27/09/2025: Last night we celebrated a dear friend's 80th birthday. We entrusted the catering to Artista. Michela and Alfonso arrived early and quickly set up the buffet and cake stations. They carefully arranged the food and, above all, paid attention to the aesthetics, placing lovely bowls of fresh flowers on the tables. They were kind and helpful throughout, accommodating our every request. All our guests raved about both the service and the deliciousness of the refreshments. Special thanks to Rosalia, who made the cake—it was beautiful and truly delicious! We're so happy we chose Artista!

24/07/2025: We chose to celebrate our daughter's birthday at this venue, and everything was perfect. The buffet was excellent (we loved the savory croissants and focaccia), and the cake was truly delicious.

17/04/2025: Este es un gran lugar para un aperitivo o una comida. Había un gran menú para elegir. El servicio era rápido y amable y la comida era muy sabrosa. Estuvimos allí poco después de que abriesen a las 7 de la tarde y después de 20 minutos estaban casi llenos. Recomendamos encarecidamente este lugar.

14/04/2025: Excelente restaurante especializado en deliciosos panzerotti. Popular entre los lugareños y turistas a precios asequibles. Hay una gran variedad de rellenos, siendo mi favorito la carne y la cebolla. Siempre deje un poco de espacio para uno dulce al final - chocolate y coco recomendado. Gran servicio y buena comida en un ambiente agradable. Gracias Francesco y el resto del personal.

27/09/2025: What a gem . I little bar with great zero beers and amazing burgers. I had the gogozola burger and it was epic.

27/07/2025: Brewery located in the historic center of the town. The owner is very kind, knowledgeable, and knows how to recommend the right pairings. We had some really delicious chips, a sandwich, and a puccia with high-quality products. The draft beers are also excellent 🤗

08/06/2025: Excellent coffee and assorted pastries. Professional and kind owner. Also, very important: Cleanliness is a priority. Availability of outdoor tables with a view of the Castle.

09/07/2025: The best bar in all of Puglia. The owners are friendly and professional. Everything is great and fresh but it is the people who make this place so special. I am a tourist and everyone treated us like locals. More places like this. The best coffee, drinks and snacks. Luigi and Antonio are masters of their craft.

26/08/2025: A trip to Lecce to see the city? To celebrate Sant'Oronzo? No. The wife is looking for a shop, in August, with the heat, the half-hour, and the children asking for the bathroom. I slip into an unknown and anonymous café that had struck me with its 1980s-style window. I meet Mr. Bruno, an octogenarian pastry chef, who tells me about his life and his desserts. A wonderful experience.

17/08/2025: The coffee was fantastic, the service was quick, and it was very local, from another era. The mini sfogliattela was delicious.

20/09/2025: At first, we were seated at a very nice table by a friendly waiter, and things looked promising. But shortly after ordering, a lady came over and in a rather rude manner told us the table was reserved and we had to move elsewhere. We then waited quite a while for the so-called “signature drinks.” One of them was completely uninspired and tasted like nothing, the other was just okay — a pity, because the creative name had raised expectations. If you want to borrow Hemingway’s name, why not serve Hemingway-inspired drinks? The location by the sea is undeniably beautiful, but service and concept matter just as much. Sadly, the staff here didn’t seem to genuinely care about guests. For now: avoid this place. You can enjoy the same seaviews for free in Trani at countless other spots — without the terrible service.

02/09/2025: Excellent food at more than fair prices. There was a small mixup when they lost the order, but as soon as they realized it, they made up for it. Kudos to the guy grilling, a true professional. If you're in the area, give him a try.

30/08/2025: On Monday evening, strolling through the streets of a lively city, we stopped for dinner at this splendid restaurant. We were immediately greeted with a smile and shown to our table. The menu was varied and the wine list excellent. The maître d', Antonio, was professional and friendly, recommending dishes that turned out to be excellent. The quality/price ratio was excellent, and we'll be back soon.

29/08/2025: We went there following our guidebook recommendation and were utterly disappointed. Food is decent however service is appalling: waiters without a smile, very slow and unwelcoming. We felt that we were disturbing them. Furthermore the value for money is really poor and it is a real rip-off (eg. 7 prawn tempuras for €35 euros); we ate in several fish places in Puglia with much better quality fish and dishes in other places in Lecce, Monopoli, Polignano, Gallipoli at more than 50% of this restaurant prices. It positions itself as an up and coming and trendy place but completely falls short of it. Go somewhere else! you’ll have a much better experience !!! (PS: we have notified the guidebook to remove such recommendation)

13/10/2025: Beautiful place, Saturday, October 11th, enlivened by a wonderful live band, the ones on the second floor. Excellent food, great location, excellent parking. Prices are a little above average, but the food is well above average. Perhaps they could have had an extra waiter in the dining room, but in the end, they allowed us to chat a bit.

27/09/2025: An evening during a musical event. The location is appreciated for its ambiance, and the food isn't bad. It's a shame, however, that we all felt sick that night, with stomach aches and diarrhea. The worst thing about this place is the service; completely nonexistent, with rude and surly waiters who, when you ask for bread to go with your meat (which incidentally arrived 45 minutes after you ordered), will reply, "I brought you the bread first, now you've run out of bread." The positive aspect is the owner's reaction, who immediately apologized to my complaint and reprimanded the waiter for giving me that response in front of him. I'm sorry for this bad review, which I never would have written, but after spending a sleepless night with diarrhea, I really can't conscientiously refuse to review. We'll never be back!

24/06/2025: Beautiful pub. Great beer and good food. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. The guy who served us was very good and kind to solve a small problem with a beer. It's the little things that make a customer loyal. I will definitely be back.

23/08/2025: Yesterday, my husband and I went for a snack at this restaurant. We sat outside in a charming little square located within the walls of Akaja Castle. We enjoyed a platter of various cheeses and cured meats, along with bruschetta. The food was very good, thanks to the quality of the ingredients. We also enjoyed the service, as Rossella was very professional and kind. We'll be back again this evening.
