07/12/2025: We're enthusiastic longtime customers; every time we come to Rome, we dine at Osteria dell'Ingegno. Our latest experience wasn't particularly positive with the service. The dishes didn't arrive all at once, but were scattered around. For four people, bringing one dish at a time while other dishes were being prepared shows little attention to the guests at the same table. When the soup arrived, it was cold... so we waited for a soup, the dish of the day, which arrived late and unheated, after other dishes had arrived first. We believe there was some problem in the kitchen because the girl in the dining room understood and apologized, while the kitchen hadn't understood that the dishes at our table were supposed to come out all at once. When paying, I informed the gentleman at the cashier, who could only say... "I'm sorry." A real, small gesture demonstrating empathy toward customers—not just our longtime customers, but all of them—would have been appreciated. P.S.: Top desserts, fantastic panna cotta.

16/12/2025: This is my absolute favorite patisserie in Rome. I've been there a few times and tried a bunch of their small desserts, and honestly, every single one was delicious. Plus, the service was super warm, which is a nice bonus.

03/09/2025: I love this little shop more than any other glossy restaurant; here you'll find authentic flavors! Let's start with the buffalo mozzarella, undisputed white ladies of high quality and flavor. Just a bite is enough to see the milk draining. The porchetta is definitely the queen of the table. Crispy, flavorful, and golden. Just like the old days! Don't miss the prosciutto crudo, flavorful and bold. A prince that always comes with a rustic loaf of bread, a longtime recommend! Olives, vegetables in oil, and cheeses are the perfect setting for a fairytale lunch inside a shop—or rather, a fairytale castle. Where each character is the common thread of flavors and authenticity of good food. The place has wooden tables inside, comfortable benches, and a bathroom. 🏰🧚‍♀️👑👸🤴🍴

09/12/2025: Visited for a business lunch. Impeccable service, courteous and friendly staff. The dishes were beautifully presented, and everything was delicious.

06/12/2025: The prices are a bit higher, but they're justified by the good quality food and the service, with professional waiters (these unknown ones) tending to the table. For me, it's a thrill to experience the attentive service. I'd rather pay a little more, but... chapeau!

16/12/2025: Discovered after a museum visit, an intimate corner of Rome even though it's right in the center. Excellent service, warm hospitality, and a refined menu, including vegetarian options. I will definitely return on future trips to Rome.

28/08/2025: When you go for a walk, a run, or just to breathe in the fresh air... it's almost a must, even a pleasure, to stop at the Bar della Pineta. It's a historic and traditional place where you can enjoy cold drinks, aperitifs, delicious sandwiches, or a delicious breakfast. Worth a visit.

14/12/2025: Good Roman cuisine, excellent service, a slightly chic, rustic, old-fashioned Roman atmosphere, but still beautiful. A little too far from the road, but perhaps that's precisely why it's convenient. If you're in the area, definitely try it.

12/12/2025: Two incredibly salty carbonaras that we barely touched. The stuffed pepper was very salty, and the coppa was overly flavorful (we don't know how they were seasoned, because the seasoning is a secret and he wouldn't tell us). We didn't know if there might have been anything that would have caused an allergy. The owner and the restaurant manager were truly unfriendly and unprofessional.

14/12/2025: The food and coffee were good. However, the service was not ok for us tourists. They gave us our coffee without mugs but takeaway cups instead. Which was a shocking difference because locals did receive proper mugs. If you are paying 3.50 euros for a latte I expect to not drink it from cardboard!!!!

The place is quaint and well-maintained, the staff is courteous and never intrusive, the first courses are excellent (the rigatoni with oxtail sauce is highly recommended) and the pizzas, classic Roman-style, thin and crispy. The outdoor area is a gem, with a terrace offering a magnificent view. Special mention goes to Manuela, who is always available for any requests.
