07/07/2025: Historic bar in Torre a Mare, located in one of the main streets overlooking the sea. It has a veranda with outdoor tables for drinks to order, excluding ice cream cones and cups. Good products and average prices. Finding parking in the immediate vicinity is quite easy.

03/08/2025: After 10 years, we returned, hoping to find him again. And luckily, Bar Turismo is still there. Same bar and same owner as always. Gelato, in one word: spectacular. Vito might seem grumpy to most tourists (despite the bar's name 😂). It's better this way; tourists go to bars/gelato shops designed especially for them, with bright LED signs, blasting music, futuristic decor, and outrageous prices. We'll keep our lovely Bar Turismo, a dive into the memories and flavors of the past.

03/06/2025: Second time I return to this restaurant, Unfortunately I was disappointed (maybe the wrong night) I had reserved a Sunday night when we arrived it was closed, I called kindly and they said it was coming.. We entered and were seated at the table, there were no waiters, he was alone, tables still dirty from lunch, he really I think woken up from a nap, very kind I can't say otherwise but the place is quite run down. Good dishes, price too. I recommend more cleaning.. But I will return to see if it was the wrong night...

The immediate feeling and friendliness of the owners, with whom we entertained ourselves in long chats, made us live the experience of real life in the village in a human dimension that is difficult to find. 09/08/2025: We stumbled upon this splendid family-run restaurant on the hills above Ostuni by chance. The appetizers were exceptional, the first courses superb, and the desserts were superb. The atmosphere was magical, and the view was unique. We'll be back.
