03/12/2025: Recommended by a dear friend, it exceeded expectations. Giuseppe, the manager, was able to recommend the best of the day and made the dinner a delight. Prices were reasonable for the quality of the food. We'll definitely be back!!!

At Taberna, you eat and drink like in few other places (and I'm not just talking about Civitavecchia), so go and try it! 17/10/2025: My wife says you can only review a bar-restaurant after drinking and nibbling at the bar, but without eating at the restaurant. I, on the other hand, believe that a good start to a good day begins in the morning, and I give Trevisiol Cose buone dal forno five stars after simply having something to eat at the bar, sitting down. A decaf Zimill cappuccino, a large cup of barley coffee, and a dessert enough for two. All excellent. Total: nine euros and sixty cents. One of the bar-restaurant-takeout's strong points is its large, open-view oven. The staff is helpful and cheerful. The service is quick. I copied that next time we'll come for dinner.

09/10/2025: A few stars just for the kindness of the gentleman at the snack counter. The lasagna was inedible... salty and meatless... a pile of thin slices of "pasta." And then... a mini portion to go cost almost 8 euros... Work only with elderly people who obviously can't leave... Never again

30/11/2025: On the recommendation of friends, we also chose to have lunch here yesterday, reserving a table. What can I say? Everything was excellent, starting with the courtesy of the staff, and the promptness from ordering to the delivery of the dishes. We chose traditional tortelli and dessert. If we return, we'll definitely stop here again.

18/11/2025: Historic bar with a spacious terrace on a lovely Parma street, ideal for a refreshing drink after a stroll. Service is sparse, prices are average.

07/10/2025: Avoid. Unwelcoming and rushed servers. Tasteless ricotta ravioli, which arrived almost cold. Saltimboca alle Romano: a tasteless slice of leather. Polpetta al sugo is tasteless. Tasteless sepia ragout and undercooked pasta (and I'm of Italian descent). To top it all off, the coperto wasn't listed on the menu.

02/10/2025: Two of us had stomach aches an hour later, and more. A glimpse into the kitchen and bathroom suggests that it's not particularly clean. Unfortunately, the food wasn't great either. The place has great potential.

04/11/2025: Delicious pastries for 40 years. A few years after my previous review, I must unfortunately note that the mini pastries are no longer what they used to be. I've bought them a few times, and even if I eat them no more than three hours later, having kept them in the refrigerator, they're already gone, with flabby pastry and cream or almost sour cream. You can't sell old pastries, because it's not just a question of money, but because it takes away a joy you wanted to bring home to celebrate. Not Schettino, at least the old one. After 40 years, I'm forced to change pastry shops.

26/10/2025: We sit at the table, convinced that, like in all bars in Rome, there's table service, a waitress next to us chats with some customers. We wait, 15 minutes. She doesn't even look up, just keeps going about her business, as if she were paid to talk about hair color and vacations. Finally, I get up and ask if there's table service, since other people had been served while we hadn't. She replies, "If you want table service, come in and order it." This place used to be a beautiful bar, now, besides being old and sad, it's also run by people who have no customer service whatsoever. Well, move on.

07/09/2025: The only gelateria truly open late, THANK YOU! We come from far away, so many flavors, so good, and sometimes even bigger. The best thing is their whipped cream topping.

02/09/2025: €3.50 for a miserable ice cream, three flavours, a lick of ice cream, but for goodness sake, I would never recommend it again, and let's not talk about the shop assistants, if you tell them one thing they understand another.

29/09/2025: Located in the Pigneto area, but away from the busier streets, I expected lower prices and a bit more originality. Instead, it's a fairly standard pub in terms of layout and decor. The food isn't bad, but it's not particularly noteworthy either in terms of flavor or the stated quality and origin of the bread, meat, etc. A bit overpriced! And I had to pay for some mustard on top. The staff was average, but they seemed to be there just to make ends meet and earn their living. I don't think I'd return. Draught beer is a bit pricey, even considering the area.

02/09/2025: Terrible. 80s-style beach with plastic placemats on the tables. For lunch, we requested two basic dishes: a simple caprese and a prosciutto and mozzarella. Mozzarella (Vallelata) and prosciutto (Vecchio), no Parma ham as stated on the menu. The dishes arrived covered in foil because they were picked up in front, probably from their hotel, when it would have been better to say that day, we're closed for lunch! I would certainly have appreciated them. But I also want to leave out the lunch, (and the foil), something I've never seen in a restaurant, because lunch, for once (the first and also the last), was disappointing, that can happen. But the most shocking thing, the reason for the following review, was the request for a ten-minute phone charge, which was even charged to the receipt! Maybe, I could admit it in Costa Smeralda, but not in Ladispoli with its dirty sea, unclean beaches, and beaches I'd like to, but I can't. Nope! Best regards

22/08/2025: We celebrated our son's birthday. There were about 50 of us, including children and adults. The staff was professional, kind, and helpful. Daniele and Andrea were fabulous. We had a wonderful time, the food was excellent, and we felt right at home. What more can I say? Thank you so much from Giuseppe and Giorgia, and Flavio, the birthday boy. We highly recommend it.

08/12/2025: Cozy place, good food, but the wait is an hour for a plate of cold cuts. I think the staff should warn you that if you choose pizza, it will arrive in 5 minutes, but if you choose dishes from the restaurant, it takes forever. I'm sorry, but I don't think we'll be back.
