05/11/2023: Our experience was terrible and cost us days of recovery. We had lunch at sidewalk tables on October 10th. Milanese cotoletta fried in expired oil, pulp with tasteless patate and rubbery texture; but the worst was the taglierini gamberi with dodgy loose shrimp heads. Horrible. I regret not returning the dishes.

20/02/2024: Very nice and well-kept place with large spaces and slightly more reserved seats, attentive, qualified staff who manage the guests very pleasantly. I ate the pizza, I was honestly amazed, it was simply delicious, fragrant, light, well seasoned, excellent ingredients, it didn't weigh me down, I wasn't thirsty, in short, the pizza you always want. In addition to the pizzas that can have 90s dough or contemporary dough (I tried both 90s ones, it has its own reason!) which are both special, I have seen some pretty good dishes come out with excellent decorations. I highly recommend it and will go again!

09/05/2024: Always excellent dishes and very attentive service to everything. I always go there willingly on my lunch break, despite being a restaurant of a certain level they take into account our limited time.

07/05/2024: For my wife's birthday a month and a half ago I reserved the Saletta del Pozzo in this restaurant where we would celebrate with our daughter Yesterday, my birthday, at 1pm I called to confirm the time and was reassured that everything was fine. At 4pm I received a call from the restaurant apologizing but due to a mix-up the room was no longer available. In exchange they would offer me their best table and dinner for all three of us. I leave it to the reader to draw conclusions about this strange unexpected event. Most likely in this restaurant there are series A and series B customers (the one I was placed in) Evidently, according to the owners, one dinner is enough to buy people's dignity For me it's not like that

05/11/2023: Having stumbled upon this place by chance during a motorbike tour, I had the opportunity to taste typical and delicious dishes accompanied by genuine and kind table service. The quality of the dishes fully satisfies our stomach, while the wonderful surrounding landscape of the Sassello hills, after lunch, invites silence of the mind. From the menu I chose a starter of mixed cured meats and polenta with cheese as a first course. The first courses were very tasty and well served, while the polenta (the long-cooked kind, not instant) was savored in a cheese fondue with a strong and delicate flavour. The bread is homemade, as good as the coffee.

12/09/2023: Ormai è qualche anno che io ed i miei amici frequentiamo questo locale e posso dire che è come il vino: più invecchia, più migliora. Il personale, rispetto a due anni fa, è cambiato ma non è cambiata l'allegria e la gentilezza con cui ci hanno accolto! È bello vedere persone con voglia di fare e che vogliono offrire un'esperienza al massimo delle possibilità ed il proprietario, Roberto se non erro, è una gran bella persona (non lo conosco personalmente, ma mi sento di dirlo). Torneremo sicuramente, abbiamo degli "Ammazzafegato" che ci aspettano! Bravi tutti, davvero!

03/01/2024: Bella scoperta! E scusate se sarò un po' lungo. Dopo aver dovuto rinunciare al cenone di capodanno per malanni stagionali, io e mia moglie abbiamo deciso di provare, qualche giorno dopo, questo ristorante di cui avevamo letto bene. Partiamo dunque dall'inizio. Accolti con gentilezza all'arrivo direttamente dallo chef (e proprietario). La sala è semplice ma di buon gusto, come l'apparechiatura dei tavoli, adeguatamente distanti. Sarà il clima ancora festivo, ma ha fatto molto piacere l'offerta augurale e di benvenuto di una flute di spumante con una tartina al salmone. Il menù non è vastissimo, ma ben equilibrato fra mare e terra; le proposte indicano una cucina ancorata al territorio e alle tradizioni, ma con qualche pizzico di innovazione e creatività. Buona la carta dei vini, con logica analoga. Abbiamo optato per il piatto fuori menu: ravioli del plin in crema al tartufo, con una generosa grattata di tartufo bianco di Alba (l'ultimo della stagione): davvero ottimi, e in porzioni altrettanto generose. Poi siamo passati... agli antipasti: un cappon magro molto gustoso e una battuta di vitellone ancora con una grattata di tartufo, a detta di mia moglie una delle migliori battute mai mangiate. Ad accompagnare il tutto acqua San Pellegrino e una bottiglia di Vermentino nero, vino che non conoscevamo ma parecchio interessante. Infine un tortino di nocciole e uno Sciacchetrà. Davvero un'ottima cena. Il costo? 149 euri. Tartufo compreso! Il cenone saltato è stato così molto ben surrogato. Perché allora "solo" 4 stelle e non 5? Un mio insegnante del liceo non dava mai il voto massimo perché, diceva, ogni performance (allora si usavano altre parole) ha potenzialità di miglioramento. Questo dunque è un augurio per l'Antico Tannino, non una critica. Ci torneremo e lo consiglieremo.

02/11/2023: We went to this bar for a simple aperitif and were pleasantly surprised. The bar overlooks Piazza della Vittoria, one of the most beautiful in all of Genoa, therefore it boasts a wonderful location. The staff are incredibly friendly and nice, on several occasions they stopped at our table to have a chat. The offer is excellent: the aperitif menus are plentiful and the food is of excellent quality (pinsa, very fresh platters, frisceau, spicy pitted olives, broad beans, cheeses, and so on). The cocktails are varied, ranging from classics to more innovative proposals (the Vampiro, for example, with vodka, tequila, tomato juice, Tabasco, pepper, honey, onions).
