02/01/2026: Yesterday I visited this little bar with my girlfriend, nestled in the beautiful hamlet of Caserta Vecchia, and if I could, I'd give it more stars. Since it's the middle of winter, the roaring fireplace helped create a warm and welcoming atmosphere in this family-run bar. There's care and attention to detail, from the exterior decorations to the beautiful writings on the interior walls, and the inviting array of desserts that you notice as soon as you enter. The desserts are truly delicious, homemade. We ate a variety of desserts, but I absolutely loved the crostata, uniquely delicious and a generous portion. The family owners are very friendly and kind, and the prices are fair. There's a family atmosphere, a welcoming, and a warm welcome. I'll definitely be back. I recommend this bar to everyone; it's become a favorite place for me.

19/01/2026: Only high-quality beers. Smaller than other establishments, but unparalleled. CraiC is simply HOME. And that's only thanks to the owner, Luigi—who, with patience, attention, and kindness, has always treated our group with the utmost respect and professionalism.

18/01/2026: Super cozy and intimate, this UK-style beer shop offers a wide selection of craft beers in bottles and cans, plus a constantly changing selection of draft beers. There's a welcoming lounge with comfortable sofas and plenty of board games. They serve nachos with cheddar, hot dogs, and various sandwiches. The owners are friendly and kind; it's always nice to sit at the bar and chat with them. Highly recommended!

06/11/2025: Open Gate Hotel in Praiano was absolutely spotless, you can tell right away how much pride the family takes in keeping everything clean and customer first. You truly feel like you’re stepping into their home with how warmly they welcome and cater to guests. The on-site restaurant served some of the best dinner we had in all of Praiano. The breakfast that’s included is perfect, with something for everyone. There’s a great spread of American options but also an authentic Italian breakfast with fresh pastries, fruit, and local specialties that were out of this world. The location is really great. Its about a 10 minute walk to the marina, a bus stop right out front which Pasquale helped make sure we caught and a 5 minute taxi ride to the center or 20 minute walk. This was not my first time visiting Praiano but now I know about this gem. Between the view, the food, and the incredible hospitality, Open Gate Hotel made our stay unforgettable and I will be back.

28/10/2025: Amazing staff who were very helpful with everything. Clean rooms and hotel overall. The restaurant was also very nice, great breakfast. Stunning views from the room. Easy to get around on the Amalfi coast. The hotel was located on a busy main road, so the noise from the road was quite loud. However, this was not a significant issue for us. Overall we had a very pleasant stay and will definitely come back!

11/11/2025: This restaurant saved me from the salty European food cravings on humid days!! The food was just the right amount of salt and delicious. In Europe, we often eat outside on terraces, so it was unfamiliar, but fun! 😆

01/11/2025: Very bad experience in this restaurant. Staff not serious, we didn't receive what we have ordered and the waiter said just after "sorry we don't have what you want so we replace by this"... And at the next table an old guy was smoking. My wife had the smoke coming to her during the time we were eating. Even the next table complained... Horrible experience despite the sun and the sea.

30/01/2026: Dinner experience on Thursday, January 29, 2026. I was hesitant to eat there because, being winter and the hotel undergoing renovations, there was scaffolding at all the restaurant windows. Aside from the two of us, when we arrived at 7:30 pm, there was only one other couple and their child. So, I preferred to disregard the atmosphere, because if tourists don't go in winter, it's not their fault, and renovations are inevitable for all buildings. So, we sat down anyway. And we were very glad we went. Everything was perfect! The waiter started by offering us a plate of delicious little bites. Then, I ordered the "Ricardo menu" and was first served a seafood platter with an assortment of beautifully prepared bites! My wife started with the lemon risotto. She loved it. Then my zucchini ravioli were delicious, and my wife had a veal escalope with lemon, which she also enjoyed. We shared a fruit panna cotta and a cappuccino. All of this was served with impeccable service. Thank you. Grazie!

11/10/2025: Great lunch with an incredible view! The food is simply EXCELLENT and it's only outdone by the staff ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The two guys waiting on us on the terrace by the pool were ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! Kind efficient fast professional super friendly and went above and beyond Grazie per un pranzo che non dimenticheremo mai!!

16/11/2025: We came across this place on accident in Positano and we're so happy we did. The pizza and octopus were amazing, also tired some recommended dishes. The vibe is perfect, and the service is 5 star.

07/01/2026: We stumbled upon this place almost by accident... we were looking for somewhere near the B&B we'd booked in Benevento and close to the sights. We found the place using maps, looked at reviews, and social media profiles... and so we went in. Even though we hadn't booked, and the place was full, they set up a table for us right away... the courtesy and attention were exceptional. The food and cocktails were delicious, and we were treated to a complimentary glass of "Strega" at the end. If you happen to be passing through or staying in Benevento, Il Gnostro is highly recommended.

25/11/2025: Thanks rafaelle for the private cappuccino. It was absolutely delicious. Rafaelle was great company. From the outside it's hard to tell there is a coffee lab inside but he ran out of the store to greet us and let us know we were at the right place. Great place to buy coffee beans.

19/03/2026: Historic pastry shop and excellent products, but zero seriousness. Last month, I bought San Giuseppe zeppole for €5.00 each...not very fresh...definitely from the day before...this morning, I bought them again for €4.50...the price difference makes it clear they decide on the spot how much the customer has to pay...synonymous with a lack of seriousness...
