to be in place, the experience feels flat — especially considering the high prices. Overall, it’s not great value for money and leans a bit toward a tourist trap.

During our tour of Trinacria we always found kind and helpful people, when in Palermo (4 days) under our B&B we met Diego and his wife we had confirmation that, as the title of the review says, certain things are in your blood, you can't invent them... A sincere thank you for the good food, the information, the availability and the friendliness of this couple and to the entire staff of the Ristobar. 14/08/2025: Very good desserts, decent deli food; last year they made mushroom and vegetable pizzas, and other deli items that you don't see at the counter anymore. Coffee is expensive at €1.30, a problem with many bars, unfortunately.
