21/07/2025: Gran lugar para una buena cena en el centro de la ciudad de Amalfi, pero justo al subir las escaleras por la catedral principal que le da espacio lejos de los negocios de la plaza principal. Fuimos allí a cenar la primera noche en Amalfi y devolvimos nuestro abeto de ida y vuelta anoche. La comida era de lejos la mejor que tuvimos durante nuestra estancia en Italia. El aperitivo de pulpo (cocido lentamente durante muchas horas) fue el mejor pulpo que he probado. Los ñoquis de Nonna fueron los mejores ñoquis que he tenido (por suerte mi nonna no leerá esto). Están llenos de queso así que definitivamente para los amantes del queso. Mi compañero probó otra especialidad local, espaguetis con pesto de limón. Sin duda un plato muy único que disfrutó mucho (para los que les gusta el limón y la pasta). También probamos aperitivo de mariscos y fue impecable. El servicio era amable y acogedor y nos sentimos muy bien estando allí. Este sigue siendo nuestro lugar favorito en Italia y seguimos mencionándolo. Fue divertido, romántico, pero también un gran lugar para las familias.

30/06/2025: Gran lugar lejos de la locura de la plaza de Amalfi. A la sombra y menos mesas. Excelente comida excelente servicio muy amable. La mejor comida que he comido en mucho tiempo

25/06/2025: Terrible servicio. Nos sentamos solos durante los primeros veinte minutos. Luego solo de nuevo durante los últimos treinta. Por un mínimo de 300 euros la pareja, esto era inaceptable. Claramente piensan que son demasiado buenos para prestar atención a los clientes. Sobrevalorado en el mejor de los casos.

18/06/2025: La ubicación era genial. Ambiente agradable - destacar la música en vivo. Sin embargo - menú era demasiado restrictivo, el servicio tomó una eternidad, era extremadamente caro y la comida era deficiente.Sin duda tenía mucho mejor comidas a una fracción del costo en Positano. OMI, no vale la pena.

12/10/2025: We arrived at Ristorante Di Giorgio almost by chance, looking for a quiet place to spend our last hour in Capri before catching the boat. The place was completely empty, but the setting was pleasant and the initial service was decent. It was quite windy that afternoon, so we decided to stay a while and order something light: two pizzas. The menu prices are reasonable for the area—especially considering the view and location—although they charge €4 per cover, which is important to keep in mind. The pizzas had good flavor, thin crust, and were cooked properly—not spectacular, but adequate. What was awkward was the ending: when we got up, the waiter quickly came over to ask if we had left a tip and lifted the napkins to check the table. It was a very awkward gesture, especially since, with a €4 cover charge per person, we assumed the service was included. Despite that detail, I wouldn't say it was a bad experience. The place is quiet, with reasonable prices and good food, but the insistence on tips took away from what could have been a much more enjoyable moment. 💡 Helpful Tips: Check the cover charge before ordering; it's already included in the bill. If you're going for a quick pizza, this is a convenient option near the center. The service is decent, but be prepared for possible awkward gestures if you don't leave an additional tip. 🍽️ Summary: ✅ Quiet place and good location. ✅ Tasty pizzas and reasonable prices. ❌ High cover charge. ❌ Awkward attitude from the staff at the end.

12/10/2025: Superlative restaurant. Amazing first courses. Quality ingredients. Smiling, accommodating, and knowledgeable staff. First and foremost, our super Giorgio. 18/08/2025: The digital menu has prices, then you get a higher-priced receipt. Saltimbocca on the menu we looked at is €4. The receipt arrives for €7. Then they bring you a paper menu with completely different, higher-priced items. They messed up an order four times, so some of us ate late. Coffee, love, never again! Bye!

26/07/2025: If I could...0 stars would be too little. The staff was rude and arrogant, with a guy who looked like he'd been out of bed for 10 minutes, still under the influence of some kind of narcotic. We sat down and ordered two macchiatos and five chocolate croissants. The bar was at its lowest, and it took 20 minutes for the breakfast to arrive. Instead of five croissants, they got three croissants and two chocolate brioches. They didn't even have the courtesy to ask what I wanted since the croissants were out (and at 9 in the morning, you're out of croissants... ugh). We asked the waiter, who responded in an arrogant and presumptuous manner... ehhhh, the croissants were out. Anyway, we left, having only had the two coffees. We sent the rest back to sender. Not recommended both for the welcome and the wait...very long.

