20/04/2025: I really wanted to try a traditional Neapolitan pastiera recipe but unfortunately I was quite disappointed, the filling was awesome, tasty and fresh, but the dough was too crunchy for my taste, while cutting the pastiera in slices it crumbled and I expected it to be slightly tender. I have to admit the prices raised but the tradition is slowly getting forgotten.

25/06/2025: Place to avoid if you don't want to be bothered! My friend and I were bothered repeatedly by the "owner" of the bar (or at least that's what he called himself) of a certain age, with compliments and inappropriate phrases over and over again. A moment of relaxation turned into an annoying and insistent situation. Girls, don't come!!
17/06/2025: It was not a good experience in a beautiful area like this, a waiter (it's already a lot to call him that) very indiscreet to the point of putting in difficulty people who obviously go to relax and not give explanations or have their woman bothered. Stay away.

06/06/2025: I booked a room here at the refundable rate (you must pay in full up front), and spoke with Tania via e-mail. She was response, give a few days, and very helpful. However, a month later when I unfortunately needed to cancel the entire trip due to a personal situation, I received no response to multiple e-mails asking for the refund. It has been weeks with no response. Be aware that even though there is a refund policy, it seems they do not honor it.
18/05/2025: In the Boccacelio room, it was impossible to rest because of the noise of a motor that ran 24 hours a day (it was like sleeping next to a kitchen extractor fan). Contact with the hotel management was only via WhatsApp. They were very, very sorry but offered no solution or compensation.

Both at the counter to have a chat with the guys who work there but also outside under the porticos, sitting at the table for an aperitif and enjoying the beautiful view of Piazza Plebiscito and the sea from afar ... ❤️❤️❤️

15/05/2025: Un Gran caffè ai massimi livelli con prodotti d'eccellenza e personale ai massimi livelli. Atmosfera unica e dettagli del locale da lasciare senza fiato. Anche il conto lascia senza fiato ma comunque in linea con l'offerta e la magia del luogo. Chi passa da Napoli deve comunque andarci, ne vale la pena!
15/05/2025: Jösses vilket stroppigt ställe. Servitörerna som hade koll inomhus i stora rummet var så sjukt otrevliga.
Vi var ett stort sällskap på 9 personer varav 2 barn. Barnen ville såklart ha glass från glassdisken så vi reste på oss och gick och betalade och hämtade. Detta för att gelato inte fanns på menyn.
När vi väl betalt och fått vår glass och skulle sätta oss med de andra som drack kaffe och åt dessert, blev vi avvisade trots att vi påpekade att vi tillhörde gänget där inne.
Glassen fick ätas ute. Kul. Nej.

12/06/2025: Nice place, a wood-fired Irish style pub pizzeria, sandwiches that you can choose how to make and they also added poke sandwiches, it was their specialty in the last period, the attention in preparing them has dropped a bit, I'm very sorry
24/05/2025: Saturday night ordered at 9.30pm a cutting board and 10 pizzas arrived at 11pm, the cutting board at 11.15pm. The surrounding tables arrived later, were served earlier and left.

11/06/2025: I stayed in Naples for a weekend and discovered it by chance while walking with my cousin along the street. We had such a good time that we stopped by two nights in a row to have a post-dinner dessert. We found good desserts at a great price. The staff was very kind and helpful to us, so much so that I was shocked to read some negative reviews addressed to those who work there, they probably changed the workers (?) ... in any case for us it was a more than positive experience

08/07/2025: I've been visiting Ischia for over five decades and have enjoyed countless wonderful meals along the Porto. Unfortunately, my recent visit to Ristorante Emiddio—just to the right as you arrive in Ischia Porto—was my first truly negative dining experience on the island.
Although the food was "ok," the bottom line: Ristorante Emiddio was a scammy, disappointing experience. There are far better options along the port.
Do yourself a favor—keep walking.
03/07/2025: Horrible place! They charged us 16 euros for bread and didnt mention about the price for Langostine. They just want to rip you off!

25/05/2025: We waited 2 hours to be served, the guy who I think is the owner asked us for 7 euros more on the bill and then changed his mind when we pointed it out to him and gave us back only 3 euros. The sandwich arrived after three hours with 50 grams of hamburger and with really poor quality products. The only good thing were the fries. The staff is unpleasant and the place is grotesque.
24/05/2025: never order from this kind of "sandwich shop" if it can be defined as such, they answer the phone with absurd arrogance not even to apologize or to be kind since my order never arrived .... ordered on just eat result delivered but I have not received a damn thing, I can't even get in touch with just eat customer service to get my money back from these scammers who don't want to know anything.

12/06/2025: My mum, sister and I have just enjoyed a few days in Vico Equense. We found this restaurant to be one of our favorites. My mum was in a wheelchair which can be awkward but they were so helpful. The food was gorgeous, very traditional Italian. They were always so busy and the staff work so hard, nothing was ever a problem. I would definitely recommend you book to avoid disappointment.
23/05/2025: Poche parole: sono stato molte volte in questo ristorante vecchia scuola, piatti tipici della cucina mediterranea e una grande qualità e selezione di pesce, riesce sempre a mantenere lo stesso livello nelle sue preparazioni. In sostanza se volete tradizione e qualità è la scelta giusta!
