07/06/2025: Ok place, neither good nor bad, it has a vast but under-valued line of taps, it is easy to find some of the beers they have on tap also in cans, ending up being a bit redundant, and above all reducing the sense of vastness that can be given at first glance, furthermore the fridge has almost only cans from a single brewery (a brewery which is also just a few minutes walk from the place), ok place for someone looking for a casual drink, but certainly nothing exciting for those who are perhaps more intrigued by the sector

03/06/2025: It’s the only bar in the area that attracts people, so I’ve been there often in the evening, just to have a drink in my hand. The service has always been slow, but I justified it because I had to work on the weekend. The prices are high for the quality, but it’s the only choice and, to be honest, it’s not that bad. Today, in the terrible heat, I walked past and decided to sit down to have a cold drink while talking on the phone, not in Italian. The waiter noticed and, speaking in English, told me that they open at 6:00 PM. It was promptly 5:53 PM and everything was ready, the staff sitting at a table drinking soft drinks and no other customers. I asked if I could stay and be served after 6:00 PM, but he told me that I had to leave and come back at opening time. I found this rigidity absurd, especially with the heat and the place ready and for only 7 minutes….. Where was I supposed to wait, under the sun watching them relax in the shade? Never again, not even for a bottle of water.

11/05/2025: I celebrated my birthday here and I found everything I was looking for: courtesy, availability, delicious beers and cocktails and also excellent music to accompany the evening.

02/06/2025: This is very much a local’s spot in that it seemed to comprise entirely of local people (pretty cool to find as a solo traveller) but it also seemed they weren’t that keen to make new friends, which is fair too. Decent drinks, cool decor, and seats at the bar still make this place a fun stop on your tour of Rome!

26/05/2025: Really very good products and always fresh considering the number of people who go, fast service and reasonable prices, we spent 18 euros for two and we took two sandwiches, one with porchetta, chicory and dried tomatoes and one with sausage, burrata and truffle, then half a litre of Romanella, water and Coca Cola

19/05/2025: What a gem! This restaurant is delicious. The seafood appetizer was fresh and so good. The mussels were tender, the fried baby octopus was delicious, the shrimp was an incredible bite of food. The star of the show however was their Orechiette L’Isola d’Oro (€20). It was a beautiful truffle cream sauce with shrimp and squash blossoms coating perfectly cooked orechiette. Worth. Every. Dollar. The portion was also huge, and we struggled to finish one plate between two people. It has been our favorite meal so far. Truly delicious and I cannot recommend it enough.

15/05/2025: I had an incredible dining experience at L'Isola d'Oro in Rome. I ennjoyed the seafood platter, the seafood rice and the pasta with shimps and truffles, was exceptional -rich, aromatic and beautiful presented. The staff was friendly and attentive. I highly recommend L'Isola d'Oro for anyone looking to indulge in high-quality seafood and authentic Italian flavors. A truly memorable culinary experience!

13/06/2025: Nice place, rude and inefficient staff, poor service, arrived at 19:30 ordered 19:45 at our request, at 21:00 still waiting to receive the ordered pizza. The fact that you do not see that I urged the waitress for my order, this means that you were not present I can indicate the person to whom I made the order and the lady I made the reminder.

10/06/2025: The place inside is very nice, rustic style, large and airy. We had lunch based on fish, all fresh and well cooked, a little under salted but perfect for us. Exceptional chicory. Very polite service even if decidedly slow, not suitable for a quick business lunch. Large outdoor parking lot. Average prices. If the opportunity arises we will gladly return.