23/10/2025: A pleasant evening aperitif. The Spritz was good, and the accompanying appetizers weren't the same: the rustici/panzerotti weren't the best, but overall, it was a good experience. The atmosphere was lovely and the welcome was warm.

11/09/2025: I was passing by. The waiter was friendly and professional. The gentleman at the cash register was brusque and not at all empathetic. I had an iced coffee. €2. Really exaggerated... I'm sure he raised the price because he heard the accent... Typically, the price is €1.20 or €1.30. Not even in Milan do they have prices like that. Whoa!!!

21/09/2025: Not fresh seafood. Very disappointing and unsafe experience. I ordered pacchero with squid that tasted strange.Even though I ate very little, I was soon hit with severe stomach pain and diarrhea. My partner (who only tried one piece) also got sick. We both felt very weak for the rest of the evening with strong stomach pain. Seafood here is clearly not fresh nor handled properly. Be careful if you value your health – I would strongly advise avoiding this place.

21/09/2025: What was that even? After 30 minutes, I had stomach cramps and was desperately looking for the nearest toilet. My girlfriend had to sit down and wait out her abdominal pain. I barely made it home without a disaster in my pants. The pacherro with squid was inedible, it stuck in your throat. Good thing the wine and bread masked the taste a bit. The location and the owner are the best things you can say about this place—everything else is a mess. We drank the wine and water, and I’m happy to pay for those, but the food? There should be a refund for that. Someone in the kitchen clearly doesn’t care how their work affects the restaurant’s reputation and should take responsibility. It was my first time trying seafood, and I really wanted it to be fresh and tasty so I wouldn’t be put off. As of today, it was my first and last time. Never again, sadly. The owner was very polite, but the food—something’s definitely off in the kitchen.

13/11/2025: Oh no, that's just not the way it should be. And a regular customer says so. Yesterday, we weren't offered any snacks with our aperitif, not even the sad little bags of crisps they've been offering lately. Usually, you expect at least a couple of olives and taralli, but there weren't any. When I asked, the waiter, as if he were doing me a favor, replied annoyedly, "Two peanuts at most," and with that, threw two bags of peanuts on the table. Folks, learn to welcome from those who know how, and cherish the few November tourists, for arrogance doesn't pay.

03/11/2025: I received some mini pastries as a gift from this pastry shop. The creams and mousses were delicious...so good!!! Each pastry is a unique experience. I hadn't heard of it before, and I hope to visit you one day...I'll be coming to visit you from Mestre.

06/10/2025: At 10:00 they're out of any kind of croissant. I thought it was a nice bakery, but I was wrong.

02/08/2025: Another place that has lost its charm. Tables very near to each other, behind me waiters kept passing like on a motorway hitting my chair every time. The prices have increased so much: a plate averages 50/60 euros. Portions are generous though. You need a mortgage for a wine, where the least expensive glass is 18 euros. At a certain point the waiter collected bread from the table without even asking if we were still eating it. Puzzling. The crowd used to be so stylish and now there’s so many loud tables. Food is good, but not exceptional, in fact rather forgettable. A free frozen limoncello at the end is a nice touch.

27/07/2025: Tuvimos un buen almuerzo en este encantador restaurante junto al mar, cerca de la Grotta Azzurra. Lugar muy concurrido, pero súper servicio y muy buen rollo. Matteo nos cuidó muy bien. Para empezar, la ensalada de langosta para compartir era muy bueno, el pescado como principal ok. Las vistas increíbles. También había una tienda emergente Dior y club de playa adjunto. Gran selección de vinos. Postre buffet inmejorable. Música en vivo, súper agradable. Asegúrese de que el restaurante pida un taxi antes de irse. Reserva necesaria.

01/11/2025: I've been there often in recent years. It's a meeting place for friends. The owner is a nice person, and the waiters, when they're good, are too. I've spent some pleasant afternoons there.
