16/10/2025: A traditional shop with the best pastries in town. The tiramisu and ice cream are simply heavenly. The owner is very attentive and friendly.

11/08/2025: Great ice cream, excellent even. Lots of unique flavors you won't easily find elsewhere. Mandarin and fig were delicious. The staff was also friendly. But the cones are made of edible cardboard. That's not what a good ice cream parlor should be.

08/11/2025: Precooked,,,, and I've said it all! Uncooked ingredients... Cheese not even melted... I buy it frozen, it's quicker and I spend a lot less, really awful.

19/01/2026: The only blemish on our honeymoon was the restaurant. The owner or waitress was incredibly rude. I even wondered if it was racist. When I was paying, she snatched my money away and spoke angrily. It's been a year since we returned, but I still get angry when I think about this place. I went because of the good reviews, but the food was just okay.

18/09/2025: This pub is really beautiful, neat, and clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. But they really need to improve on the food... the fried food is very greasy, the sandwiches are good overall, but the burger is small and dry, with little flavor. Ample parking outside.

09/03/2026: We had lunch outside with the sewer smell and asked to move inside where the smell was even worse. We asked for two appetizers that we wanted to share for four, but we only got one each. The pizza was full of oil and made their way with poor-quality ingredients, and I was stuck with a bottle of water for the rest of the day. The blonde lady and the owner are really unpleasant. It was my second visit in years and the pizza was unbelievable. Afterward, I remembered why I avoided going there. Highly not recommended.

02/03/2026: Terrible service with inattentive and uninterested staff. The food wasn't particularly fresh (the mussels in the peppered dish were smelly, the provola in the mixed fried fish...). Information about the ingredients wasn't exhaustive (the fried pizza with ricotta and Cigoli also included sauce without mentioning it, and since sauce is normally NOT used, the surprise wasn't a pleasant one). The only exceptions were the seaweed zeppole, which were good, and the Aglianico wine, bottled, of course.

24/01/2026: €5.50 for half a slice of stale, bad-tasting Red Velvet, taken to-go. And they were smart enough not to cut it in front of me. Professionalism is also measured by this. I will never go back.

09/11/2025: A terrible dinner that will make us never return. We've often gone there for Sunday morning breakfast, and already on that occasion we'd noticed the change: a more sloppy and less well-kept place than usual, with poor service. But we wanted to give it another try by going for dinner. There were four of us, and we ordered fairly simple dishes, and even though the place wasn't crowded, we waited forever to eat. What's even more annoying is when two sandwiches out of four arrive at the table, and basically two of them eat while the others watch the whole time. And then you find out that in the meantime, they're busy with the takeout order as if it had priority. But the worst part was that despite the endless wait, my sandwich arrived incomplete. After pointing this out to the waitress, she immediately added the missing portion. When I finally took a bite, after a while, I noticed that the bread crust at the bottom was chock-full of burnt onion. A bread that was clearly contaminated due to the lack of attention they took in preparing it. What if I were allergic to that ingredient? Obviously, I had to call the waitress back, who promptly offered to change it and get me another. But from that point on, it was just another wait. By then, the other diners with me had finished eating, and after over half an hour, I ate practically alone. An absurd disappointment. I also wanted an apology for the inconvenience and the wait, but instead, everything went by as if it were normal. What a shame.

30/12/2025: Decent bar, excellent location right in the center, just steps from the seafront and the historic center. I preferred it a few years ago; it was a popular meeting place for locals.

28/12/2025: I don't want to leave a negative review but a suggestion for improvement, especially during periods like the holidays when Salerno is full of tourists. Yesterday I took some friends from Naples to see the lights and told them that this was a very famous bar in Salerno. Unfortunately, the staff member working at our table told us "no, we don't have a menu because the guys forgot to put the QR code," so we only had one for tea and hot chocolate. She didn't apologize in the slightest, but it doesn't matter. Maybe she forgot with all the people there. I asked for a Hugo Spritz, but in the end they only brought my friends' drinks because they didn't have mint or other ingredients, and in my opinion, not having ingredients for drinks is the biggest mistake for a bar like the former Zerottonove. However, afterward I ordered an iced tea and it was brought to me immediately. The appetizers we ordered weren't bad, but almost all of them were filled with cooked ham, which not all of us, including me, could handle. There wasn't much variety, and practically none of us wanted ham, so we ate almost nothing, and I had to remove it from the pizzas to eat something because it was literally everywhere. In fact, we ended up ordering two extra bags of chips. Thanks anyway for the welcome and the service. A few mistakes are forgiven and understandable given the number of people. ☺️

28/12/2025: We went for one evening, Saturday night. It's a shame there was a football match on, and we all ended up having to watch it. It's fine that it was on TV, but with the volume so high, it felt like we were at a stadium. We paid €20.00 per person for an appetizer that wasn't good quality. The pizza and sandwich were better.

