27/11/2025: On the recommendation of a friend, we decided to try this pastry shop. What can I say? The location is beautiful, the lake view is lovely, and so is the sweet and savory selection. But we weren't thrilled with the croissants, the table in the hallway (we were looking for a corner table because we have a small croissant, although it's a plus because they accepted it), the glass spray cleaner on display on the counter—no way! We ordered a coffee, an empty croissant, and a Veneziana croissant. Unfortunately, we received two croissants, the empty one covered in an excessive amount of powdered sugar, and that other croissant... but where's the Veneziana croissant? We expected the classic Veneziana shape and flavor... but no. Too expensive, and we were charged for a bombolone, which we never got. Disappointing because we had high expectations.

25/11/2025: A cozy pastry shop with a truly pleasant atmosphere. The staff is very kind and attentive. I enjoyed a tea accompanied by a truly delicious dessert. A perfect place for a relaxing break. Highly recommended!

13/09/2025: After ordering takeout croissants, I asked for an invoice at checkout. The restaurant couldn't generate one, telling me they wouldn't issue one for orders below a certain amount (which violates the law, which doesn't specify a minimum amount). Terrible treatment, as unpleasant as can be.

22/08/2025: The bar was average, but I was shocked by the way I was treated by a blonde with glasses. I "allowed" myself to take a small plate for the croissant, the woman came over and said, pointing to a sign, "You have to sit down, we'll come." When I asked what the croissant I was pointing to was called, her answer was again "You have to sit down," and not satisfied, she repeated it a third time... I felt like I was at school with the teacher, never again!

02/12/2025: Excellent Bavarian-style beer hall, with friendly and fast service, excellent beers, and good food. The owner's kindness is a standout feature. Average price.

24/09/2025: Drip Coffee is a little gem in Piazza Monteregale, nestled under the arcades in a convenient and pleasant location. The establishment is modern, functional, and well-attended, with a lively and welcoming atmosphere. The outdoor tables are perfect for enjoying a sunny day with a well-prepared cappuccino and quality artisanal brioches. The staff is distinguished by their kindness and attentiveness, always smiling and attentive to their customers' needs. It's located at the beginning of Piazza Monteregale (or at the end, depending on your location!). A café that manages to combine simplicity and character, worth a visit for both breakfast and a light but tasty lunch. Congratulations and keep up the good work.

29/08/2025: More and more people are coming to it, some by chance and some by choice. But once you try it, you never give it up. Try proving me wrong...!!!

21/06/2025: Great bakery. We lived in the same building, and the smell was fantastic every day! We tried all sorts of croissants, and they were truly delicious and highly recommended.

07/06/2025: We went for an aperitif on Saturday at 6pm. We ordered 2 proseccos, 1 iced tea and 1 iced coffee with some snacks. We brought the drinks to the outside table and we started off badly. After 5 minutes, 2 small savoury croissants cut into pieces and a bowl of crisps arrived. At 6.40pm a girl started to clear away the whole outdoor area, removing chairs, tables and closing the umbrella.... making us understand that we should have gotten up... So we did... I went in to pay... 28 EUROS FOR AN APERITIF THAT WAS WORTH HALF.... I brought everything to the table, there was nothing to eat and you gave me a prosecco for 10 euros???? NEVER AGAIN..... HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED!!!

06/12/2025: I happened to pass by and the display caught my eye... I got a ricotta croissant... I'd been looking for one like this for a while... good, not too buttery, and you could tell it was quality. Next time I'll try the zabaglione cannoli. Great price, €1.50. Friendly and professional staff. Recommended.

05/10/2025: A fantastic experience. The welcome was warm, the atmosphere comfortable and discreet. The cuisine and plating were meticulously prepared, and the service was meticulously meticulous. 03/10/2025: Ordered a sandwich, came in 1 minute, frozen. It's supermarket garbage. I pointed it out to the waiter, and he gave me a stupid reply: we're not a restaurant. In my Sturm & Drang days, he would have been a head shorter! Like in almost every bar, there are five waiters milling around who don't even need it... Never again ✌️

18/10/2025: Gentlemen... 2 euros for a small bottle of water (0.25?) from the tap. The situation was so paradoxical that I almost laughed... Thank you.

27/08/2025: We only came in for a coffee after lunch, but a glance at the counter told us we wouldn't leave empty-handed. The selection is wide, colorful, and inviting enough to easily "suck you in." The coffee with cream was the biggest surprise: served in a cappuccino cup, with a mountain of fresh, velvety, and excellent-quality cream. One of those portions that defy measure and make you smile. All this accompanied by the smiles and friendliness of the staff, which contributes to making the stop even more enjoyable.

14/07/2025: The staff didn't welcome us with proper manners, making up stories to avoid meeting our requests. There were two of us, and they treated us arrogantly, superiorly, and made us feel uncomfortable. We left feeling humiliated and disappointed, and went to a nearby pastry shop where they served us adequately.

10/08/2025: I only had a drink, given the crazy heat today 10/08/2025... it seemed like the least I could do. Fast service, smiling and good girls. When I come to Candelo it's a pleasure to come here, prices in line with other bars.

12/06/2025: Amazing sandwiches, and you can fill them however you like. The staff is attentive, friendly, and very professional. A perfect lunch break.
