I have never met such a professional, well-organized, and helpful restaurant staff in Italy. The dinner was also very delicious. Congratulations to the entire staff!

17/04/2026: A very pleasant surprise! I happened to be passing by and stopped for a quick glass of wine. Lorenzo and Vittorio are two exceptional hosts, helpful and friendly. Excellent wine and bread with olive oil. Highly recommended.

18/03/2026: Now my sole wine supplier (if I'm going to drink well!)! They're very knowledgeable and friendly, and have a selection of natural wines that aren't extreme, with some truly remarkable gems. They're small wineries with strictly artisanal production, but without exaggerating what's now much more of a fad than a skill, and they have that skill. I really like their ability to rotate through different wineries quickly, so I always have a diverse selection. I personally find the selection of unique native grape varieties, especially from Emilia Romagna, very enjoyable.

27/02/2026: My wife and I are North American craft beer drinkers. I spent many hours trying to find a "dive bar" (in atmosphere, not in quality) that would offer reasonably priced, Italy/Milan GOOD craft beer. This was that place! Tucked in what I believe was the "university" area of Milan, HOP had a great selection of different styles of beer from local brewery Birrificio Lambrate. The Birrificio Lambrate brewery makes some great beer. We enjoyed Cosmic (Session IPA), Atomic (American IPA), Gaina (American IPA) and American Magut (American West Coast Pilsner). Our bartender was very knowledgeable and spoke some of the best English we have heard from an Italian in any restaurant/bar/store we have visited. The other bartender/waitress was incredibly friendly. I highly recommend the bar for anyone needing craft beer while in Milan. Not the most convenient location from the Metro, but I believe our walk from Duomo was only about 15 minutes. I would give their food 5-STARS but their menu is very limited and we were essentially there at open (6p) so we only had their snacks. You many want to get a full meal elsewhere, but DEFINITELY stop in for their craft beers.

22/03/2026: Our day in Milan started in the best possible way, with breakfast at "Ciuca di Late": a delicious macchiato or cappuccino, crispy cornetti or brioche, and best of all, the orange spremuta. The owners were charming, attentive, and quick. It was close to our hotel, right next to the Maciachini metro entrance. We went back every day and said goodbye with a hug. If you're ever in that area, we highly recommend it. Thanks, Cristina and Andrea.

29/03/2026: I found it by chance, as often happens, especially when I'm out cycling. I had a wonderful meal. A delicious tartare, excellent pappardelle with wild boar, and to finish, a delicious chocolate cake. A pleasant atmosphere, under the old beams and in front of the windows overlooking the canal and the castle. Last but not least, a professional and helpful waiter. A place I absolutely recommend.

22/02/2026: Visited Milan from the UK and was on the hunt for good shisha, found this spot and was very impressed with it, just 20 minutes walking distance from Milan Duomo. Shisha was perfectly made, ordered our shisha and it was on our table within 10 seconds, strong and sapid. Music and interior was lovely. The lady at the counter was the only one who could speak English and she was amazing, very attentive and made our shisha experience 10/10, spent about £15-20 for shisha and Moroccan tea, very affordable! Returning to Milan again this year and will definitely be coming back to this spot.

09/04/2026: A wonderful experience at this charming and welcoming bistro, offering a wide variety of dishes, including raw fish, tartare, oysters, and much more. The service was fast and efficient. Definitely worth a try!

04/04/2026: The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the location was beautiful, with outdoor seating for the summer. The lobster roll lived up to expectations, but the accompanying fries and mayo were industrial. For the quality of the restaurant, we would have expected homemade fries and mayo. The rest of the dishes were excellent, especially the pasta with sea urchins and the desserts.

01/04/2026: Small but well-stocked café, excellent brioches and coffee, well-prepared aperitifs, if you are in the area it is worth trying
