14/02/2025: A wonderful place, the food is excellent and, above all, plentiful. The staff is professional and makes you feel right at home. There's a large play area for children, from toddlers to adults. It's definitely worth a visit.

28/07/2025: Review update after a year: still one star. It felt like they were doing us a favor by taking our order. They brought us frozen fries, and after we let the waiter touch them, he just said "Oh!" and left without returning. There were six of us, and we were shocked.

11/05/2025: I stopped at Pasticceria Bontà d'Abruzzo 🥞 on May 1st, finding it conveniently along the state road in Silvi. Even though it was a little late, I still found a decent choice of croissants 🥐. The ones we tried were really very good and tasty (in particular the one with the classic chocolate/white chocolate mix and the one with Chantilly cream). An extra point goes to the lady at the counter 🙋‍♀️, who kindly offered to fill the empty croissants on the spot.

27/03/2025: Passing through Ortona, excellent croissant and well stocked. At 11 am pass with different varieties of simple croissants (vegan, cereal etc.)

19/04/2025: Pranzo di passaggio con la famiglia. Locale sporco e vecchio. Un cameriere vestito in tenuta da calcio post allenamento, ci ha letteralmente tirato i menù. Grigliata carbonizzata. Verdure alla griglia riesumate dal frigo che non siamo riusciti ad assaggiare! Tutto il personale e parentela annessa che entrava ed usciva dalla cucina senza una divisa, un grembiule… esperienza da incubo.

01/03/2025: Su consiglio di un collega ci siamo fermati qui per pranzo, prima di andare sulla neve (cima Mammarosa). Una cucina autentica, dai sapori genuini. Pappardelle al cinghiale in bianco buonissime, così come lo spezzatino di cinghiale alle erbe. Molto buoni anche gli spaghetti alla chitarra con porcini e tartufo. Eccezionali gli arrosticini di pecora cucinati sulla loro brace. Anche le patatine fritte erano perfette, cosa che oggi non è così scontata da trovare nei ristoranti. Il prezzo è veramente basso, con gli stessi soldi ormai non ci mangi nemmeno una pizza in pizzeria. Da tornarci, anche per la gentilezza del personale. Complimenti!!

09/04/2025: Locale delizioso, accogliente e proprietà super disponibile. Cibo strepitoso, in particolare un "cappello del prete" meraviglioso! Locanda da non perdere.

02/04/2025: Accoglienza sempre calda e divertente. Efficientissimi in sala ,riescono ad essere veloci e perfetti. I piatti della tradizione abruzzese sideclinano in zuppe ,armoniose combinazioni di legume e verdure .Alcune proposte di carne non riecodono quasi l'uso del coltello e si sciolgono in bocca. Esci da questo locale ristorato e di buon umore E' uno dei posti che non puoi non frequentare

29/07/2025: Ottimo il cibo. Selezione di vini raffinata e variegata. Servizio gentile e attento al senza glutine con pasta fatta a mano. Finito il pranzo non abbiamo potuto fare a meno di riprenotare il prima possibile. Da provare

25/07/2025: Rovere per vacanze, consigliato da amica, sono venuta con marito per le famose pallotte, 🥴 ma martedì non erano nel menù quindi Cristina gentilissima mi ha promesso che oggi le avrei trovate, quindi tornata . Persone gentilissime, preparate cucina casalinga Top

05/05/2025: Pranzo del 1 maggio . Locale carino stile medioevale . Accoglienza e staff professionale e cortese . I primi piatti abbondanti , Ho assaggiato i ravioli radicchio e noci molto buoni . Le carni invece non mi hanno soddisfatto . Agnello troppo cotto e arrosticini cotti probabilmente sulla piastra e non sulla carbonella e il gusto non è lo stesso . Molto buono il servizio , attento e veloce .

