19/04/2026: We Just started at this place. Really disappointing. The owner, very insecure, didn't even know what to recommend. 6 bombette, 6 pieces of sausage, a slice of tagliata, an antipasto plate that included 4 slices of mortadella, 4 slices of capocollo, and a few slices of salami and cheese, and a plate of carpaccio. All this for three people, paying 120 euros total. It's way too much, not even if we had eaten fish and oysters. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

06/01/2026: The bar is one of Brindisi's finest establishments, nestled in a strategic location in the city's most residential neighborhood. With the new layout resulting from the renovation, the establishment has taken on a much more elegant appearance, and the number of desserts on the counter has increased significantly. The welcome is impeccable, the staff are very friendly, and the owner, his wife, and son go out of their way to pamper every customer. The cakes, semifreddos, and gelato are among the specialties.

04/01/2026: An unpleasant experience, not so much because of the food, but because of the extremely slow service (which, given other reviews, is not an isolated case) and the owner's lack of humility, which he will address below, as in the other reviews. Treating customers with kindness and courtesy should be the primary quality of a business serving customers, beyond quality. Please take this review as a starting point for improvement. What can I say? Brindisi is wonderful and full of other places with efficient service and good quality.

12/06/2026: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ On a beautiful sunny morning in Altamura, we stopped at this historic bakery for brunch, and the experience was truly excellent. We had the opportunity to sample several traditional local specialties: from fragrant friselle drizzled with excellent olive oil, to authentic Altamura bread, to pizza and focaccia from Bari, all prepared with quality ingredients and with that authenticity that is evident from the first bite. The variety of products is remarkable, and every bite confirms the care and experience of those who work at this bakery every day. Another particularly appreciated aspect is the quality-price ratio, which is decidedly reasonable considering the excellence of the offerings. The staff was courteous, helpful, and quick in their service, helping to make our visit even more enjoyable. The option of sitting at the outdoor tables and enjoying these specialties in complete relaxation was also very pleasant. A stop absolutely worth a visit for anyone wishing to discover the authentic flavors of Altamura and Puglia's culinary traditions. Highly recommended.

It seems excessive when I saw that other bakeries sell the same product for €25. Thanks anyway. For replying to me on WhatsApp about this, the one mentioned didn't even bother replying 👏👏👏

07/04/2026: A friend of mine took me there years ago, and since then, whenever I'm in the area, I can't help but stop in. Everything is excellent; I've bought some excellent cakes several times. The staff is friendly and always available, and there's private parking for customers.

30/04/2026: We arrived at 2:20 PM and were greeted with great hospitality, which is certainly not a given: that alone deserves praise. A truly elegant location, with a splendid seafront view that makes the experience even more enjoyable. The staff was extremely courteous and friendly throughout the lunch. The food? Without a doubt, high quality, with fresh ingredients and well-executed dishes. If I really had to find a "quote" (more out of honesty than actual criticism): - I missed the peppery mussels... because a peppery mussel should be peppery, not just a "cozzata" 😉; - on the tiramisu, however, the cocoa was a bit too much, slightly overpowering the other flavors. Aside from that, nothing much to say: the quality of the food was truly superb and the overall experience was absolutely positive. I would definitely go back. 👍

29/09/2025: We made it our mission to try as many gelateria shops in Ostuni as we could, and while they started to taste the same, this shop was an exception. Staff were super friendly, and the taste and texture of their gelato was excellent! Highly recommend, worth the walk up the steps to the top of Ostuni to enjoy their many sweet treats while enjoying the beautiful view!
