28/02/2025: Specifically, I have traveled through Italy during the years of my travels from Trieste to Porto Cesareo. I love Italy and go back several times a year. Over the many years of traveling, I have stayed in an incredible number of hotels, guest houses and various B & Bs. Since I myself work at a hotel and have been in the tourism industry for more than 20 years, I have always rated all my accommodations on Booking as a full 10, because they deserved it. I'll make one exception here and if I can't review on booking, I'll review here. I would like to point out in advance that the rating does not refer to the hotel's services or the quality of the accommodation, but is an assessment exclusively of the management. At the beginning of January 2025, I made a reservation on Booking for June 2025. Today I received a request from the hotel to cancel the reservation myself, because they are planning to renovate the hotel. I consider this action to be absolutely unprofessional, because the reconstruction is not planned from one day to the next, but is planned in advance (at least for the off-season and not for the summer). And when it was already known that there would be a period of reconstruction, they should have closed the online sales capacity of the rooms so that no one could make a reservation. Alternatively, plan the reconstruction from a certain period when there is no reservation and then the online sales capacity of the rooms is closed - this is the usual procedure. According to booking, this is the only hotel right in the city center of Civitella del Tronto, so I canceled the reservation because I wouldn't be able to stay there anyway, due to the closure. In a situation where you have everything planned, bought plane tickets, tickets for all trains throughout Italy (high-speed trains to Basilicata, back through Abruzzo and the final to Venezia), booked hotels in all cities, this hotel wants to cancel your reservation and it will completely ruin your travel plans, because apparently there is no other hotel in the city center of Civitella del Tronto. If the sales capacity on booking was closed, I would have made my vacation plans differently, so I have already lost a certain amount of money (at least for the trains) and now I am looking for an alternative solution. I hope that Mr. Zunica is aware that my cancellation of the reservation was due to my good will, I did not have to cancel the reservation and he would have to find accommodation in the same or higher category of the hotel in the given location, exactly according to the booking conditions. I do not recommend this hotel, the management's unprofessional approach will cause you a lot of extra worries instead of a pleasant stay.

14/01/2025: The room called the “grottino” is intimate and welcoming but you pay for the fact that there is no air conditioning. The staff should pay more attention when asking about the degree of doneness of the meat.

08/02/2025: We were in this place on an evening dedicated to a cover band, the place was full of people, the only flaw was that there was only one person taking orders for the whole place, we had to wait an hour and a half to eat, the pizza is excellent and the menu is varied.

04/02/2025: My family and I went to eat pizza, chips and kebabs on Saturday evening, they were delicious, we also liked the beer we drank 🍺, the pub offers karaoke every week and I must say that we had a lot of fun... better to book because the place is always crowded, congratulations to the place ☺️ sooner or later we'll be back

23/03/2025: Very slow service, hot appetizers with little fish, miserable quantities even in relation to the prices, 4 paccheri with very little fish and generally not high quality, the dishes did not taste of the sea. In addition we had ordered paccheri with amberjack but they arrived with shrimp without even warning us..bah

16/03/2025: I went on Sunday 9th March in the afternoon at 4.30pm. I don't recommend this place only because of the unprofessional staff. The manager doesn't know what it means to hold the role. She answered me badly, telling me that on Sundays you have to be patient and there was no one at the checkout. They passed me by for a coffee. I asked for 1 prosecco. I waited. I'm going to pay 5 euros for flat prosecco. coffee????then he says ok today is Sunday we have to be patient...ok dear manager so on Monday we get prosecco on Sunday we get coffee????oh my goodness what an answer

02/03/2025: We were there last night to enjoy some very delicious pastries, the staff were very young but very kind and helpful and to conclude we were given a breakfast compliments to everyone and surely if we return from Montesilvano we will return

01/03/2025: the place isn't very comfortable but it's nice even if the food wasn't that good in fact it was disgusting then due to the time it took a long time for the food to arrive then they stopped the game on TV that we were watching with my friends and they played some not so good songs

22/02/2025: A restaurant in the center of Ortona that boasts an enviable sea view. We were pleasantly welcomed and accompanied to the table. The mise en plase was essential and sober. I was impressed by the dishes we tasted, which did not cover the flavor of the fish but rather enhanced it. For the second course, a portion of skate as a gift rating a nice 10. The chef combined oriental flavors with local flavors and the presentation was enviable. I highly recommend this restaurant.

03/03/2025: Locale incantevole sulle piste da sci, abbiamo mangiato molto bene, cucina semplice e casereccia ma gustosa (trsi di polente da provare) vino alla mescita discreto. Il costo è tutto somamto buono, il servizio efficente 4/5 camerieri per 20 tavoli. GIUDIZIO PIUì CHE POSITIVO

23/02/2025: Trattoria di buon livello, caratterisica, nel centro storico di Pescasseroli. Buono e generoso l'antipasto, gradevoli i primi, buona la salsiccia con scamorza. Vino locale gradevole. Il servizio cortese e disponibile. Il prezzo un pó alto per una trattoria. Consigliato.
