26/01/2026: My favorite neighborhood caffeteria. Wonderful pastries, excellent sfogliatelle, sfolla, cornetti... And great coffee! A shot or a beverage end of day makes this a great stop morning or afternoon.

11/04/2026: I rarely write reviews, but here we got exactly what we were looking for in Ischia. Traditional dishes, prepared traditionally. There were no trained waiters or forced smiles. It was a homey, cozy atmosphere and amazing dishes, "just like grandma used to make." No burgers, no fast food. Delicious peasant soup with porcini mushrooms, pasta prepared as if you were eating for yourself, not for a tourist, and amazing Ischian-style rabbit. Large portions at low prices. A truly atmospheric restaurant, preserving the traditions of local cuisine. Thank goodness such establishments still exist. Wishing you prosperity! And understanding customers.

01/05/2026: We have been to this restaurant 4x over the past few years. It used to be one of our favorites. Usually reserving a table for our last night in Sorrento. Tonight the food was just OK. My steak was overcooked. We were rushed out of the restaurant because they needed our table of 6. The waiter handling or bill came to the table twice for our bill before we finished our after dinner drinks. We told him we were not done after the first time and he came.back just a few minutes after. In and out in about an hour after spending over 360 euro. My tip reflected the rushed service. Seems like quantity rules now at this place rather than quality. And what was most aggravating was they allowed a guitarist prance around the dining room playing and singing loudly, at your table in your face. And when he was done he came to the table holding a his hat for a tip for the bad loud music that you didn't ask for which ruined your table conversation for 10 minutes. Are you kidding me? I felt like I was on the circus train from Sorrento to Naples. Incredible! Definitely not the high end classy place i remember from a few years ago

01/05/2026: First of all, Enzo is an amazing host!! Second All the seafood was completely fresh and beautiful, especially the squid which is not always the case! Highly recommend.

31/12/2025: Four Spritzes, three dry pastries, one slice of cake, and one orange juice for €75. This was crazy, a completely unjustifiable and unmarketable price. The quality was average, but certainly nothing to justify such a price. The lady at the cashier was also annoyed because we wanted to split the bill (by card, therefore with two separate transactions). Never again.

30/12/2025: Beautiful, clean place with super-friendly staff. The desserts are a feast for the eyes and the palate. Some are famous because they're on TV, and then there are master confectioners like Pepe who are equally impressive. I forgot, the coffee is excellent too.

09/03/2026: A lovely location with a lovely atmosphere. Excellent, high-quality food. Top-notch wines! The guys taking orders are friendly and knowledgeable. Ask them for advice, especially for wine. Worth a try. And we'll definitely be back!

14/02/2026: I'd never been to Vineria Altogrado, but for me, it's one of those places that makes you want to return again and again. The staff are courteous and friendly, the food is excellent, and the wine is carefully selected and recommended. If I haven't made myself clear, I'll be back, and above all, I recommend it.

10/05/2026: The hospitality at this place left a lot to be desired. Also, when we asked for the bill, I requested it from two different people and it took more than 30 minutes for them to bring it, even though some of the waiters were just standing around.

04/05/2026: Pleasantly surprised to find such a great place! Pizza was so good, super thin, fresh ingredients and fluffy crust. Didn't get the pasta, might go back to try! Ordered a glass of house red not expecting much but it was amazing! Patio across the road had nice street vibes at night. Service was great, patient and helpful!
