12/09/2023: Il locale è carino ed ubicato nel centro del paese. L’arredamento è ricercato e curato. Il personale è giovane e "smart". Il menù è vario e ricco di piacevoli alternative. I cocktail sono davvero buoni e i prezzi nella norma.

15/08/2024: We returned after last year's good experience, always during the August holiday. This year, however, everything has turned upside down. In the room the air conditioning only worked partially, because otherwise the electricity meter would trip!!! The first courses arrived after over 1 hour and 30 minutes of waiting and the same fate happened to several other families. For the Sorrento gnocchi the sauce was overcooked, almost to the point of burnt. The dining room staff became confused due to the constant complaints of the diners and the table service worsened.

14/08/2024: I've been missing for a few years, unfortunately it's no longer the restaurant it was some time ago, with a sharp decline in dishes, everyone. I'm sorry because it was an icon in the area. I won't be going back again.

18/06/2024: The Grand Hotel Salerno enjoys a strategic position in Salerno: quite close to the centre; near the ferry boarding pier for the coastal direction Amalfi/Positano; very close to the bus terminus for the coast and also close to the station. The quality-price ratio is not favourable. The hotel is clean, a little neglected externally: the greenery at the entrance is dry and poorly cared for. The rooms are of medium size, but in my case (I had booked a double room with sea view) I was assigned a room with 1 double bed and a single bed positioned in front of the wardrobe. To use the wardrobe you had to use one narrow passage and stand in profile. The sea (cost €20.00 more) is visible through a balcony window, where it is not possible to look out due to the contiguity of the frame with the railing. The mattress is of excellent quality. The bathroom has a bathtub. There are no handles near the sink to place towels and toothbrushes. The air conditioning is centralized and cannot be adapted to personal needs unless the reception intervenes from time to time. The breakfast is truly 5 star, both sweet and savory, and also vegan. It is equipped with underground parking until exhaustion which is a solution to many situations in Salerno. It's a shame because it's a beautiful structure and could be a flagship of the city!

18/06/2024: I stayed just one night in this hotel overlooking the sea and very beautiful on the outside and in the common areas. To tell the truth, from a 4 star (and for the price) I expected a slightly more comfortable room. Nice and very simple, well air conditioned, slightly "old" style furniture, normal bathroom (without professional hairdryer or courtesy kit). There was no minibar, but 2 bottles of water made available on the table. All in all I had a good time, but there is no comparison with other hotels of the same category.

11/08/2024: Pastry shop with high quality raw materials. I had the pleasure of tasting both a strawberry macaron and a pineapple granita, and I can say that the fruit tasted very good. The croissants are also good. I also saw some sandwiches that I didn't try.

08/07/2024: Last night I went to Tiffany's to get an ice cream and it was a very satisfying experience, first of all the place was beautiful and very welcoming, the waitress who served me was really super friendly and the ice cream was magnificent, the cup was the same as the photo on the menu. I can't wait to go back

11/08/2024: 34.50 two mojitos (bitter, I've had better), a soft drink and an iced tea, to eat only peanuts and pretzels. We had seen some pizzas, we asked why they weren't given to us and their answer was "by draw". They told us to wait and they would bring them to us but nothing, so we left. Not recommended

20/08/2024: I just had a beer at this place while waiting for dinner. I just feel like saying PERFECT. These are the places I like: without too many pretensions, super efficient and kind guy, relaxed environment. 5 stars are few

20/08/2024: Comment on the restaurant only. Pizza - average, at best Service - painfully slow; took over half an hour to get one pizza. When asked about the order, was told “you order one pizza, others order two, three”. How unprofessional and rude Attitude - See above. Also when asked for drink list, was told there is none, but ask him. When asked for the no -alcoholic drinks, showed his frustration, seemed exasperated being asked for details. Was recommended the place by tour guide. Forgot the old saying of following recommendations of tour guides. Big mistake. One star given for a very average pizza. Zero for everything else. Sure there are other restaurants with better attitude.

18/08/2024: We ate at this restaurant I will try to find positive things to say unfortunately apart from the location I can't find anything positive. We took 2 pizzas as well as a 3-course lemon escalope, bordering on inedible, for a total of €96. Let's not talk about the waiter who served us, who gasps when we ask him for water, a real slap in the face throughout the service. We didn't stay long because we were in a hurry to leave.

14/07/2024: Metto 1 perché 0 non è possibile. Sono andata lì con una decina di amici a fare colazione al momento di pagare ognuno ha voluto pagare il suo conto e la signora inizia a infastidirsi perché non vuole farci pagare separati con la carta perché “è un problema nostro”. Ci manda a quel paese (per essere fini) tra uno scontrino e l’altro e sorpresa finale avanzano delle cose da pagare che nessuno aveva mai ordinato. Lei e la cameriera grandissimi maleducate. Sconsigliatissimo

13/06/2024: A comida do restaurante é maravilhosa, assim como o pão do couvert e sobremesas (tem uma sala com vários tipos a escolher). Porém, os preços são exorbitantes!! Foi o restaurante, que conheci em Capri, mais caro. Fui à noite e, tive a certeza, que só vale a pena ir durante o dia. Como é a beira mar, tem uma vista panorâmica, mas, à noite, não dá para contemplar. Acho que o restaurante, por ser um beach club, tem uma procura muito grande durante o dia, mas à noite, super vazio; deveria compensar nos preços. Além do mais, para quem está hospedado em Capri é bem distante, fica em Ana Capri, não no centro.

13/06/2024: Talvez seja bom durante o dia, à noite não vale a pena. Muito caro para o que oferece, restaurante simplório, longe para quem está em Capri. A comida é saborosa e o restaurante é vazio no jantar.
