20/05/2025: We visited for evening meal and had cod fish spaghetti and cod fish fritters which were very nice. We had lots of different nibbles provided as we were a little early for the kitchen opening which was thoughtful of the staff. We returned for brunch the next day which consisted of eggs and bacon and some French toast. All were lovely and the staff came out with a little candle in a biscuit to mark my husband's birthday. A great place!

17/05/2025: I bought a cake from Traverso today and it was simply delicious. In addition to being very beautiful! It was gone in a flash. I hadn't been there for many years, it was a very pleasant return! Congratulations! The pastries were also really inviting. We will try them soon!
13/05/2025: I ordered a gluten-free cake for my son's First Communion...spectacular! Delicious, the guests complimented me and could hardly believe it was gluten-free. I absolutely recommend it.

10/06/2025: All good until the sauce accompanying the mixed fried food.. all night with the heaviness of garlic on my stomach. Good job the dining room staff for helping me, but I recommend writing on the menu so that the customer knows what's in the sauce or at least communicating it to the table.
07/06/2025: Polpo Mario is a historic place, full of charm and tradition. The authentic atmosphere is combined with excellent cuisine, where fresh fish is the absolute protagonist. Each dish is carefully prepared and delicious. The staff is always friendly and professional, making the experience impeccable. A must-see for those who love true Ligurian cuisine!

Over the years it has evolved both as a location and as a menu! Homemade appetizers, the choice of appetizers varies. The pan pizza is particular, I recommend the unti e bisunti with a nice glass of red wine. Kind and prepared staff
