20/03/2025: We are at the top for pastries and granitas! A must-see for anyone passing through Sicily. I didn't give it 5 stars so as not to make him get a big head and always look for the best!
18/03/2025: Very friendly service who spoke good English. We tried Sicilian granita here. Thank you very much for that! They even had soy- and lactose-free milk. We didn't try the food, but it looked very appetizing on the display.

A first course busiata swordfish and aubergine that could have gone before the King. Excellent. Fried octopus on a bed of chicory and caramelized onion. A show.
Mrs. Lucia is a welcoming person to the max. She went out of her way to get me a pizza for my son taken from the nearby place and served at the table.
Beautiful location and excellent well prepared food.
I'll be back.

06/11/2024: Este fue un verdadero hallazgo (gracias Tripadvisor). Está escondido en una escalera de callejón muy estrecha, frente a la tienda Louis Vuitton - es tan estrecho que te lo perderías si no lo estuvieras buscando. Pero no parecen necesitar un miembro del personal que atraiga a la gente a diferencia de muchos de los otros restaurantes de la ciudad. El personal era muy amable y la comida en el restaurante de la azotea era excelente. Recomendado.
20/10/2024: Nos recomendaron este restaurante por nuestro hotel. Me alegro de haber venido. Es de gestión familiar, y por un callejón muy estrecho de la calle comercial principal. Definitivamente es un restaurante boca a boca. ¡Si lo sabes, lo sabes! Está arriba y hay algunos asientos afuera. Aunque nos sentamos dentro, ya que hacía bastante viento. El personal era encantador y explicó todas las especiales. La comida era irreal. Estábamos tan llenos, pero compartimos un pistacho tiramisú. Estoy muy contento de haberlo hecho. ¡Uno de los mejores postres que he comido! Si estás visitando Taormina, caza este lugar. Realmente no te arrepentirás.

20/03/2025: We were there between 2:30 and 3:30 in the afternoon, coincidentally because other restaurants were on their lunch break, and we were treated to truly delicious food prepared and served by extremely attentive staff. We'd go back anytime.

17/11/2024: I tried the focaccia and some rustici here on November 3, 2024. Focaccia (various types all at 12 euros per kilo) well toasted and of the right crunchiness with quality ingredients. On rustics you can vary a lot. In addition to the usual arancini, mozzarella in carrozza and pidoni, you can find other innovative fillings (chicken strips, gorgonzola and speck, turnip tops and sausage, etc.).
Note of merit also for the service. My girlfriend suffers from food allergies and they did everything to avoid contamination.
Definitely coming back.

EVERYTHING EXCELLENT, I would say that we really needed a goodbye ❤️

01/01/2025: Cozy place, the owners father and son, very kind with a passion for the work they do. The sandwiches were great. I took the sandwich with exceptional meat chops and could not miss the delicious Sicilian cannoli they produced.

It's difficult to find free parking, but the paid ones are really cheap (€1 now divisible) and are worth it.
A few tables inside and a couple outside.
06/01/2025: Ho fatto un ordine di una torta al limone immagiabile il gusto del limone ammuffito non siamo riusciti a mangiarne neanche una fetta nonostante l'abbiamo fatto presente portando indietro la torta ha negato questo non è un pasticcere che ci tiene ai clienti è solo un opportunista logicamente ha perso tre famiglie si clienti non passerò neanche davanti al bar per come è stato scortese nonostante le grosse mancanze si trattano così i clienti presuntuoso

10/10/2024: Stasera avevo proprio voglia di un panino alla piastra fatto bene e ho proposto a Letizia di andare Al Vecchio Chiosco da Roberto.
Abbiamo mangiato un Hot-dog, un Brasiliano, un Vikingo e una Piadina alla Nutella.
I panini e la piadina erano croccanti, ben piastrati e farciti con ingredienti freschi e di qualità.
Abbiamo bevuto due birre: una Ichnusa e una Birra dello Stretto rossa.
Roberto è stato, come sempre, gentilissimo e il conto è stato più che onesto.
Raccomandatissimo!

The service was insufficient, but it was pointed out to us that at 11pm "we had all arrived together", however the waiting time was far greater than any expectation. The dishes were sufficient and the prices were average.
29/10/2024: Il locale è grazioso ed è posto nei pressi del Teatro "Vittorio Emanuele". Il servizio è stato insufficiente, ma ci è stato fatto notare che alle 23 "eravamo arrivati tutti insieme", tuttavia il tempo di attesa è stato di gran lunga superiore ad ogni aspettativa. I piatti erano sufficienti ed i prezzi erano nella media.
