27/09/2025: Terrible service! My friends and I went to this bar in the immaculate piazza for breakfast. We went to the counter to ask for croissants, but the bartender repeatedly became rude to us and refused to serve us croissants, constantly telling us to sit down and order. Once we were seated, we sat for half an hour without a waiter. At that point, we decided to leave. Disastrous experience. Never again.

27/09/2025: I visit this place every now and then; however, when I came with my friends to order, the lady behind the dessert counter invited us to sit and wait for the waiter, before we'd even had time to place our order. So we sat down and waited for over half an hour, with no one showing up. Then, a lady came by, quickly grabbed a croissant, and sat down next to us. We wondered why she was able to order immediately, while we had to wait so long. In the end, we were forced to leave, as we wouldn't have been able to have breakfast otherwise.

15/08/2025: A few days ago, I brought some friends over, and before the pizza, I ordered some fried food, some of which didn't absorb the oil. Paying €2 per person for the cover charge, just for cutlery, seems a bit excessive. I should point out that the pizzas were good👍.

03/09/2025: This afternoon my girlfriend and I went to the Gran Caffè San Marco bar for an aperitif and I have to say it was a terrible experience. We sat outside without being greeted at all, and after about ten minutes a hasty waiter took our order. After another 10 minutes, the bartender behind the counter, whom I could see from my seat outside, shouted out our order because they had absentmindedly forgotten two very common drinks. I was forced to shout out our order again because none of the staff bothered to come over. After another 10 minutes, our order arrived with some very poor quality bagged chips, the Aperol Soda was completely wrong, it seemed like drinking simple slightly sparkling water colored red and the Virgin Mojito tasted like toothpaste and the presentation was very unpleasant, we didn't even finish our drink, after a few sips and a cigarette we went to pay, we paid 13 euros for an aperitif in a bar overlooking the street with unqualified staff hired from the street, maybe they also have a "great coffee" but we definitely won't be stopping by to try it!

03/03/2025: I often went to karaoke there and I can say that I always had fun both for the music and the courtesy of the staff... Unforgettable moments.

13/10/2025: The guy was very rude; maybe he stood up on the wrong leg. It was the first time I'd encountered a rude person in Naples. The cappuccino was too thin and cold. When I politely asked him to reheat it for me, he made it piping hot out of spite.

30/07/2025: Everything is good, but if you order porchetta, they brought me meatballs twice, but you can forgive it.

10/10/2025: Good place to pick up coffee before meeting the Viator tour at the Starhotel. Croissant is not your typical, it’s just dough. Coffee is decent, but then again, haven’t had a bad cup in Napoli. Only positive is the the location. Otherwise, I’m sure there are better.

23/09/2025: Many people complain about the food, the service, but we cannot join them. When in Amalfi, we ate there, and had a couple of (very good) Limoncello Spritz. We found the pizza to be fine for our taste, and the service was very good, too. In fact, the waiter had a quiet, comfortable attitude, which we pleased us: We were not talked into ordering anything we did not like, etc. ADDENDUM: Now, after having been to many other places in Naples and around (incl. Amalfi), I must revise the previous overall four-stars to five. We can safely say that the Limoncello Spitz at La Dolce Vita was the best, in comparison to the many others we had. So +1 point from us.

18/09/2025: Good, fast, and attentive service. Expensive for the small portions they serve. The spaghetti was tough and tasteless. The seafood was small for €25. The lasagna was very good, highly recommended.

25/04/2025: Non posso fare una recensione sul cibo perché non ho potuto assaggiarlo. Abbiamo prenotato un tavolo per cena, arrivati all'orario previsto, abbiamo trovato il locale strapieno, ci siamo rivolti ad un cameriere che in evidente imbarazzo ci ha indirizzati al gestore, il quale in modo molto sbrigativo ci ha chiesto di aspettare che ci avrebbe dato il tavolo appena se ne fosse liberato uno... ?? Ma che modi sono? Se pensi di non poter assicurare un tavolo non accetti prenotazioni. Se il cliente pensa di avere un tavolo riservato è evidente che non deve poi trovarsi fuori dal locale in piedi ad aspettare, altrimenti che senso ha prenotare? Nessun rispetto per il cliente Siamo andati a mangiare nel locale vicino, abbiamo mangiato bene e siamo stati serviti subito

14/10/2025: I discovered it thanks to the breakfast deal with my accommodation. It was absolutely excellent: quality products, a wide selection, and friendly staff. In addition to the breakfast voucher, I purchased other products to try, all excellent.

28/09/2025: A classic pastry shop where the products are more beautiful to look at than delicious to eat. Rather disappointing.

17/08/2025: Frankly, as a Neapolitan, I'm ashamed of these tourist traps. I scan the menu, choose a beer for €4.50, and it's calculated at €6.00, justifying the fact that they served me a beer that's not on the menu. It's clever, artificial, and beer is served poorly. Anyway, €29 for nothing. Naples is a thousand and one frustrations. When the zizzinella leaves...

11/08/2025: Not the original place, seems the sell that place and everything is changed. Not worth of visiting

04/10/2025: Terrible, a tourist trap. Poor cleanliness, rude, inexperienced waiters. High prices for poor food and service. They're very evasive about prices and don't provide receipts.

11/09/2025: Pasta has to be eaten with plastic cutlery. The waiter tried to cheat us out of €5. The food wasn't tasty, and I wouldn't go back. (The €2 cafe is also cheeky.)

25/09/2025: Seeing the Calise reduced to this state is incredibly sad, an abandoned and desolate place. It's possible there's no entrepreneur who can take it over...

22/09/2025: I visited the one near the port of Casamicciola, welcoming staff, we sat at the tables outside, excellent croissants along with cappuccinos, prices a little high for the offer on offer
