09/09/2025: A small but quaint restaurant with an old-world feel, nestled in a hamlet with stone houses and a view of the valley. The road is a bit rough and winding, but the place is worth the trip.

25/08/2025: Dinner on August 1, 2025 This restaurant boasts a typically mountain atmosphere. It's about a half-hour drive from Bardonecchia via a fully paved road, but for long stretches, only one car at a time can pass (with some difficulty if you encounter another vehicle coming from the opposite direction). The Piedmontese menu isn't extensive, but it's still adequate to satisfy all tastes. Our orders were overall satisfactory: a varied mixed antipasto with hot and cold dishes (small portions but reasonably priced), pappardelle with wild boar, porcini mushrooms, and chestnuts, al dente and well-seasoned, but the mushrooms were a bit bland and watery; delicious tagliolini with gorgonzola and walnuts; and delicious gnocchi with butter and toma cheese. Finally, traditional desserts. The wine list focuses on Piedmontese labels, including some very prestigious ones, with a predominance of red wines. The service was courteous and prompt. The price was average, but still reasonable. For those with walking difficulties, there's a rather challenging paved climb to reach the venue. Rating: 7.5

10/11/2025: It's the first time I've been to a bar that doesn't allow me to sit down because the few tables available are reserved. Empty tables but with "reserved" signs. Breakfast standing in a narrow space. Shouldn't this be a moment of leisure and relaxation? It's inconceivable that they wouldn't offer a seat because they're reserving the tables. It's not a restaurant where I can stay for two hours, but a place for a 10-minute break... Eating standing while looking at empty reserved tables is ridiculous... when you can clean a bar table in a minute. I definitely wouldn't recommend it for my concept of a coffee break.

03/11/2025: A very famous and award-winning bar in Biella, it's also very, very crowded. It's a challenge to find a seat at the few tables inside, but the coffee is excellent, both regular and macchiato, as are the croissants, and the service is fast and very friendly. The biggest flaw is the small size of the place and the echo inside, which makes conversation really difficult. Anyway, it's worth a try!

16/11/2025: A pleasant discovery in the historic part of Carmagnola. A small, well-kept trattoria, as if you were a guest in someone's home. Very good food, a warm welcome, and reasonable prices. The only shame is that the kitchen probably doesn't have a sufficient exhaust ventilation system. Go and admire every single detail of the decor. 😃 Well done!

22/11/2025: We were on our way to the Torre de Mole and couldn't resist stopping for a slice of cake. All the cakes looked delicious, and every one we tried was a 10/10. The cappuccino was warm and very tasty. The waiters were very friendly. Highly recommended.

15/11/2025: We tried the Bicerin and Zabaione drinks. We paid an extra euro each because we were sitting down. The drinks tasted nice and the cocktails were okay.

15/09/2025: We often have breakfast there before hitting the road. The staff is friendly and helpful. The croissants are really good, well-baked and not overly sweet.

25/08/2025: On our last day of vacation, we decided to have breakfast at Bar Monviso, since we hadn't been able to the previous days due to hiking and tiredness, and it seemed like a nice place to try! The staff weren't smiling, but they were young and we figured they needed to grow up. We ordered two cappuccinos and two croissants, filled with cream on the spot. The cappuccino was lukewarm 🤐 and the croissants, probably from the day before, tasted and had the same texture as packaged ones. For almost 7 euros, you could do so much better. What a shame! 🤨

18/09/2025: We went there today for lunch, but even though Google and the signs around town told us it was open, we found it closed. For the sake of fairness, everything should be updated so customers don't go there for nothing.

12/11/2025: I've been here twice for breakfast with my husband. We've had cappuccino, a chocolate parcel, a cream croissant, and an apple strudel. The pastries are delicious, even though the croissant only had the filling in the center, like most croissants.

10/06/2025: After many aperitifs based on good wine, excellent raw fish, kindness and good music... we finally managed to enjoy pizza too!!!🍕 VERY GOOD!!! The place is always nice both in winter indoors furnished as a "warm and woody" pub and in summer nice covered terrace with many well-kept plants! Congratulations: you have been working well for many years, keep it up!

11/10/2025: I asked for a menu and was told it was pointless since they weren't serving food at this hour (2:30). I asked if they had anything sweet... Not even that! Then they brought menus and pasticciotti to the five people next to us... Oh well!!!! Leaving aside the lack of politeness from the people sitting next to us... that's another story!

11/05/2025: It's a shame to buy a pack of Lindt chocolates and then find other brands inside. Deceptive packaging.