03/09/2025: I've repeatedly found waiters and staff distracted when it comes to the bill...mistake after mistake, and no one ever knows anything. Today I was with three other friends. We had two iced teas (€3.50 per person) and two iced teas with granita (€4 per person) (from the menu). We should have paid a total of €15 (already a rip-off). I get to the cashier and the bill is €21. I ask for an explanation, and they justify it by saying it was a mistake caused by a colleague who had finished her shift. Another time we ordered 4 ice creams without looking at the menu or the prices (a huge mistake), specifically 2 ice cream cones and 2 cups (with 2 scoops of ice cream)...total 32 euros...once we asked for an explanation, they justified themselves by saying it was a mistake and that the total should have been 25 euros...4 ICE CREAM...(8 euros for the cups and 4.50 euros for the cones). Sky-high prices and zero honesty. I don't recommend eating here. If necessary, carefully check your receipt first, which, as I repeat, is often full of "errors."

03/03/2026: One of the best sushi I've ever eaten. Since I'm not from the area, I came to Cava specifically to try the sushi here, especially for the wide selection of gluten-free options. They have a dedicated gluten-free selection on the menu, including fried food, from shrimp tempura to uramaki. I'll definitely be back. The all-you-can-eat dinner with wine and water was excellent, and we spent €40 per person.

02/08/2025: Another place that has lost its charm. Tables very near to each other, behind me waiters kept passing like on a motorway hitting my chair every time. The prices have increased so much: a plate averages 50/60 euros. Portions are generous though. You need a mortgage for a wine, where the least expensive glass is 18 euros. At a certain point the waiter collected bread from the table without even asking if we were still eating it. Puzzling. The crowd used to be so stylish and now there’s so many loud tables. Food is good, but not exceptional, in fact rather forgettable. A free frozen limoncello at the end is a nice touch.

27/07/2025: Tuvimos un buen almuerzo en este encantador restaurante junto al mar, cerca de la Grotta Azzurra. Lugar muy concurrido, pero súper servicio y muy buen rollo. Matteo nos cuidó muy bien. Para empezar, la ensalada de langosta para compartir era muy bueno, el pescado como principal ok. Las vistas increíbles. También había una tienda emergente Dior y club de playa adjunto. Gran selección de vinos. Postre buffet inmejorable. Música en vivo, súper agradable. Asegúrese de que el restaurante pida un taxi antes de irse. Reserva necesaria.

04/01/2026: I went to this pub because they had gluten-free options. I came back because all the food was delicious. There were 12 of us and everyone was happy. The atmosphere was beautiful, for my taste, and the staff was super knowledgeable and friendly! (Thank you so much, Martina, your super-efficient waitress.) If I have the chance, I'll gladly come back here!

12/10/2025: We arrived at Ristorante Di Giorgio almost by chance, looking for a quiet place to spend our last hour in Capri before catching the boat. The place was completely empty, but the setting was pleasant and the initial service was decent. It was quite windy that afternoon, so we decided to stay a while and order something light: two pizzas. The menu prices are reasonable for the area—especially considering the view and location—although they charge €4 per cover, which is important to keep in mind. The pizzas had good flavor, thin crust, and were cooked properly—not spectacular, but adequate. What was awkward was the ending: when we got up, the waiter quickly came over to ask if we had left a tip and lifted the napkins to check the table. It was a very awkward gesture, especially since, with a €4 cover charge per person, we assumed the service was included. Despite that detail, I wouldn't say it was a bad experience. The place is quiet, with reasonable prices and good food, but the insistence on tips took away from what could have been a much more enjoyable moment. 💡 Helpful Tips: Check the cover charge before ordering; it's already included in the bill. If you're going for a quick pizza, this is a convenient option near the center.
