13/09/2025: Quality, combination, clarity, presentation. Tutto perfetto. Mother and daughter (both incredibly beautiful) are in the kitchen. They cook the way we imagine real Italian cuisine to be. This clarity of dish, quality and ingredients, and precise preparation. They can tell when the pasta is al dente; they don't have to pluck a noodle out every minute to check the doneness. We ate deliciously; I'd give it a star. Plucked skate, served lukewarm with steamed fennel, olive oil, and salt. Mussels with risotto, rice, and tender boiled potatoes. Delicious broth. Then pasta with prawns and small, sun-ripened tomatoes. For the main course, sea bass, perfectly prepared, just a touch of olive oil. This is a hidden gem here in Puglia. We drank a bottle of wine with it: Cervaro from Antinori. Also a hidden gem. My absolute favorite wine. We'll be back, for sure. With a big hug ☺️🙏

17/03/2026: La Baita di Monteparano is one of those places you discover almost by chance and then become a regular. I've been there several times, and each time I've had the same feeling: tranquility, care, and quality. The place is clean, tidy, and well-kept, but what's truly striking is the exterior. The landscape is meticulously maintained, with these splendid centuries-old ornamental olive trees pruned with ball-shaped foliage, giving the place a unique elegance, almost relaxing just looking at them. It's the classic place where you sit and feel comfortable, unhurried. Perfect for both breakfast with friends and a late-afternoon aperitif. The desserts are beautiful to look at and, above all, delicious, and overall the food is truly delicious: you can sense the attention and quality in what's served. It's located on the road connecting Monteparano to San Giorgio Ionico, making it very convenient to get to. It's one of those places worth stopping in for a while, not just passing through. It's not just a bar; it's a small, well-kept corner where you can enjoy a well-deserved break. Very, very nice. Highly recommended.

01/06/2026: We visited their stand at the craft fair and were very disappointed. I ordered a hot dog, but it was a dry, stale bun that fell apart as soon as I touched it. The meat was of poor quality, and the whole thing was soaked in an abnormal amount of ketchup. The burgers were cold and had cheddar cheese inside that tasted like plastic. An experience not to be repeated.

19/03/2026: When a traveler (tinker in 🇮🇪, zingara in 🇮🇹) was hungry at 1:30am and lost in Lecce, the sign of the 🪉 lit my way and offered me not only gracious hospitality, but a near perfect mix on a wet cold night…a pint of guiness, an Italian panino, and a chance to warm up and share a story or two. Folks, you won’t find a kinder place in Lecce. Bring a small gift and tell them Tomás sent you. You’ll thank me, as I thank them 💚

14/09/2025: We dined at Corti Bianche during our stay in Trani, and since it was a Saturday evening, we preferred to make a reservation. Upon our arrival, we were greeted by a wonderful garden, meticulously cared for down to the smallest detail, which immediately conveyed a pleasant sense of elegance and serenity. The hosts proved to be truly delightful. What I appreciated most was their honesty: the menu features a scrocchiarella, a generous portion that easily fills two people. Although we intended to order a first course as well, the owner very candidly advised us to wait and decide later. A gesture that, especially in a tourist destination, is by no means a given. At the table, I commented, "Too honest for a holiday destination, where the opposite often happens." And in that moment, I felt truly protected, as a guest and not simply as a customer. We followed their advice, and they were right: one scrocchiarella was more than enough. We also noticed the same genuine and caring attitude towards the other tables: a rare attention, demonstrating how truly family-run this place is and how the owners have chosen to put customer satisfaction first. My sincerest compliments go to them: authentic hosts who, despite the times and the touristy environment, have chosen to play their cards on the table with transparency and heart. Corte Bianchi is more than just a restaurant: it's an oasis of authenticity, where honesty becomes an integral part of the menu and where, beyond good food, you can savor the human value of those who welcome you. A place that stays in your heart, and that deserves to be remembered and recommended. ❤️

28/04/2026: Everything was perfect, from the food to the location to the service...the atmosphere was refined and relaxing. Claudia was very kind and always available.

01/06/2026: We chose to grab a bite to eat with friends and drink a spritz, and we arrived around 8:30 PM. I asked for a menu that didn't exist (which already bothered me, but since we were with friends, I didn't make a fuss). The girl started listing off a few items available, and to call it a day, we ordered drinks and "hot stuff" (as she told us). The drinks arrived, but the food took a while to arrive. Finally, the food arrived: four items each (a small panzerotti, bruschetta, a mini sandwich, a slice of potato pizza, plus Barese-style prosciutto and salami). The bill, which we found disproportionate, was given verbally, without a receipt "because the register was broken." We paid and left, certain we'd never return.

23/03/2026: A truly pleasant location, aesthetically beautiful, with thoughtful, creative, and welcoming furnishings and decor. It's a typical evening venue, well-suited for both couples and small groups. Interesting wines by the glass, as are the appetizers. Very courteous table service. I didn't appreciate the lack of a menu (it was reported to be reprinted, but from the reviews I deduce it's an outdated custom). Prices should be clearly displayed... The final price is a bit above the average for the area.

26/08/2025: While strolling through the town streets before dinner, we stumbled upon this truly charming and unique bar. The many positive reviews of their drinks piqued our curiosity, and we can confirm: they're truly worth it! 🍸 Michele, who looked after us, was kind and attentive, as well as very skilled at making cocktails. He also recommended some local gins, making the experience even more enjoyable. A truly memorable place, definitely worth a visit.

24/08/2025: Rude waiters and owner. There are much friendlier places all around that serve happy hour aperitif with food included in their drink price. View is not great.

22/03/2026: Unfortunately, the experience was negative due to the service. The lady taking orders was extremely slow and seemed completely lost among the tables. The overall impression was one of confusion and disorganization: we waited much longer than necessary before we could even order.

13/04/2026: We had a truly delicious meal here. Including pieces of grilled chicken and a meal salad. We found the price-quality ratio to be clearly much better than at the other 'restaurants' in Lecce where we have eaten over the past few days.
