09/06/2024: Pub with attention to the smallest detail; British atmosphere and notable assortment of local and foreign beers. The food is delicious, I highly recommend the sandwiches and the pulled beef sandwich. A place suitable for any type of occasion and the staff is qualified and kind. I recommend going there at least once (a day).

01/09/2024: The place is nice, the pizza is good Friendly staff however an hour of waiting is fine, an hour after ordering is fine and the pizza hasn't arrived... all understandable for adults... but for a six year old girl?? The single star is in fact reserved for the VERY BAD ATTENTION AND CONSIDERATION FOR THE CHILDREN... when ordering we had asked to have the pizza for the little girl first given that it was 11pm and that obviously she arrived at 10pm and after more than an hour of waiting it was affirmed and tired…. at 00.00 the pizza for the little girl still hadn't arrived... which obviously arrived with the whole order, in fact the last one!! …probably being full of summer makes you forget good manners.. Really bad …

31/08/2024: I often went to the Da Clara pizzeria, but unfortunately I noticed a worsening in many aspects. POSITIVE NOTES: Always charming external environment, delicious french fries, courteous staff and excellent cleanliness of the place and toilets NEGATIVE NOTES: the quality of the pizza has really dropped, the prices are high (for example a coffee 2 euros, a 33cl bottled Coke 5 euros). The cheesecake had the crunchy part that was soft. We asked for ice for the beer that had warmed up (50 cl on tap costs 7.5 euros) and after several requests they told us that the ice machine had broken (say it first right??). We ask for an additional 33cl beer on tap and it arrives after being asked 3 times when our friend had already practically finished the pizza. All these aspects need to be reviewed NB: To be fair, only one of our friends liked the pizza, everyone else didn't

02/08/2024: We ate well at Maurizio's in the new location which is a little difficult to find for those who are not local because it is not signposted. At the beginning we were offered a taste of couscous and some crusty bread. We had appetizers and first courses which were all tasty. I had some very good potato gnocchi with seafood. But my husband's pasta with breadcrumbs and sardines was really super... very good! Expensive wine list with little choice, informal service and not very refined equipment.

26/07/2024: Delicious food in a beautiful, historic place. The pastas (lasagna and pasta alla norma) were OK, but we were particularly impressed by the desserts. Tiramisu San Giorgio with Blandanino almond wine is an excellent dessert combination, served in a place that has been making them for over a hundred years. We were impressed :)

23/08/2024: Colazione tradizionalmente siciliana. Se non si può fare a meno della tipica colazione siciliana questo é il luogo più adatto dove soddisfare ogni ‘pititto’. Se poi si vuole gustare solo un caffè si è sempre nel posto giusto

Una volta consegnato il gelato (il cui prezzo è da considerare piuttosto caro), lo stesso si scioglieva così rapidamente da doverlo consumare in tempi da pitstop in Formula 1. 02/09/2024: As soon as we landed in Messina we found this place with very friendly and helpful guys.....good sandwich and a big salad....not to mention the pistachio granita.....we highly recommend it

30/08/2024: We left from Ganzirri to eat rustic and traditional Sicilian desserts in a vegan version. IT WAS WORTH IT. Arancini and squash with really well thought out and combined ingredients. Vegan cannoli in my opinion is spacey. It's not easy to find traditional vegan solutions in places, especially with such attention and quality. Satisfied and grateful. 👏🏽 if the table area were larger, it would enhance the excellent service.

02/09/2024: We went to the inn with friends last night Demetra, our experience was truly positive. Very nice and welcoming environment, the cuisine is taken care of down to the smallest detail by Angelo who welcomed us in an excellent way. "Infinite" appetizer, varied and delicious. Everything was impeccable!!! Really ! You enter as customers and leave as Friends! Thanks Angelo Your "friends" from Catania! Open a restaurant here too!! We are waiting for you with open arms in our city, we are missing a restaurant like yours!

25/08/2024: Local located at the foot of the medieval village of Brolo Castle. Seeing it from the outside when you enter and find yourself in a very cute courtyard with all the tables has a nice effect. The food is good, the portions are not very generous, perhaps even too small in some courses. The quality is high and you can feel it. Their specialty is meat, there are many types and they can be eaten in different ways: tartare, grilled, steaks and cut. I noticed little choice for vegetarians and vegans on the menu. If you are vegan or vegetarian this is not the most suitable place for you. The appetizer in full Sicilian style is very varied, plentiful and of good quality (highly recommended). The service needs to be reviewed a bit: slow and at times confusing. But the waiters are all super helpful and come to ask if you need anything. Excellent value for money. With €30 you can eat very well and leave satisfied

28/10/2023: We stayed in this place for two nights in a row in August and returned to the hotel full and satisfied. On the first evening we ordered two aperitifs that were on the menu while on the second evening a truly very good pineapple spritz was specially prepared for me. Both the cunzatu bread and the bruschetta and panelle passed with flying colors I advise :)

If you want to taste the best Pignolata, (a typical Messina dessert) you must necessarily come and taste what Tanino Saccà, a true master pastry chef, prepares almost every day. The Cannoli are very good, both the classic ricotta ones and the gianduia ones. The care with which the cannoli are prepared is enhanced by the use of peels still prepared by hand in the same pastry shop, renouncing the use of industrially produced peels, which, unfortunately, are now widespread.

16/08/2024: We randomly tested this beautiful restaurant, high up, with a view of the sea. Our meal was excellent and the staff were friendly, concerned about our comfort and the smooth running of the moment. I recommend, especially for lovers of grilled fish (the chef's assortment) and homemade pizza! Completely affordable prices.

11/08/2024: We visited the entire area of ​​Taormina and we really regret that we found this place only at the end of our stay. Great pastas and pizzas, we didn't have time to try any more. Great prices, very nice owners and young staff. Great view of the coast due to the elevated location of the restaurant. If we had stayed longer we would not have gone to any other restaurant.
