08/01/2026: I was really surprised (negatively) by the bill. I bought six pastries for €9.50, a price I find truly excessive. The pastries are sold individually, not by the kilo.

02/09/2025: Terrible. 80s-style beach with plastic placemats on the tables. For lunch, we requested two basic dishes: a simple caprese and a prosciutto and mozzarella. Mozzarella (Vallelata) and prosciutto (Vecchio), no Parma ham as stated on the menu. The dishes arrived covered in foil because they were picked up in front, probably from their hotel, when it would have been better to say that day, we're closed for lunch! I would certainly have appreciated them. But I also want to leave out the lunch, (and the foil), something I've never seen in a restaurant, because lunch, for once (the first and also the last), was disappointing, that can happen. But the most shocking thing, the reason for the following review, was the request for a ten-minute phone charge, which was even charged to the receipt! Maybe, I could admit it in Costa Smeralda, but not in Ladispoli with its dirty sea, unclean beaches, and beaches I'd like to, but I can't. Nope! Best regards

22/08/2025: We celebrated our son's birthday. There were about 50 of us, including children and adults. The staff was professional, kind, and helpful. Daniele and Andrea were fabulous. We had a wonderful time, the food was excellent, and we felt right at home. What more can I say? Thank you so much from Giuseppe and Giorgia, and Flavio, the birthday boy. We highly recommend it.

30/12/2025: A beautiful and welcoming place, but it's unthinkable to sell a first course like the one we were given. In theory, it was supposed to be paccheri with octopus, but the octopus was only the idea... An idea that was paid handsomely. What a shame!

01/02/2026: The location is very beautiful, but the service was terrible! The prices are too high for what they offer. For example, a tea costs 5 euros and comes without lemon or anything else, and a spritz during aperitivo costs 10 euros without even an appetizer. Customer service is zero.

25/02/2026: This is a museum cafe, so temper your expectations. However, the patio in a sort of garden like setting, with very relaxed and slower service, with a surprisingly robust menu… it’s awesome. There are menu options for most tastes and while it’s simple, they do offer full meals. I had a pastry, espresso, and salad with bread… all were perfect. Come for the vibes and the relaxation, have some patience and enjoy the offerings.

24/02/2026: We arrived for an aperitif. The setting was refined, with excellent cocktails and a very pleasant atmosphere, but it was difficult to get to because it wasn't directly connected to the museum... and I wonder why?

08/02/2026: I returned tonight after years. Aperitif with friends. I've known the place since it was actually a dairy; I used to come there after school with my classmates. The place is undoubtedly beautiful. It evokes the previous version, but obviously more refined and contemporary. The service staff were inattentive: they kindly let us occupy a reserved table for a short time (which was fine, we had other commitments later) but then they dawdled before coming to take our order. The wines were average, the price was the same, BUT to accompany the three glasses (for three people), they served us: a small tray with 4 olives and another with 2 taralli. They looked better by not giving anything. I won't go back; I prefer to remember the huge mugs of milk and chocolate (Nesquik-style) with the "ciavattone" of yesteryear.

28/01/2026: Overpriced, with limited selection and sloppy service. This is an increasingly common problem in Rome.

07/03/2026: Excessive prices is an understatement, service was not present as we ate inside the bistro and not in the tavern, let alone if we had lunch there, we took 2 simple tomato pasta dishes, a plate of sautéed chicory, a plate of peppers and aubergines au gratin + a portion of parmigiana 60 euros we did not take wine. For 60 euros prices out of the norm. Never again
