I had the "Nemo" sandwich, which was very good but not particularly large. The menu was varied and, most importantly, had a wide range of options for vegans, vegetarians, and celiacs.

07/02/2026: I called ahead to ask if swordfish was available, and it turned out to be a truly exceptional discovery. The restaurant is located on a quiet street in the center, just outside the ZTL (limited traffic zone): a private and pleasant corner, with an elegant, welcoming atmosphere, meticulously maintained, where you immediately feel at ease. The cuisine was a constant confirmation: the swordfish caponata is simply superb, balanced and refined; the strozzapreti with swordfish is intense and perfectly balanced; the mixed cooked pasta is wow, of great quality and cooked with great care. The wine is also excellent, well-selected and ideal to accompany the dishes. The quality-price ratio is excellent, rare to find at this level. Special mention for the service: impeccable, attentive, and never intrusive. The young woman who welcomed us and looked after us throughout the evening was always smiling, professional, and capable of making the guest feel truly special. A complete experience, one of those that will stay with you forever. Absolutely recommended. Thank you!!! 🙂

17/11/2025: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Pepe Nero is truly a gem in Termini Imerese! Every time my husband and I are in town, it’s one of the first places we make sure to visit. Ornella is always so warm and welcoming, which makes the experience feel extra special. The food is consistently delicious, and the service goes above and beyond, whether it’s just the two of us or when we bring along a group. They always find a way to make everyone feel comfortable and well taken care of. Highly recommended!

15/03/2026: It was raining heavily, and we stumbled upon this restaurant by chance. A wonderful discovery! Exceptional meal. We chose the Locanda appetizer platter, followed by homemade ravioli, squid ink risotto, and pork. Everything was excellent. The servers were friendly and very helpful. Kudos to the chefs! The dishes were worthy of a fine dining establishment.

The food was both tasteful and lovely for your eyes with a modern twist. We had a really great evening so please make sure to visit this place when you are in Cefalu

16/02/2026: On Valentine's Day, we went to Giovanni's for lunch: we ordered mixed antipasti a la carte and a first course each. The appetizers were mediocre, nothing exceptional; we were disappointed. Although the fried food was golden and crispy, the calamari was rubbery. The eggplant caponata was good, which I hadn't expected in a seafood appetizer. Marinated and smoked anchovies from store-bought bags... but let's move on to the first courses: pasta with clams was completely dry, seemingly oily. The pasta with sea urchins was slightly better. We also ordered risottos: good flavor, but not at all creamy. The sauce was loose. Both the pasta and the rice were cooked perfectly. Dessert: excellent lemon sorbet, I don't know if it was homemade. Tart with cream: delicious cream, raw pastry, still moist on the inside, which, obviously, wasn't crunchy in the mouth but too creamy. The staff was very kind and helpful, and the atmosphere was nice and clean.

I often order cakes for special occasions, and they've never disappointed: balanced creams, meticulous textures, and always clean flavors, without overly sweetness. The classic setteveli and pistachio ones are especially excellent, beautifully layered and light despite the richness of the ingredients, as are the creamy and well-balanced cheesecakes. The mini pastries also maintain the same high level of quality, with a good variety and attention to detail. The quality of the ingredients and meticulous craftsmanship are evident, especially in the custom-made cakes, which are always aesthetically pleasing. A reliable place for a large dessert or a tray-service, with consistent quality. Prices are in keeping with the quality of the pastry shop. One of the city's most reliable choices for cakes and small pastries.

The crescents with melon jelly are excellent, but also the Carnival chiacchiere filled with various creams and much much more. Today, San Giuseppe, a traditional Palermo tradition wants you to eat the Sfince di San Giuseppe. Very good. Excellent and fast service, pastry shop full of people. Votes 10

08/03/2026: Nice location, friendly staff, generous portions. We ordered two different meat menus and two different fish menus, and then we tried everyone's dishes. The four of us at the table had a very positive opinion; the dishes were truly tasty and generous.

The food is also simple and unpretentious: decent and enjoyable pizzas and pasta, nothing exceptional, but well-prepared. However, the salads were a bit of a letdown. Well, in this wonderful place, dreams come true for smokers and cigar lovers. For enthusiasts and connoisseurs, but above all. 09/03/2026: A very disappointing experience. We booked weeks in advance. No one greeted us when we arrived, and when we sat down, the table was already stained. The place gave off a generally unkempt impression: water on the floor and chairs full of sand. The service was very slow: we waited almost two hours just for an appetizer, which was also wrong and didn't even match what was on the menu. Even one of the first courses was served differently than expected: a pasta dish that didn't taste like fish. The waiter was quite rude; they even got the bottle of wine we ordered wrong several times. Furthermore, there was no indication that it was Women's Day, despite the occasion. Another unprofessional detail was seeing a waiter with very long and dirty nails. Overall, it was a very negative experience. Frankly, it gave the impression that the place wasn't yet ready to open or handle customers.
