22/08/2024: In contrast to the unjustifiably overcrowded tourist spots nearby, this bar pleasantly surprised us with its calm atmosphere, delicious signature cocktails, and homemade starters. I recommend not getting drawn into places where guests eat from plastic plates—walk further along the canal and enjoy a pleasant evening here.

19/08/2024: I always like to change pubs but I always come to Pongue and do you know why?? Pongue still serves the pint in the 0.5 glass, where many others, to earn a few cents, cheat you with the 0.4x. And honestly the pint in the 0.4 is an outrage to the cult of beer. As long as this continues, I will be a regular customer.

20/08/2024: Very bad experience. Three people arrived at 12.45pm; at 2.00 pm, after various requests, we finally saw a mixed cold cut and a mixed fried fish arrive. At 3.10pm we agreed that there was no longer any point in waiting any longer and, canceling the rest of the order, we asked for the bill, making our disappointment known. The presented bill of 66.00 euros was mistakenly loaded with a risotto we had never seen (fortunately we realized this on the way back to the car). August day ruined not to mention that it was also my birthday and that at that time without prior reservation it was impossible to find another restaurant.

16/08/2024: We have already been several times for lunch and dinner and each time the service gets worse. Today at lunch, despite having arrived at 12.15 and having ordered immediately, the first course ordered arrived after more than an hour and the second after an hour and ten. The fried food was soft and greasy. The room was a general complaint from all guests for the long wait. When we asked the waiter how long we had to wait for the second course he told us that unfortunately there were a lot of people and we had to be patient. At the time of payment not even a hint of apology. We won't be coming back again.

03/09/2024: Great place for a morning hood (…), spermutta and croissant. It opens 0430 AM so it is a great spot to stop if you have to catch an early train (two blocks away). Friendly service! Thanks for the sandwiches I bought on my last morning in Milan! I hope to return soon! Came back with my brother and as always- the best cafe to start the day! We'll be back in three weeks - I'll wait on my hood, juice and croissants...
