14/08/2025: Very good desserts, decent deli food; last year they made mushroom and vegetable pizzas, and other deli items that you don't see at the counter anymore. Coffee is expensive at €1.30, a problem with many bars, unfortunately.

31/10/2025: Outdoor seating under tent perfect because it rained but I was still outside. Fettucini alla Norma was great. Marinara yummy and pasta and eggplant just right. White wine was dry and perfectly chilled. Really a terrific afternoon.

12/10/2025: Strategically located to entice tourists passing through to visit the nearby Royal Palace: right next to it are the Bastions, which protected the city of Palermo. The entrance to the indoor restaurant leads into a small room, which is connected by a staircase to a larger room. Outside, parallel to the road, is a large gazebo covered with clear plastic. We sat inside in the small room. The waiter wasn't prompt in taking our orders, and it took a while to bring water. The first courses finally arrived: marinara risotto with too much pepper, and not enough empty mussels; the fried squid with tough, not to mention 🍰: an indefinable flavor. In short, we won't be returning. Mm

27/10/2025: The welcoming staff seated us, and after a few minutes they offered us a Spritz accompanied by crispy fries. We chose from the menu: bigoli with sardines and a mixed fried fish. Both dishes were very well cooked, the fried fish was pale yet well done, and both courses were generous. The price was fair. At the end of the meal, after drinking coffee, the staff offered us limoncello and lemon sorbet to finish. My wife and I highly recommend this place.

19/10/2025: There was a free aperitif beforehand. The pizza was delicious and arrived quickly. Everything was good!

25/11/2025: What can I say...the sweet or savory dishes are always excellent and tasty, the staff always courteous and attentive. The only thing I miss...a few outdoor tables to enjoy it all...

27/09/2025: One of few very cute, traditional and artisanal bakeries we’ve found off the beaten track in Palermo. It offers a relaxed and very cozy ambiance. All goods are hand-made, very yum and traditionally Sicilian/Italian! The owner both bakes the goods and also runs the café in a very friendly and familiar manner. Hat’s off! Both savoury and sweet baked goods were amazingly good. And their coffee probably one of the best Italian espresso in town from a proper coffee machine (NOT from pods). A Must-try for everyone with a sweet tooth: their filled cornetti! 🥐 Complimenti e auguri! 👏🏼🙌🏼🤩

The location is perfect and they serve excellent pizza, great lasagne, grilled squid was lovely and a nice caprese salad with olive oil and balsamico on the side. The staff is smiling and kind and we felt comfortable to eat here 2 with our children able to run around a bit. Thank you!

08/10/2025: The place is small and cramped, with cramped, uncomfortable spaces. It certainly doesn't help you enjoy the evening, especially when you're forced to wait a long time: our pizza arrived after an inordinate wait, despite the limited number of customers in attendance. When it finally arrived, the disappointment was even greater: the dough was raw in the center, hard to chew, and indigestible. Added to all this, the prices are decidedly too high for the quality offered. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend this experience, neither for the food nor the atmosphere. Considering the ridiculous way you've blocked replies to this review, continue here!! I thought it was humiliating for you to add that the takeaway pizza box was for our beloved dog, who unfortunately also refused to eat it. Furthermore, the reservation was for 8 people, there were no changes. Regarding the pizza, it was actually not raw, it was anemic, it was dripping with water from the mozzarella, considering that pizzas with whole mozzarella in the center should be drained in the morning. I would like to add that our restaurant in Rimini is among the most renowned, with average prices, and since the product is very high quality, it would never cross our mind to offer a fork. That said, it would be enough to be more humble and accept criticism, especially constructive criticism!
