The small dish was just the right size and very good.
The price of €26.00 for both drinks seems a bit excessive to me.

For such a price, you expect five-star service.
03/03/2026: I stopped by this ice cream shop last Sunday. I tried several flavors, and the gelato was delicious, made with quality ingredients. The staff was very friendly. I highly recommend it.

19/03/2026: Passing by for work, I happened upon this place for a quick business lunch with a colleague. I didn't particularly enjoy the food: the first course was lasagna with pesto, which was acceptable; the second course was a small fried fish (side dish? Who knows), a glass of wine, and coffee.
The price was proportionally high, too high.
Today, in a Ligurian town in the west, at a very similar restaurant, we paid half the price for a set menu that was much better in terms of quantity and quality!
28/02/2026: I've always gone there for a piping hot macchiato and been shocked by the lack of things to get for my girlfriend for breakfast, always very little, I'm celiac, there's nothing for me... so... I wouldn't have set foot there again if it weren't for the fact that some people bring me back for a coffee... but I recommend everyone to go to the historic one in front who knows a little more, as for the internal kitchen, I don't know, there's never room, there are always the same people there, as if they had taken over the tables...

21/10/2025: I don't go often, but every time I go, it's a treat. The brioches are really delicious and filled with a variety of creams, like almond or hazelnut. The place is cute and the staff is very friendly. Absolutely recommended. The cakes are also very good.

24/03/2026: We stopped mainly to heat up our baby's food and feed her. We were really surprised by the aperitivo! I had a non-alcoholic drink, and my partner had an alcoholic one. They brought a lot of food: mini pizzas, nachos, chips, peanuts, meatballs, olives, etc.
For €12, we ate and drank for two, and my little girl had a hot lunch. I highly recommend it!
The owner and waitress were kind and helpful.
If we ever return to Santa Margherita, we'll definitely return to this place ☺️

06/04/2026: The ice cream was average, good. The problem was that we were first told we needed a receipt. We went to the cashier and were told that since we were planning to sit down, we'd have to order outside.
We sat down, and the waitress came and told us that if you're sitting at a table, you can't get a cone, only a cup. We accepted anyway.
The bill arrived: a €2 surcharge per cup wasn't communicated to us by either the cashier or the waitress, which wasn't a problem, but I would have preferred it to be communicated to me.

20/03/2026: I've been sitting at the table outside for 15 minutes with two girls inside looking at me and no one to ask if I want to order. Or at least say, "Ma'am, we don't do table service." Instead, they're inside, watching and laughing. Terrible. I'm leaving.

10/05/2026: My husband bought me some pastries for Mother's Day, and also some slices of chocolate salami. Years ago, I used to buy them often, but now there wasn't a single good pastry. They just taste like sugar. The chocolate ones are all the same, the cream ones are the same. The chocolate salami tasted like nothing, and the rum babas were just too wet and soft. Pastries aren't as good as they used to be. I'm sick of them. Never again.
26/04/2026: Neighborhood café and pastry shop, always friendly staff. A must-visit for weekend breakfast.

09/05/2026: By 2026, it should be common knowledge that professionalism and politeness should be priorities for those who work with the public.
We go in for breakfast, and at the cash register, a woman looks at me hostilely without saying a word or even saying hello.
I may not be a regular customer here, but I am a polite person and a paying customer, like everyone else, who demands respect.
03/05/2026: I don't know what to say. I had breakfast today and paid as much as I would for lunch. A peach carton cost 3 euros... And we often have breakfast here. They take you for tourists. Then they charged us for double the coffee and instead brought a cappuccino.
