24/09/2024: Qualità eccellente, produzione artigianale ottima con ingredienti genuini. Gentilezza e signorilità. La cagnolona 🐾 Margherita (se ben ricordo il nome) è adorabile. Nei percorsi gastronomici in città, è una tappa da non perdere.

Excellent quality products, 0 km and for those who love vegetables it is truly ideal, there is a lot of variety but always everything that the season offers. Friendly and helpful owners. It is clear that everything is made in house and in a genuine way. I recommend it

28/05/2025: We spent an entire evening there, drinking, laughing and eating food that was so good, that it became our scale to compare other meals in Sicily to it :). The fish, the meats, the salads, the pasta, everything! The staff didn’t speak much English but our Italian was enough to communicate. But when it was too difficult to explain what a meal is, the waiter just told us to wait, went to the kitchen and came back a few minutes later with a plate of meats and other ingredients and showed us which is which, while being so nice and funny, that we wanted to try everything 😂. We did have to wait quite a bit for everything and they did forget a few things (brought them later when we asked) but they had a few big groups and were taking care of everyone so it was understandable. They also did it in such a nice and friendly way that we didn’t mind. Every group spent their entire evening there so it’s not just your typical touristy order-eat-leave in an hour. You go there to spend the evening and trust me, you won’t be disappointed. You will have a great time and eat one of the best meals in your life 👌

20/05/2025: When I arrived I thought the restaurant was a bit old-fashioned and I was suspicious, but I quickly changed my mind. The service is great and the food is delicious, the seafood is very fresh, the shellfish is delicious! It was worth getting away from the tourist restaurants.

13/05/2025: This atmosphere, friendly owner and delicious breakfast are one of the best memories from Catania. I felt the atmosphere of Italy in this place and I regret that I discovered it only on the last day. I recommend it!

13/05/2025: The pizzeria impresses with really good pizza and a beautiful view of the sea. The crust was light and crispy, the toppings fresh and flavorful – exactly what you'd expect. The staff was also very friendly and attentive; you feel welcome and well looked after. The sea view, in particular, makes the visit something special. We'd love to come back!

27/05/2025: This was the best meal we had in all of Sicily! We had the parmesan crisp with artichokes and potatoes as an appetizer, and for our meal we had black cod, sea bream with lemon, and black Angus burger. We also asked if they would make a spaghetti with olive oil and garlic dish for us to share (so simple but so delicious). If I was staying here another night, we would come back as we wanted to try the platter of fried fish and meat that we saw every table getting!

14/05/2025: Excellent experience to be repeated absolutely. I came across the Trattoria Saltimbocca recommended by friends. The first thing that struck me was the attention of the waiters and the owner (unfortunately not common in Catania); the fish was all very fresh and cooked to perfection and Mr. Giancarlo was always present in the room, attentive to each table and happy to give you directions on the menu. The last pleasant surprise was the bill, definitely lower than the average for the city. I recommend everyone to try it and I intend to return as soon as possible

18/05/2025: This is the second time I have had lunch in this family-run restaurant. Welcoming and well-kept environment, very clean bathrooms and last but not least, tasty and traditional food cooked by the expert hands of the owners! Thanks also to the waiters who are always kind and helpful... we will definitely return in the company of friends

Over time I have had the opportunity to try different dishes and I would definitely recommend the mixed antipasto della casa, the first courses based on mushrooms and the fried cod. The staff would deserve 6 stars but unfortunately I can only give 5.

21/04/2025: Highly recommended. If you pass by Licodia Eubea don't miss the opportunity to eat in this Home Restaurant. Carefully prepared and balanced dishes worthy of starred chefs with excellent quality local products. Francesco and Piero are kind, friendly and know how to welcome their guests and make them feel at home. The passion and enthusiasm they put into what they do is evident. If I return, in addition to returning to taste the food, I will also stop in their B&B.
