04/05/2026: We had breakfast here, having included it when staying at a nearby B&B. Excellent cappuccino, very good croissants. Old-fashioned bar, but still good quality. Highly recommended.

02/05/2026: VERY DEAR. A CAPPUCCINO 2.50 BUT WATER IS EVEN WORSE. A SMALL BOTTLE 1.80!!!! YOU WON'T SEE ME AGAIN.

17/05/2026: A lovely wine bar on the Arona lakeside where you can also grab a snack... first courses start at €18, generous portions but overpriced. Friendly service

20/01/2026: Enoteca Simonotti Wine Bar is a little gem in Arona: excellent wines, tasty cuisine, a welcoming atmosphere, and truly exceptional service. A place worth trying and a place you'll want to return to.

13/02/2026: We found ourselves eating at this set menu bar/restaurant at lunchtime Monday through Friday while we were in the area. The staff were friendly, the food was good, and the price was excellent. Since it was Friday, they even offered dessert for two, including a first course, second course, side dish, dessert, water, and coffee for a total of €30.

06/01/2026: *DISHONEST*: 01/06/26. Invited by a fisherman friend, I paid 60 euros for 4 hours for the fisherman, 2 hours for me, a card for the friend, and entry with a car. Rightly so, the man didn't give me the card because I wouldn't have gone any other times! When I left, a lady "forced" me to get the card. After 2 hours, my friend came out and charged him 6 euros for my card!! *SHAMEFUL*.... But in a few days I'll go back to talk face to face!! They'll have to explain to me why I didn't need to get a card for a single entry at the entrance, and when I left they forced my friend to pay 6 euros for my card!!

18/05/2026: Sunday morning, sunshine, peace, and breakfast at Caffè San Carlo... bliss! Excellent coffee, out-of-this-world pastries, fast service, and a fabulous location inside and out. It's refreshing to see businesses like this still exist, with such dedicated staff dedicated to providing quality products and service. The prices are rightfully higher than average. If you've never tried Carla, you haven't lived.

17/05/2026: Breakfast at Caffè San Carlo in Turin was truly special ✨ We tried both the sweet and savory options and were extremely satisfied. Everything was meticulously crafted, delicious, and made with quality ingredients. From the soft and delicious pastries to the more unique savory options, everything was truly impeccable. The elegant location and unique atmosphere make breakfast even more enjoyable, perfect for a treat in the heart of Turin ☕🥐 An experience we would absolutely repeat!

10/11/2025: My friends ordered from them for the first time. I've only tried the takeout pizza. It's thin crust, and the dough is good. I think the toppings are a bit sparse, and the prices are average.

22/10/2025: Great experience at Pizzeria Galot! We went here for Oktoberfest: the atmosphere was cheerful and refined, with themed costumes that made the evening even more fun. There was live music (though we left early and missed it), the staff was really friendly and helpful, the service was fast, and the prices were fair. A perfect place for a casual and enjoyable evening. Highly recommended!

03/05/2026: I decided to review this place because in 25 years of working in bars, I've never had an unpleasant experience like this. I'll tell you about it. Friday evening, we went for an aperitif (six friends). The waitress (she was very kind and knowledgeable) recommended a bottle of prosecco, stating that each bottle came with appetizers for four people, but they were plentiful (total €25). When she brought the drinks, we were pleased to note that she was right. SO WE DECIDED TO BUY ANOTHER BOTTLE OF THE SAME AS THE PREVIOUS ROUND, ADDING A PINSA recommended by the owner (€8). This time, upon delivery, we were in for a bitter surprise: the appetizers, like the first bottle, were missing. WHEN WE REQUESTED AN EXPLANATION, THE OWNER (COWARD) SENDS THE WAITRESS (who couldn't stand it) SAYING THAT HE DEMANDS 2 EUROS MORE PER PERSON. We paid a whopping 58 EUROS. OFFENDED, WE LEAVE THE TABLE WITH THE KNOWLEDGE OF NEVER RETURNING AGAIN..... be careful guys. RENE.

17/04/2026: When you want to charge for an aperitif with a platter and on top there are two pieces of focaccia, two pieces of pizza, and fries, they should at least tell you in advance. First and last time.

31/12/2025: A well-deserved 4 stars. I'm not giving it 5 simply because, considering it's in Barriera di Milano (not a typical Oxford neighborhood), the prices are a bit steep. That said, I've had a great time the times I've been here, and I highly recommend this place for anyone who, like me, loves both high-quality pastries and brioches.

02/01/2026: Here I enjoyed a divine bicerin, made to my liking, with the ingredients served separately. Also on the tray was a krumiro and a corn biscuit. Excellent, I'll definitely be back. The bartender who made it for me was brilliant. Thank you.
