25/04/2025: Attractive place but absolutely negative as it is filled to capacity, the external perspective deserves more attention without using up every cm² to put tables and chairs. The girls are objectively kind also because they work hard with all those people in very small spaces. Very poor quality/price ratio!! If you decide to have an aperitif dinner everyone must have the opportunity to eat the same dish otherwise everyone would have to pay for what they consume. If they then think of stuffing people with classic chips, packaged taralli and salted peanuts just to make them thirsty, then they will have a short life. The cocktails are apparently well made but I believe that not all the bottles respect the quality/price standard. Overall it failed, very high prices, food not in line with what was paid, place too crowded.

22/04/2025: Die Küche hat ihre Highlights (Lamm) und ihre Lowlights (kalter Fisch serviert). Das Service ist bemüht, kommt aber nicht wirklich über einen mittleren Standard hinaus. Was uns nicht gefallen hat war die Atmosphäre. Man sitzt in einem in die Jahre gekommenen Wintergarten und das Lokal wirkt kalt. Hier scheinen auch nur Touristen zu speisen und keine Einheimischen, was wir in Italien nie als gutes Zeichen erlebt haben.

14/04/2025: Cenamos aquí por mi cumpleaños y tuvimos una noche muy encantadora. Las mesas de la pequeña terraza de la azotea están en un lugar muy romántico, con la cumbre del Monte Etna justo visible sobre los antiguos tejados. Fuimos muy bien atendidos por el personal y las opciones de comida y vino fueron algunos de los mejores que probamos en Taormina.

04/05/2025: Die Lage der Bar ist sehr schön. Wir, 57 und 59 Jahre, haben hier den teuersten, 8€ pro Tasse und schlechtesten Espresso in unserem Leben getrunken. Außerdem war der Kellner sehr unfreundlich. Keine Empfehlung.

03/05/2025: Llegué al bar D&G a tomar algo, estaba ocupado pero nuestro servidor Rosario nos informó que una mesa se iría pronto y si esperábamos nos prepararía una mesa. Gran ubicación en la plaza al lado de la iglesia, las bebidas y el servicio eran impecables y cuando se enteró de que nos habíamos comprometido recientemente se ofreció a tomar algunas fotos de nosotros dentro de la tienda y también nos dio un cannoli cada uno en la casa. No podía recomendar más y Rosario era un verdadero caballero. Me alegro de haber pasado.

02/10/2024: Abbiamo visitato l’isola di Salina e per la sosta pranzo ci veniva consigliato nella frazione di Lingua un altro ristorante. Vista la folla ci siamo fermati in questo ristorante e devo dire che abbiamo fatto bene. Abbiamo mangiato un ottimo piatto di spaghetti con le vongole e una cassatina veramente molto buona accompagnati da un ottimo vino bianco. La ragazza che ci ha servito è stata molto gentile anche quando nell’attesa di ripartire è venuto a piovere e lei molto gentilmente ci offerto un riparo. Lo consiglio.

09/03/2025: Bar carissimo, quando vai a pagare sembra di essere entrati in una gioielleria. Il personale é vestito bene, in divisa, quasi a camuffare l’aria scocciata con cui ti accolgono. Si dovrebbe capire che si é a Sant’Alessio e non a Taormina e soprattutto che non tutti i clienti siano degli sceicchi arabi!!!!

15/11/2024: Paramos para un pequeño almuerzo. El servicio fue muy bueno. Los espaguetis eran buenos, pero habría preferido que los espaguetis fueran cocinados al dente. Era demasiado tierno para mí. Bonitos asientos al aire libre.

17/04/2025: I think it's worth going earlier in the day when it's still light - because of the view. The restaurant is actually known for having a great view from there, and for that reason it is rather more expensive. The food was good, but honestly not as wow as I expected. I liked the dessert the best! The service was great – very friendly and attentive.

18/05/2025: I ordered seafood soup. Went with my family. Everyone was very satisfied. But I think the seafood soup was the best. It was loaded with a variety of different seafood, shrimp, different fish, octopus, mussels, clams. The soup itself was well executed. Great service. They were very welcoming. At the end there were two guys who started playing some live music. That was cool. It seemed to be family owned and they were quite nice to us.

17/05/2025: Este es justo el tipo de lugar familiar siciliano que esperas encontrar como turista de los Estados Unidos. Fue recomendado por servidores de nuestro Excelsior Hotel. Viajando con otra pareja, comimos y bebimos bien con nuestras recomendaciones de vino tinto y blanco de Gabrielle. El cálido ambiente familiar, deliciosas comidas, a un precio justo, y el personal atento era justo lo que esperábamos encontrar y hacer nuestras vacaciones aún más memorable. No dude en probarlo.

27/11/2024: Very friendly staff and delicious products. From ice cream to hot croissants in the morning, it is the best place to have a good coffee in Francavilla and have a great breakfast!

14/05/2025: The service was unpleasant. We were looking for a place just to have a glass of wine and they seemed to be unhappy about that. Seems like we were completely ignored because of that, nobody came to take the order for a long time, long enough that we just left the place to search for a more pleasant place.
