23/04/2026: It was Easter Sunday evening. Attracted by the name, we asked for a table without a reservation. We sat down, and already sensed confusion about the service... those are the aspects that make the difference in a restaurant, in a dinner... The menu... people who arrive after you order. We weren't told they were serving a restaurant, just a pizzeria (which we didn't want). When we were ready to leave, paying for the bottle of water, we asked the kitchen if it was possible to bring out two first courses, which looked quite simple... tagliatelle with wine, pancetta, and pine nuts. The other first course was also decent. Let's forget about the side dishes. We ordered two, but when we arrived at the table, we were told they didn't have what we ordered. We made do with something else. I didn't enjoy the food at all, except for the friendliness of the person (owner?) who came out to us once. The pizza was definitely the highlight, but if you're a restaurant, you can still tell us what's in the kitchen for Easter dinner.

06/04/2026: Easter Monday lunch for €30 Appetizer, 2 main courses + grilled meat and baked potatoes Beautifully presented food and above-average portions. I didn't expect to leave so full for such a fair price. Recommended for those visiting the town of Alatri, especially the Acropolis.

05/04/2026: A very nice bar with friendly and courteous bartenders and owners. You can find everything from breakfast to lunch to aperitifs. Excellent quality wines and prosecco. They also offer payment services for bills, stamps, etc.

18/01/2026: It was Sunday January 11 Closed at about 2 PM. I don't know when they're open other than Sunday lunchtime. Since it's opposite the Rocca, a tourist attraction. Evidently they open for residents. A choice.

16/03/2026: Working nearby, I'd heard good things about the place. This morning I decided to try it; I have to say, the cappuccino is truly excellent. I chose the cookies, one salted caramel and the other gianduja, both delicious. The carrot cake was good. The place: small but tastefully decorated. The price: fair for the quality of the products we tried.

10/05/2026: I was really disappointed by my experience at this café. I originally wanted to order a small item that cost around €1, but the staff member seemed unwilling to serve me unless my friend also ordered something bigger, like a cappuccino. The whole interaction already felt uncomfortable and unwelcoming. Then, after that, he offered me a strawberry tart to “taste,” which clearly sounded like it was complimentary — especially given the situation. At no point did he mention there would be a charge for it. But when the bill came, I discovered they had added €4.50 for the tart without telling me beforehand. It felt misleading and dishonest. If something is not free, customers should be told clearly before accepting it. Between the attitude about my order and the surprise charge, I definitely wouldn’t recommend this café.

09/05/2026: The restaurant is located in one of the most beautiful places in Italy, where the courtesy and kindness of the staff add value to the beauty of the place.

11/01/2026: Apparently of good quality, in my opinion it's not satisfactory for the price paid, only partially justified by the location. The quality is unquestionable; it's the rest that weighs on the judgment.

23/04/2026: Unfortunately, even though the service was excellent—the staff were all extremely friendly—and the location was excellent, I have to give the property one star for value. There was noise both inside and especially outside day and night, and finally, the bed had a very hard and uncomfortable mattress.

31/08/2025: I've been there several times and always had a good experience, but on my most recent visit (August 2025), unfortunately, the evening was quite disappointing: there were eight of us and we ate practically as if we were two separate groups, as we were served in batches, and that alone would be enough for a negative review. Furthermore, the pizzas were all burned on one side, a sign that they were never turned once in the oven. And the drizzle of oil at the end was missing, which isn't a quirk, but an ingredient. Very bad, then; I hope things improve.

12/07/2025: Great experience! The platter was generous and truly delicious, featuring high-quality ingredients. The spicy fries, kindly offered, were a pleasant surprise. The pumpkin focaccia was delicious. The staff was friendly and attentive, and recommended an excellent red wine. The chef works in the open kitchen, with great skill and speed. We'll definitely be back!
