03/02/2025: Meglio non andarci! 50 minuti di orologio PER AVERE SOLO UN TOAST, ma solo dopo molte sollecitazioni! DISORGANIZZATI! Impossibile riuscire ad avere un'ordinazione, tavoli che aspettano ore, tavoli sporchi e non sparecchiati, nessun cameriere in vista.. quando arrivano i piatti pronti NON sanno a chi consegnarla. L'unica parte che funziona, e molto velocemente, è la CASSA: i soldi li prendono subito, prezzi cari e non adeguati a quanto offerto!! LASCIATE PERDERE

24/02/2025: This is the most historic café in the Sanctuary. I still remember the emotion and taste of the torcetti after the procession to the Basilica. Staff at the tables busy and very friendly. Not too big place with few tables and the problem of all the rooms in the building.... the bathroom. Good ice cream and sufficient choice of cups

22/02/2025: Vicino alla stazione di porta Nuova, è comodo per fare colazione prima di partire o all'arrivo. Il locale è ovviamente molto bello. Una delle volte che ci siamo stati i tramezzini non erano freschissimi, ovvero il pane era un po' secco. , altrettanto storico, sono decisamente migliori. In Compenso, offrono anche mini tramezzini. Il croissant era un po' bruciacchiato. 14 €, per l'accompagnamento a un bicchiere di Franciacorta, sono un po' cari. I servizi igienici dovrebbero essere migliorati.

10/02/2025: NO, SCUSATE..., qui ci si trova di fronte ad un possibile equivoco, perchè io NON faro' la recensione di questo "Caffè Storico d'Italia" per la parte di CAFFETTERIA, ma la farò in quanto RISTORANTE. E la mia esperienza, da torinese adottato da quasi 25 anni, e anche molto critico con alcune tendenze locali, è ESTREMAMENTE POSITIVA. Attenzione: SOLO A PRANZO! e questo sarebbe una limitazione, MA FINO ALLE 15 (e contiamo i locali di Torino dove la cucina chiude alle 15!!). In sintesi: se volete fare un figurone con vostri ospiti che vengono, che so, da Bari, o Salerno, città che conosco molto bene, o magari dagli Stati Uniti in cerca di locali originali dell'800, portateli qui. Prezzi assolutamente accettabili, considerata anche la sfacciata eleganza del locale, offerta tutt'altro che scontata di piatti che stanno bene anche da soli (ceci con baccalà ,per esempio), porzioni generose, e cortesia quanta ne volete. Il tutto, al PRIMO PIANO, in un ambiente silenzioso, arioso e prestigioso che lévati... Un pranzo veramente ultra godibile. Bravi!

24/02/2025: Sembra incredibile che in posto così conosciuto, così carino , così elevato come qualità, manchi la quantità! Arrivati alle 9.00 del mattino ( in settimana) ci sono già solo più una decina di brioches di quelle super farcite , molto grandi, molto buone per altro, e più nessuna ai cereali, vuota, ai frutti di bosco insomma, quelle che il sabato e la domenica hanno e che ti permettono di non ingolfarti con quelle bombe strapiene. Chiedo e non hanno in programma di farne " perché in settimana non vanno". Però sono finite...quindi vanno. E sono.le 9.00 non le 11.00! E dire che c'è il laboratorio dietro. Secondo me potrebbe essere una strategia per vendere le torte, che a fetta costano ben 6 euro!!! Ma quello che mi ha dato più fastidio è il menefreghismo vedendo l' insoddisfazione del cliente, per la serie : "e' cosi e stop". Nemmeno un ' mi dispiace sono finite" o qualcosa di simile. Praticamente per mangiare un semplicissimo croissant bisogna andare alle 7.30!

13/02/2025: Ho preso una fetta di torta, un croissant alla marmellata e un pezzo di crostata tramite Glovo! E arrivata una scatoletta mezza aperta con la torta e un sacchettino aperto con dentro 2 pezzetti di crostata sbriciolata e niente croissant! Contatto Glovo e chiedo una riconsegna delle cose mancati segnalando che era arrivato tutto aperto, Glovo invia nuovamente l’ordine e arrivano altri 2 pezzettini di crostata dentro un sacchettino aperto e nessun croissant! Ricontatto Glovo e adesso aspetto un rimborso! Consiglio alla struttura che quando si fa un delivery il cibo deve essere chiuso bene dentro i sacchetti con scotch o punti metallici in modo da garantire la sicurezza del prodotto! A causa di questo ho gettato la crostata perché in un sacchetto aperta poteva senza problemi uscire e finire dentro lo zaino del corriere quindi poco igienico! Non ordinerò più tramite Glovo in questo posto non c’è stata nessuna cura su come inviare gli alimenti e peggio ci sono stati prodotti mancanti nel ordine mai arrivati.

28/12/2024: After a walk we stopped for a chocolate. Very dirty environment, chocolate stained chairs and I don't know anything else, super dirty curtains, smell of sewer. Ordered classic chocolate and it arrived dark at a crazy price €8 drowned in pampered, terrible mash and there was nothing hot €8 without cream. Crazy waiting times…. Receipt without details as proof of honesty.... Yes yes exactly like that Bottom line we will NEVER go back there AGAIN especially because of the dirt. We could really use a good hygiene office check 🤦🏻‍♀️

21/12/2024: A place stolen from the doing, not an island but a sheltered corner from which to observe the agitation, a little further on. Good choice of wines, appetizers made with care, fair prices.

20/11/2024: I was unpleasantly disappointed by the owner's treatment, after sitting at the table with some of my friends who rightly drank wine, having to forcibly abstain for serious medical reasons, I still decided to stay with them and out of respect I tried to order a coke a bit jokingly, without saying a word and looking at me with contempt (perceived by all my friends) he goes to see but he didn't have any, I order a water and he brings me a bottle of water without a glass. Obviously I already felt a little uncomfortable, plus I have serious medical problems, feeling treated in this way really disappointed me, a terrible impression not only with me but with the whole table... The owner doesn't know me and I could very well have been an ex-alcoholic or a person with health problems (as in my case) or simply a teetotal person who wanted to have an aperitif with his friends, in any case a person who deserves respect
