28/12/2025: The service was quite poor...It was something like:
+ Are you open?
- Yes, of course we are
We sit down, the waiter comes and we order. Few minutes later, he brings the drinks and says:
- "I am sorry guys but I forgot to tell you that we're closing in 30 minutes."
Then, having shots with the employees in front of the customers when they are queueing up is not very professional (secondo mie...)
Expensive as the main street in Taormina, spritz senza amore...
03/11/2025: Cozy little place! BUT 12 euros for a bottle of beer - it must be one of the most expensive in town. It was definitely our most expensive beer on our entire vacation

14/10/2025: First time in Messina (stop on our cruise) Amazing little place we stumbled upon when walking back from the little beach. Service was great they were so accomadating of 8 hungry aussies (4 adults & 4 Teenagers) . The freshly made Paninis were delicious as were their focaccias flavours.
Then the icecream, so creamy, noone disappointed with their choices - yum!
And of course the dads had Beers.

17/10/2025: We had a very pleasant evening here - this place is casual non-pretentious and relaxed. We had lasagne, salad and deserts. Salad was fresh and tasty. We loved the ice cream in a cup too. With beer and wine and a reasonable bill - what is there not to like?
16/10/2025: To each his own. But our food and experience was excellent.

31/12/2025: Everything was fine at first. The surprise came when we paid; we were charged much more than the menu price. When we asked, they said it was for using the table, which we didn't want. But the server sent us there anyway. In my opinion, it's a tourist trap. Just stay away.
08/10/2025: The worst food in Italy, ever.
We've been traveling to Bella Italia for years.
At least the landlady gave us a discount.

25/04/2025: Abbiamo cenato questa sera da Pippo Lupo di Mare, il personale è molto gentile e simpatico. La cucina molto buona e originale, non banale. Ottimi gli arancini di riso al nero di seppia e le polpette di neonata!
Il locale si trova sulla via principale in un’atmosfera vivace

11/04/2025: Amazing spot right on the promenade. We were walk ins and got a great table. Music was at a level that was spot on and enjoyable.
Antonia looked after us & made our time pass delightfully. She steered us to have a lovely local etna white wine. The seafood was excellent and the highlight was the octopus.
To seal the deal we had a fab local limoncello.
All in all the best meal and most relaxing restaurant we enjoyed in Sicily.

10/05/2025: Super Location! Cooler Sound, tolle Cocktails und nette Leute! Service sehr bemüht! Definitiv einen Besuch wert!!!!
14/04/2025: Una rápida parada de bebida después de un día ajetreado de compras.
El entorno era agradable, el tiempo era perfecto y aparte de algunos asientos mixtos (algunos confortables, otros no) era un gran lugar para parar.
Los cócteles eran agradables y grandes, ofrecían una gran variedad. La comida se veía bien, pero no estábamos comiendo y la mayoría de las mesas no eran lo que consideraríamos comida de comida adecuada, más bocadillos y mordiscos.

20/07/2025: Sehr leckeres Eis zu einem fairen Preis. Auch die zweite Reihe kann erste Wahl sein. Wir kennen inzwischen viele verschiedene Sorten durchprobiert und waren immer positiv überrascht. Lediglich die kleinen Hörnchen sind nicht so toll. Dann lieber einen kleinen Becher.
27/05/2025: Gelateria di alti livelli...torno sempre con piacere per prendere un gelato a cassetta od una torta gelata...sempre ottime!
