29/08/2024: August 2024, for a walk along the canal with the family, we decide to stop in this place for lunch. Due to the weather, a storm seemed to be brewing, we decide to sit inside. All in all the place wouldn't be bad. Here the first warnings that it would not have been a satisfying experience. From the centralized air conditioning grill placed on a false ceiling above the tables, drops of condensing water were shot every few drops, I suppose, which fell almost everywhere on the tables. The glasses, especially of the wine, they were "all" badly washed with residues. Even looking for them clean on the surrounding tables was a challenge. But we realized it after you had spilled some wine, now consumed... Ordered two first courses and a mixed fry, the fry had to say valid. A fisherman's risotto, not convincing, meanwhile served in a melamine (plastic) dish... overcooked, with a decidedly watery sauce, the scampi present fell to a pulp as soon as you touched them, several closed clams and others with broken shells to split the teeth. But the apotheosis comes with our daughter's dish, who wanted to try the "carbonara", the classic one, not made with fish. I warned her that perhaps it wouldn't be a wise choice to order it in these areas, as we are from "Rome"... and in fact... I can understand that even here, not everyone does it the same way, but here it was of a real culinary crime. Instead of bacon, bacon (but it's... wanting to be)... but it was raw! And then... icing on the cake... ONLY PARMESAN!... I tried to ask for pecorino, at least to add it on top...but the waiter probably from BANGLADESH (no complaints, let's be clear) was impressed by the "strange" request. He seemed to have asked for something alien...They didn't have pecorino in the kitchen. Also asked to the owner who actually made a face as if he too was surprised by the request. But I say, don't put a dish like that on the menu if you don't know it! In the kitchen other staff I believe are always from Bangladesh (always nothing to complain about, let's be clear) but I understand the many errors... On the bill, we find, among other things, a good 8 euros for half a liter of white wine. I think what is described is sufficient.

An added value, which is not insignificant, is the presence, under the rooms, of the BERTANI RESTAURANT restaurant where, in addition to the morning breakfast, you can have lunch (and on some evenings even dinner), with extraordinary products and a super efficient and extremely friendly staff. . Everything really fantastic!

15/08/2024: Purchased 5 croissants and donuts, asked to put everything on a cardboard tray for convenience. One problem, they wanted to put everything in one bag. Only after yet another request and support from another waitress did they accept the request. Too bad for the lack of elasticity and kindness because the products are very good.

23/08/2024: This tavern was a pleasant discovery made during the trip home from holidays. The dishes offered are good and genuine and the raw materials are truly excellent. I don't agree with some previous comments about the service - the waiter was absolutely kind to us and it was a pleasant lunch. Account in line with the offer. We will gladly return!

17/08/2024: C’era una volta i 4 bar, c’era una volta Peledo un posta dove regnava competenza, accoglienza e gentilezza. Cos’è rimasto ora? Gente maleducata che non ti considera, personale che si dimentica le comande, tempo d’attesa biblico nonostante il locale sia semi vuoto e clienti malfamati. Che dire.. dopo anni, a mai più. Meritate di chiudere.

05/08/2024: a waiter dripped some cocktail on my boyfriend's clothes without apologizing, chicken nuggets were thrown on the table without caring about the dishes already on the table, haste in collecting the dishes (as if that wasn't enough, the same waiter did dropping the leftovers that were on the cutting board on the floor, under our table, again without apologizing). You feel excessive and out of place, practically unwanted. For the rest, the cocktails and food are quite good, the aperitif platter should be filled with more cured meats or other dishes.

21/07/2024: An institution for every age group for those who frequent the historic center. I appreciate the fact that they are ready to handle from simple coffee to graduation party.
