04/09/2025: It was our anniversary dinner, and we couldn't have made a better choice. Refined and original dishes show the chef's creativity and passion for his work. His delicious dishes even made my husband, who never eats fish, appreciate fish! The atmosphere is calm and relaxed, and the staff is friendly and makes you feel at home. Excellent value for money. We'll be back.

03/09/2025: We went to this restaurant a couple of weeks ago. Frankly, it's not up to par, even if they try to show off. I found it excessively expensive for the fish, which wasn't at all fresh. The dishes were bland. There are better places in Trapani, much better. For two, an appetizer, a main course, and a little wine, it was €88. It seems really excessive to me.

The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, the staff is friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable, the fish is excellent (the red mullet was amazing), and the dishes are generous. The quality/price ratio is truly excellent. Congratulations, we'll be happy to return.

03/08/2025: If you're looking to organize an event, this is the place to be. Eva is kind and helpful, able to meet every client's need, as are Giuseppe and Pietro. The food is excellent, the staff is knowledgeable, and whether it's a lunch or dinner, a wedding, or any other event, you're guaranteed a great experience here. The quality/price ratio is fantastic. I definitely recommend it.

24/07/2025: The "Dai Gelosi" restaurant is a point of reference where the extreme courtesy and professionalism of the staff is accompanied by excellent cuisine, no less so the hospitality and friendliness of the owners, 5 stars without hesitation!

26/08/2025: Family-run wine shop with the kindest owners ever🫶🏻. All the products are top-quality, the atmosphere is beautiful, and the wine is amazing. We're lucky to have it close to home so we can always come back for an aperitivo and dinner!

Although we were already pretty full after Antipasti and Primi, we couldn't stand trying out Secondi, which was equally great. Finishing the evening with a recommended glass of yellow grappa was a fine ending of a great supper

13/08/2025: I'll start this review by saying that we went there for dinner one evening and immediately made a reservation for the following evening. We gave ample space to the meat, and it was an excellent choice because it's truly high quality. For both dinners, we ordered sliced veal, picanha, slow-cooked cinta, hand-chopped tartare, sliced veal, and sashi (about 1 kg). Not a single dish disappointed us! Everything was truly delicious! Furthermore, the service was attentive and friendly, and they gave us expert and professional advice. Every time we're in the area, it will definitely be a regular stop. I highly recommend trying it!

15/07/2025: Ottima colazione semplice. Cornetto,caffè e spremuta fresca. Servizio molto cordiale e pochi posti a sedere leggermente fuori dal caos di centro San Marco. Il locale e' molto meno turistico di tanti altri posti e ha la serenità del bar di paese. Da notare anche che hanno ottima pasticceria fatta direttamente in loco. Molto carino anche un piccolo tavolino con vista ponticello. Straconsiglio

16/06/2025: For everyone who cares they only have one vegan option! It is the berry biscuit. The biscuit was disappointing and tasted stale but the jam was nice ,still despite the coffee being good if you have to go out of your way to go there not worth it !

27/08/2025: I had the pleasure of trying this restaurant for the first time and was truly impressed. The dishes were excellent: authentic and well-balanced flavors. The mezze maniche with dried vegetable flour and the carob crepe were a real discovery. A great added bonus is that the fresh pasta is made in-house, and you can taste it! A warm welcome and great attention from the owners: an experience that makes you feel at home. A place I absolutely recommend, both for the quality of the cuisine and the atmosphere.

24/08/2025: I happened upon this restaurant in Comiso by chance. It's welcoming, spotlessly clean, well-maintained, and understated. Polite and elegant. A courteous and super-friendly woman welcomes us. The menu is varied, featuring typical local dishes. Well-prepared, flavorful, and balanced. I have no flaws to find; it's a blend of pleasantness, professionalism, and the simplicity of someone who knows how to do their job well without being self-absorbed. I'll recommend it because it's absolutely worth it.

09/08/2025: Welcoming atmosphere, very friendly staff, excellent food. We spent four nights in the area and only ate at Dottor Fish on three nights because it was closed on the fourth. We'll definitely be back next time we're in the area.

07/08/2025: Definitely the best place to eat well and affordably. Many places in the area tend to put on a show but then offer subpar service and food. Doctor Fish is a safe bet: clean and welcoming, excellent service, excellent dishes and fresh fish, and very good pizza. The desserts are varied and very tasty. The only flaw is perhaps the tiramisu, which fell short of expectations, but then again, you can't have everything. After several experiences at other places (and rightly so, when you're on vacation, you want to see new places), we've decided to always eat there. The waiters are very friendly and attentive. Even if you're more than 10 km away, we recommend trying it. It's almost impossible to find better in the area.

21/08/2025: Extremely disappointing. We spent 40 minute to get here, only to find the restaurant closed despite it showing as open everywhere online. No update on Google, no notice on their own website — nothing at all to warn customers. A complete waste of time and effort.

13/08/2025: Undeniably excellent food in terms of quality, quantity, and price. The service was very professional, courteous, and helpful. However, given the lengthy courtship process to secure a table for two, I expected a more formal and selective atmosphere. Instead, the dining room is small, the tables are too close together, and after a while, the atmosphere becomes chaotic, making it impossible to communicate with the person sitting across from you. It's completely unsuitable for hosting tables of people shouting and laughing loudly with their mouths full, like in a suburban dive. Even a great dinner can go completely haywire.

The atmosphere is incredibly welcoming, with meticulous attention to detail, making you feel instantly at ease, right at home. This attention to detail is also reflected in the products offered. I found exceptional quality, with desserts that are unique and truly amazing in flavor. The individual portions are small works of art, a feast for the eyes and the palate. It's an ideal place for both a relaxing breakfast and an aperitif with friends. I also really appreciate their attention to different dietary needs, with a variety of vegan and gluten-free options that aren't always found elsewhere. It's a truly inclusive place, where everyone can find something special. Bar Hygge fully deserves its fame and the accolades it's received, such as a mention in the Gambero Rosso Guide. It's an experience worth trying again and again. Highly recommended!

He has a start up vineyard in Castelmola and we tried a bottle of his Vigna Georgina N AREA C.da Luppineria. Very good wine! Highly recommend this restaurant, you won’t be disappointed.
