12/03/2026: A pastel-colored pastry shop/cafe, overlooking the lake, we ordered two cappuccinos and a lactose-free chocolate, neither infamy nor praise, the price in my case average, two stars for the lack of cleanliness in the bathroom and in the table area, many of which were empty but still set, crumbs on the floor, it would take little to go and clear the table and clean as soon as the table is free, it would make a better impression.
08/03/2026: Superb pastries and excellent coffee. Prices are above average, but it's worth it. I don't recommend going on weekends because it gets crowded.

08/03/2026: Tucked in suburban Novara, Il Barone Birra is a great little escape. It is a short walk, however, from centro Novara. Great selection of beers with friendly assistance on selection. The "local" is small and intimate, however, noisy which made conversation difficult. One needs to book for dinner. Food was very good, however the meals did not come together. My only real criticism, despite booking, was that we as a family with adult kids were rushed through our meal and out the door because unbooked clients were waiting for a table to free up.

21/02/2026: I just went for a coffee at this beautiful café on Corso Racconigi. I was delighted to meet Laura and Luca, the guys who used to own the tobacco shop downstairs from my house. They were, as always, kind, professional, friendly, and helpful! I was so happy to be recognized immediately ❤️
A top-notch place, decorated with great style, lovely background music, excellent coffee, and a wide selection of sweet and savory treats in the window. What can I say? From now on, this will be my go-to bar for Saturday lunches. ❤️
20/02/2026: Compared to other bars, this one is welcoming and beautiful. There are several options for alcoholic drinks and beverages. Besides coffee, there are also several savory breakfast options: sandwiches and panfocaccia. I really enjoy taking my break here 💝

A no-frills pub that does things right. The cocktails are basic, yes, but they're really well-made: just the right balance and no improvisation. The staff is attentive, friendly, and makes you feel immediately at ease, even when the place is busy.
A very positive note is the prices: more than fair, especially considering the quality.
An ideal place to start (or end) the evening in good company, stress-free, and with a good drink in hand. Recommended

16/01/2026: They made me pay for the bad weather and then they brought the kebab in a plastic bag so it was cold and then they asked for a tip and they didn't give a receipt but the invoice that you print and the minimum cost.
16/12/2025: I found the atmosphere very clean and welcoming. Excellent value for money. The kebab menu includes a sandwich and fries.

09/03/2026: Fregola and mussels, out of this world. The idea of adding a club sandwich to the menu is unusual, perfect for lunch. The accompanying loaf is warm and crispy straight from the oven.
The level of detail is unexpectedly high, both on the plate and at the table. The head waiter manages everything herself, meticulously.
Excellent experience
04/01/2026: Menu: Very well cooked and varied. The four-course tasting menu with dishes chosen by the chef (surprise) for €45 is interesting.
Service: Slow, especially at the beginning. We waited quite a while, even just for water 😅
Location very close to the square, welcoming.
Adequate prices.
I recommend it.

Today we met by chance and went to have breakfast here at Amore...what can I say? I wanted a pastry...and then I was drawn to the Mimosa Cake...keeping with the theme of the day.... Amazing! Delicious! Thank you for your kindness, professionalism, and the love you put into what you do. And as I always say, try it and believe it! ⚘🎂
I forgot about the coffee! Delicious!
12/11/2025: I've been here twice for breakfast with my husband. We've had cappuccino, a chocolate parcel, a cream croissant, and an apple strudel. The pastries are delicious, even though the croissant only had the filling in the center, like most croissants.
