29/03/2026: Everything is always excellent, but there is a flaw and I can't help but warn you out of respect for your psychological balance. Eat the pizza, enjoy the courgette flowers, drink the excellent Guinness on tap, put your finger anywhere on the menu and go ahead, you won't be disappointed, but woe betide you, woe betide you poor things, stay away from the Nutella shovel, it's sneaky and alluring but it's addictive like nothing else in the world :) :)

Exceptional local cuisine! First courses with fresh pasta, fregnaquanti porcini mushrooms and sausage, and fettuccine asparagus with guanciale and pecorino cheese. Delicious meat-based second courses. Delicious house white wine. A unique, evocative location, created from a medieval underground cistern, retains its stone walls and an exposed washhouse from a later period.
01/03/2026: Excellent trattoria in Segni, a beautiful village in the province of Rome. The restaurant is located in the historic center, very close to a beautiful medieval loggia. It's a charming place, where you dine immersed in history. The food is truly excellent, reasonably priced, and the staff are very friendly.

10/06/2026: By far the best restaurant in Rome, for food quality, service, and location. It exudes history but not sloppiness, with old-fashioned service that's absolutely relevant and deserves to be taught in any hotel management school. The mortadella, made in-house, is excellent. The selection of seasonal vegetables is a rarity these days. The fried food is exceptional, dry, and flavorful.
After countless visits for their fresh pasta, this time I opted for a Milanese, much better than many I've had in Milan itself. The tiramisu and zabaglione were exquisite.
Kudos to the staff, who are qualified, friendly, and extremely attentive.

Prices are based on multiple "packages" (aperitivo, aperitivo, or individual bruschetta).
Location located in a small square.
Relatively quick and friendly service, "fraschetta" style.

09/03/2026: A nice place for a high-quality aperitivo, with plenty of choices on the menu, both in terms of food and drinks.
They sometimes have packaged gluten-free bread available, which you can use to make portions of your aperitivo or bring along with your platter without bruschetta, etc.
Good service; given its popularity, they sometimes struggle on Saturdays, but during the week, everything is fine. If you want to go on the weekend, you must book.

09/06/2026: Man behind the bar is incredibly nice, and I was enjoying his music a lot! I saw he enjoys Dire Straits, and it reminded me of another bar in Japan where the owner also loved Dire Straits and coming here was such a surprise seeing that, that I will remember this and his kindness forever! Grazie mille signore! Rock on!
