27/07/2025: A truly pleasant experience! I ate wonderfully: carefully prepared dishes, authentic flavors, and great attention to detail. The setting is perfectly summery, with a relaxed and bright atmosphere, yet still retains that touch of elegance that makes all the difference. The staff is kind and attentive, and it's nice to see the owners present and available. Service was quite quick, even when the place was full. A place where you feel pampered! Anna🌻

19/07/2025: Fantastic, "sardella" appetizer and homemade bread. A lovely shellfish-based first course and a nice glass of rosé.

11/08/2025: WARNING! The owner is ripping off tourists. He tells you the three dishes he's offering today, but you can't see the prices. But €20 for a plate of pasta is outrageous. When I confronted him, those are the prices he always charges... Generally speaking, the pasta was very tasty.

17/07/2025: The quality of the food is only surpassed by the owner's friendliness. Spaghetti with mussels and clams and farfalle with salmon, all the way. Thank you!!

09/07/2025: Very good place, low prices, tasty burgers. On weekends, it gets crowded at 9 p.m., so I recommend coming early. Friendly service. I recommend it!

And Peppino's pub, active since the 80s, is exactly this: a certainty, a guarantee, a symbol of quality and no-frills hospitality. Peppino is not just a manager. He is a decent, serious, professional person, who has always carried out his work with humility, without ever getting a big head - a rare thing, especially in an environment where success is often confused with arrogance. Honest prices, accessible to all, and a service that works: fast, smart, friendly. How can I forget Giovanna, a historic waitress, who every year I meet again with her usual smile. Seeing her is like coming home. And then there is that unique atmosphere, the one that only a place with years of history can have. From 6 pm until late at night, especially in the summer, this pub is a safe haven even in the most desperate moments of nighttime hunger – word of my daughter, who goes out with friends and knows she can always count on that good, fast, and humanely priced sandwich. Every time I return to Scalea, it is a fixed stop. And every time, it is as if time stops for a moment. Because there are places that are not forgotten. And people like Peppino who make these places unforgettable.

10/07/2025: Alas, I'm teetotal, but judging by the smiles on my friends' faces, I can tell they like beer. I can, however, vouch for the pulled pork... MASTERPIECE!!!

09/08/2025: If I could, I would give it 1,000 stars. Excellent brioches and ice cream. And the staff is extraordinarily kind. While on vacation in Locri with the kids, we discovered this place by chance and ate the best brioches here, most of the time hot straight from the oven. A quick note for the staff: We've tried brioches elsewhere, but yours are the best. I congratulate you on your work and also on your kindness. Not to mention the fact that we don't speak Italian, and you welcomed us with the same kindness and smiles as your usual Italian customers. Thank you, and also thank you for the free ice cream when I misunderstood what my daughter wanted. We're from Belgium, and that doesn't exist there. We order the wrong things, and we, the customers, are responsible. Congratulations again for your dedication, and we can't wait to come back next year. All the best!

Location surrounded by greenery in the splendid pine forest of Sellia Marina just a few meters from the sea, the wooden structures under which the tables are positioned are very cute (and not even a mosquito!) Very nice staff ready to put customers at ease and to satisfy, as much as possible, every request Exquisite dishes, excellent quality/price ratio ... And finally ... Ice creams that cannot be classified for how good they are ... Without a doubt we will return!

18/06/2025: The food is really good, there are cheaper places, but my friends and colleagues and I really enjoyed the food, the owner was very kind and good. The homemade liqueurs are spectacular, as are the chicken wings and the eggplant meatballs, they are foods that I recommend trying.

06/08/2025: Not entirely satisfied with this experience. The place is very large, and reading the menu is overwhelming. We waited a bit to order at the table. As soon as the ice creams arrived, we realized that out of five orders, two were incorrect. The portions were so huge it was almost hard to finish them, but unfortunately, the ice creams had no flavor whatsoever.

07/06/2025: The best coffee place in terms of price and quality. We took 4 coffees and 6 pastries and we paid around 12 euro. The service is amaizng, we came back the bext day and they remembered the coffee we order the day before. I hardly recommend the pastry with the chocolate cream that you see on my picture.
