10/05/2026: A REAL pastry shop! I ate one of my mother's heavenly zeppola: perfect pastry, delicious cream, fluffy whipped cream, and the freshest strawberries.

17/04/2026: This is now our go-to sushi place. They've never disappointed us, and above all, the staff is kind and welcoming. Excellent quality sushi and generous portions. We've been for both lunch and dinner, and the quality remains the same, except for the additions to the menu, of course. We'll definitely continue to come here for our meals. Thank you, Sakura.

28/02/2026: Having just arrived in Milan, we wanted to get out and explore a bit prior to our Olympic event later that evening. Being mid-afternoon, many places were closed until evening, but we found this gem of a gin bar not far from Centrale. We had intended cocktails, but were told only gin and tonic. No worries. We described what we liked to the bartender, and she chose what we would drink. Our beverages arrived with a single large ice cube in a glass, a bottle of selected tonic, and a small decanter of gin - all set so you can decide your preferred ratios. Loved the presentation - wish this could be replicated in the US but people would steal the decanters. First G&T was so good we had another. Would have stayed longer, but didn't want to get drunk and miss the Olympics...another time, perhaps.

15/02/2026: The place is so dirty, the owner is rude, it almost seems like a nuisance to have customers come in, the beer is poor, and the happy hour is nonexistent. I think I should look for a job that doesn't involve contact with the public.

15/04/2026: Genuinely fantastic little morning cafe, especially for pastries. By far the best krapfen I’ve tasted in all of Milan! I also highly recommend the the muffins with pistachio filling! The coffee is pretty standard but clearly not the main draw. Still very pleasant. But just the overall setting of a corner cafe, operated by very warm and welcoming staff ties it all together as a truly lovely experience.

18/03/2026: I'm shocked by how I was treated this evening, St. Patrick's Day 2026, after years of being a customer of this establishment. After a long line, I managed to buy a Guinness at the counter outside. Once I paid, I stood aside to allow others in line to be served, waiting for my beer to be served. After really waiting no more than a minute or two, I asked where my beer was, and the guy at the counter, with an arrogance and aggression I'd truly never seen in this establishment, told me I was trying to rip him off and that I hadn't paid. I tried to show him both the receipt and the transaction on the app. He said it wasn't okay anyway because the payment time wasn't visible, and that I should stop trying to rip him off. So I didn't get my St. Patrick's Guinness, and I was even accused of being a scammer. I've been coming to this establishment for 10 years! I don't care about the €6.50 I spent, but I think I'm owed an apology! I expect it because I don't want to be left with a bad memory of a place I've always loved and know is run by serious, respectable people.

24/03/2026: Unsatisfactory handling of incidents; we waited an hour for our main course before being informed that the grill and oven were malfunctioning. I also found a small piece of plastic inside my lobster. The waiter was kind and helpful. The tiramisu was divine. We won't be returning.
