04/10/2025: We ordered an appetizer alla Luciana, which included marinated anchovies, croquettes, bruschetta with tomatoes, and seaweed zeppole. Everything was delicious, and luckily the bread in Campania is salty. For our first course, we had gnocchi alla sorrentina and spaghetti with clams. The spaghetti, although good, had tomato sauce and was slightly spicy, so it covered the flavor of the fish a bit. They were a little rude at first, but then became more friendly and easygoing. It probably had to do with the time we arrived (around 10 PM). Although Google says it's open until 1 AM, they actually started clearing out around 11 PM while we were still at the table—not very polite. One flaw is that the photos on Google aren't entirely accurate; the restaurant and dishes are quite different from the real thing. We paid €16.70 each, rounded up because we paid by card. Overall, it's okay for a quick meal.

26/09/2025: It's kinda funny seating in a Neapolitan restaurant if you don't eat seafood, but we still enjoyed the experience, which felt like a very authentic one. The food served has strong, oily tastes, and fills you up quite quickly. A good place to go to if you want to get a grip of what the regional cuisine is like without shilling too much for it. I'd recommend the gnocchi alla sorrentina.

22/09/2025: A wonderful experience. Excellent welcome with a smile from G. The sauna was nice to use, and they turn it on upon request. The room is a bit dated, but it has a lovely terrace overlooking the river. It's a shame there's no garage for my motorbike, but having it at the back of the building, under the balconies, I felt safe. The half-board dinner was good and plentiful, as was the breakfast. I would definitely return. The price was more than fair. Thanks to Gloria and the whole family

09/10/2025: Beautiful place, but for 2 Campari Spritzes WITHOUT an aperitif = 20 euros. Having been there for 20 minutes (around 3:00 PM - place empty), I paid 2 euros per minute. Without food. Definitely needs improvement. In Milan, for 10 euros you get a 5km-long buffet and you're in a place that struggles to find you a seat ;)

07/10/2025: Bar Umberto is a historic location in Salerno's nightlife. It has always been a favorite haunt for locals, from a simple coffee to delicious dishes.

23/10/2025: I went without a reservation at the start of lunch and ordered pasta and polpo since they said they could serve for about an hour. In conclusion, this is one of the best restaurants. During my 32-day trip, this place and the Salerno restaurant were the best. The famous seafood stew has gone up in price to 120 euros. I haven't tried it, but it seems quite expensive. The pasta price is okay after tasting it. I recommend making a reservation.

17/05/2025: Vabbeh, Maurizio e Angela sono un’ istituzione ormai per tutti coloro che abitano o lavorano nei pressi di via Trento. Sempre gentili e ospitali, per un caffè al volo o la colazione al mattino é il bar perfetto dove fermarsi a scambiare anche quattro chiacchiere in compagnia. La mia fortuna é averlo sotto il lavoro! 😉

23/09/2025: A perfect balance between modern elegance and Neapolitan tradition, this restaurant proved to be a surprising discovery. The atmosphere is sophisticated yet welcoming, with attentive yet discreet service. The menu reinterprets Neapolitan cuisine with technique and creativity, without distorting its authentic flavors. We enjoyed two excellent versions of cod: fried, crispy and light, and grilled, delicately smoked and served with vegetables and lemon oil. For the first course, tortelloni stuffed with cherry tomatoes and mussels: a simple yet meticulously executed combination that highlighted the sweetness of the tomatoes and the savory flavors of the sea. Each course was a tribute to tradition, presented in a contemporary key with balance and refinement. A sincere, satisfying, and distinctive culinary experience.

23/09/2025: The food was divine, and above all the waiter was very friendly, a real entertaining character, 100% recommended.

17/10/2025: Excellent panuozzo and pizza. Friendly and professional. The pizza with Nutella and hazelnuts is also excellent. Considering the location, I would lower the prices a bit.

29/09/2025: I absolutely do not recommend this place, especially for the prices: two horrible limoncellos with ice and a Sicilian cannoli not made on the day, 15 euros. But the thing that saddened me the most was the waiter. He treated us like dogs. Never again.

20/09/2025: This historic pastry shop is a wonderful world where anyone who loves sweets like me can't help but get lost. The charming shop feels luxurious, so well-decorated and cared for. The products are high-quality, and you can tell right away, but there's also so much to choose from. I've been to Naples often and have never missed the sfogliatella riccia, but the one I tasted at this pastry shop far surpasses them all. The gelato is also excellent. The staff were friendly, and the quality/price ratio was good. Not going there would be a sacrilege ;)

05/10/2025: Very nice place. Excellent food and reasonable prices. We come here often, even to the one in Mergellina. Healthy food in a truly beautiful setting. At Mergellina, where we were yesterday, they need to work on closing the missing windows before winter arrives. They might also need more staff.