15/07/2025: Siamo stati in questo “ristorante” domenica a pranzo, abbiamo ordinato 3 antipasti burrata con carne sfilacciata ed un piatto vegetariano. Dopo varie segnalazioni e richiami al personale per la lunghissima attesa e dopo ben 53 minuti arrivano finalmente i primi 3 antipasti freddissimi . La burrata era accettabile mentre l’ultimo antipasto cioè il piatto vegetariano arriva dopo altri 10 minuti ed era assolutamente immangiabile e pessimo. Così ordiniamo 3 tagliatelle ai funghi e tartufo, il quale non era altro che sugo già pronto dei barattolini da supermercato, ed un piatto di ravioli del giorno assolutamente insapore. Purtroppo durante il pasto ci accorgiamo che una delle tagliatelle avevano un capello lungo nero, così mandiamo il piatto indietro e senza scusarsi, dopo una lunga attesa di altri 15 minuti arriva il nuovo piatto. Purtroppo abbiamo perso 2ore e 30 minuti in questo brutto locale mangiando poco e con disgusto, rovinandoci una domenica. Sconsiglio assolutamente onde farvi rovinare un momento di piacere.

07/07/2025: Sono tornato dopo alcuni anni da Sabatino alla ferrovia, una buonissima cucina tipica! Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo, pasta fresca con ottimi abbinamenti. Consiglio assolutamente di provare questo locale. Ottime le pappardelle al cinghiale ed i gnocchi al ragù. Consigliato e prenotare per trovare un posto

25/04/2025: Don't take the Venetian if you suffer from gastritis...you will get sick to your stomach, don't go when there are people because they have little staff regarding my request to have a coffee and a sweet, since I had already been waiting for 15 minutes, if they came to take the order, I was told that there were only three of them working (on April 25th...and put someone else to work). What can I say, disappointment.

28/02/2025: Specifically, I have traveled through Italy during the years of my travels from Trieste to Porto Cesareo. I love Italy and go back several times a year. Over the many years of traveling, I have stayed in an incredible number of hotels, guest houses and various B & Bs. Since I myself work at a hotel and have been in the tourism industry for more than 20 years, I have always rated all my accommodations on Booking as a full 10, because they deserved it. I'll make one exception here and if I can't review on booking, I'll review here. I would like to point out in advance that the rating does not refer to the hotel's services or the quality of the accommodation, but is an assessment exclusively of the management. At the beginning of January 2025, I made a reservation on Booking for June 2025. Today I received a request from the hotel to cancel the reservation myself, because they are planning to renovate the hotel. I consider this action to be absolutely unprofessional, because the reconstruction is not planned from one day to the next, but is planned in advance (at least for the off-season and not for the summer). And when it was already known that there would be a period of reconstruction, they should have closed the online sales capacity of the rooms so that no one could make a reservation. Alternatively, plan the reconstruction from a certain period when there is no reservation and then the online sales capacity of the rooms is closed - this is the usual procedure. According to booking, this is the only hotel right in the city center of Civitella del Tronto, so I canceled the reservation because I wouldn't be able to stay there anyway, due to the closure. In a situation where you have everything planned, bought plane tickets, tickets for all trains throughout Italy (high-speed trains to Basilicata, back through Abruzzo and the final to Venezia), booked hotels in all cities, this hotel wants to cancel your reservation and it will completely ruin your travel plans, because apparently there is no other hotel in the city center of Civitella del Tronto. If the sales capacity on booking was closed, I would have made my vacation plans differently, so I have already lost a certain amount of money (at least for the trains) and now I am looking for an alternative solution. I hope that Mr. Zunica is aware that my cancellation of the reservation was due to my good will, I did not have to cancel the reservation and he would have to find accommodation in the same or higher category of the hotel in the given location, exactly according to the booking conditions. I do not recommend this hotel, the management's unprofessional approach will cause you a lot of extra worries instead of a pleasant stay.

14/01/2025: The room called the "grottino" is intimate and welcoming but you pay for the fact that there is no air conditioning. The staff should be more careful when asking the degree of doneness of the meat.
