21/11/2025: Crossaints & Coffee we're good, hot chocolate is the worst I had, smiles from staff were non existent.

19/11/2025: Extremely rude staff. I walked in at about 19:45, not realizing they were closing soon. I was just looking around for the menu when the lady with dark hair, who was cleaning the espresso machine, suddenly started slamming things around. Banging the machine for no reason, knocking over tools… looked more like she was trying to break the machine than clean it. I went up to ask when the shop closes, and she didn’t say a single word. Just held up 8 fingers. I asked again, a bit confused, and she repeated the same gesture, now staring at me like I had just shoplifted something. The energy was so hostile, I just turned around and left. A few moments later, she stormed out of the shop, threw some trash bags to the ground, and muttered something under her breath. She was visibly angry. I get that maybe she had a bad day, but that doesn’t justify acting like this toward customers. I never even got to try their drinks, and honestly? After that kind of treatment, I’m not planning to.

22/11/2025: A typical Roman trattoria in the village of Genzano overlooking the lake. Visited on Sunday, November 3rd. The owners take care of the kitchen and table service. It seats only 18, making it an intimate and welcoming place. Excellent traditional local dishes. Recommended.

10/12/2025: Very nice and welcoming place. A wide selection of unique and delicious spritzes, at a fair price and of high quality. Ideal for an alcoholic after-dinner drink, even if it's not in good company. 🍹✨

20/10/2025: This is undoubtedly my favorite restaurant in Ostia. It's located inside the Stagno Park, a truly pleasant location, also suitable for families with children. The food is good, and the waiters are extremely kind and professional: they really do their best to accommodate their customers' requests. Another plus is that the restaurant is open during the holidays: at Christmas and New Year's, they offer a nice menu at a fair price and organize evenings with live music. Personally, I'd think it would be nice, at least for New Year's Eve, to add a small prize or extra detail to make the evening even more special. There are, however, some aspects that, in my opinion, could be improved. For example, the desserts aren't always up to par: the Caprese, in particular, I find a bit dry, and the ones listed on the menu aren't always available. Table availability is also worth considering: even though I'm a regular, if I don't book in advance, I rarely get a seat, as it's often full. Furthermore, the restaurant only offers takeout and pickup, but does not offer home delivery through platforms like Deliveroo or similar. Another small point worth mentioning is that the Fork app is no longer available. While no discounts were offered there, it was still convenient for booking and earning points, which is an added bonus for regular customers. Finally, I noticed that in the past they offered small discounts for loyal customers, but now they don't. It's nothing major, but such a gesture is always appreciated and, in my opinion, it makes those who return often feel valued. Overall, however, I recommend this place for its overall quality, the courtesy of the staff, and their attentive service, even during the holidays. I think a fair rating is 4 out of 5 stars.

24/07/2025: We stopped by Sa di Tappo somewhat by chance, as it's close to where I'm temporarily staying. What a wonderful and unexpected discovery! We ate and drank very well, and the owners treated us like friends. The place is also delicious! Highly recommended, and we'll definitely be back!

06/07/2025: Unfortunately I can't know if it was good. I called to reserve two seats on Saturday evening, the lady who answered the phone with a laconic 'hello' (without even saying the name of the place) first told me no then called me back to tell me that there were two seats. happy I told him we were coming but when I said I had two dogs he suddenly told me he could only put me outside. I said yes but when I arrived, having never been there, I found myself on two high stools and a barrel as a table (nice if you didn't have two dogs that on the stool is not the best). on the sidewalk practically on the road (I thought there was a veranda). at that point my wife said we were leaving because we didn't want to eat in the middle of the smog, the answer was goodbye without even looking at us. (I would like to point out that there were three free tables inside and they didn't seem to be booked) 1 if he didn't want us he could have avoided making us get there (clearly he didn't want dogs, it was enough to say so on the phone) 2 I think that a person with such empathy perhaps shouldn't do this job. I'm sorry because making a criticism is never pleasant, the place seemed nice but this attitude is really ugly and senseless. of course we won't return and we don't recommend it.

14/12/2025: A place for lunch. Cramped. Standard Roman service, calm and friendly. The food...not up to par. The salads are probably good, but if you're going for the entrees, it's not up to par. First of all, they don't make gricia, which is a serious problem for a restaurant in Trastevere. If I'd switched to the carbonara, I would have thrown it at the chef... it was loose, runny, and tasteless... an affront to Roman cuisine. There were a lot of us, and no one liked it. Prices are high for the quality. Only go there if you're on a diet...

07/12/2025: Disappointing considering the 4.5/5 Google rating. The food tasted like something I could have made at home: a bland risotto (we added half a jar of Parmesan to give it some flavor), and the pasta with pesto was just okay (overcooked and tasted like supermarket pesto). We liked the lasagna a bit better, and the house white wine was good. It's similar to a Vinho Verde, like the ones they make in Portugal. The service was fine; there weren't many customers.

23/11/2025: The coffee is mediocre and the service leaves much to be desired. The only good thing is its proximity to Piazza Navona.

15/11/2025: We celebrated a birthday dinner at this restaurant, and it truly felt like stepping into a beautiful Italian film. We sat outside, surrounded by the most charming atmosphere. The food was outstanding — I especially loved the focaccia, made with dough that had been rising for 72 hours. A huge thank you to Elena, our wonderful server from Ukraine, who made the evening warm, fun, and unforgettable.

She not only helped me choose, but also recommended an excellent sparkling wine, a glass of beer, and an incredibly delicious focaccia—everything was perfect. Such attention, care, and professionalism are rare. The best service I've ever received in Italy! 💫

21/10/2025: It's near my house. I go there almost every Sunday for breakfast. Everything is fresh and delicious. The staff is very kind and attentive. If you like Sicilian cannoli, I recommend trying it. Also, the mini cannoli with Scantelli cream.

04/12/2025: This is the definitely my favorite restaurant. The food was absolutely phenomenal. We had: - cuttlefish with burnt lemon jus - seafood 8 - mix pasta with seafood soup - catch of the day The staff was also very nice and the service was quick.

18/11/2025: I love fish. I just want to make that clear. I even love fish more than most. That said, having 10+ fish dishes, including welcome dishes and pasta made with fish eggs instead of chicken, was just far too much. Not nearly enough variety, very one-level, one-flavor. We could not finish the tasting menu. That said, the service was impeccable and the decor and atmosphere were top notch.

14/10/2025: The place is very nice. Aside from a wait that was almost unreasonable, given that the place was empty and we had a reservation, we were welcomed in. They set up tables for us that were close together but separated to facilitate the flow. We even had to wait a few minutes to order. We mainly ordered sandwiches and beer. The beer was very good, and everyone loved the sandwiches, which were freshly prepared. I must say that mine, despite being topped with jalapeños, wasn't too spicy, and I actually appreciated the flavor of all the ingredients. Aside from a bit of a wait at the beginning, the service was smooth and without too much of a wait. The 3 for service is mainly due to the initial wait. Everything else is a 4/5.
