28/09/2025: The food is good. That's why we came a second time, but the service wasn't professional. We had booked the room for an event. The waiters were only present when the dishes were brought. If you don't catch them in the room at that moment, you have to wait for the next course. With the last course, everyone disappears, and to get served you have to search who knows where; this is a real nuisance, wandering through the rooms looking for a waiter. Then, the accident happened, dropping a slice of cake on a guest's head, and instead of apologizing and cleaning up the cake splat under his feet, the waiter disappeared for quite some time. He then returned to pick up the cake, leaving the cream under his feet. We had to call them back to clean it up. Then, laughing, they said that these things happen often. Yes, it can happen, but in this case, the priority should be to fix everything so as not to draw too much attention to the incident. Instead, it all turned into a tragedy for the guest.

15/10/2025: An elegant and refined venue, both in its furnishings and its service. Fast, very courteous, and professional service. A varied menu, from appetizers to desserts, with options for one, two, or more people. Fresh fish and exquisite cuisine, the appetizer platter is an unexpected harmony of incredibly fused flavors and aromas... Well done, CONGRATULATIONS! We'll definitely be back.

12/10/2025: An excellent restaurant for discerning tastes. High-quality food and drinks. The only negative: as a foreigner in the off-season, you sometimes feel a little left out.

05/11/2025: Restaurant found with the help of the Lonely Planet guide. A very good experience. It's worth the effort. The restaurant is located in the upper part of the Spanish Quarter, away from the tourist crowds, yet right in the heart of the city. Authentic Neapolitan cuisine. Homemade dishes. We thoroughly enjoyed it! 😋 Highly recommended!

24/10/2025: It really is worth the hype. One of the more memorable focaccias of our entire trip. The man there was so patient and explained every ingredient to us which we really appreciated. My favorite was the pear and local salami sandwich!

20/10/2025: Awesome sandwich spot! Lots of simple but great options. You can see them prepare all the ingredients right in front of you. Do keep in mind that it’s not the fastest place, this wasn’t a problem for me so didn’t impact my experience.

20/10/2025: Yesterday, October 19, we went to this quaint restaurant for lunch. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, the food excellent, and the staff very kind and professional. The homemade pasta is sublime, as are the desserts, even the homemade ones. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to spend a day surrounded by chestnut trees and to anyone who wants to enjoy the authentic flavors of yesteryear, featuring all kinds of game. We'll definitely be back.

06/10/2025: A nice place and excellent service, but unfortunately, that's where the positives end. The appetizers were made with good ingredients but presented in a sparse and incomplete way, the first courses were absolutely bland, and the desserts were barely adequate. However, the "Spiedone" (skewer) was a positive choice, as it was truly delicious. For three appetizers, two first courses, a second course, two side dishes (good), three desserts, half a liter of house wine, and three coffees, we spent €147. Despite the general increase in restaurant prices, you can eat much better for less.

03/11/2025: Well-defined and excellent atmosphere for an aperitif that leaves you satisfied and the dessert (cheesecake) which you don't expect to be so tasty 5 stars go only to him... it's a nice quiet place to definitely try again.

03/11/2025: We visited this restaurant in Nicolosi for an aperitif. The staff was friendly and helpful, the wait was minimal, and the atmosphere was welcoming, thoughtfully designed, and pleasant. The food was excellent; the platter was plentiful and tasty, perfect for filling up. The value for money was also excellent. If we ever return to the area, we'd be happy to return to try the sandwiches, which look truly inviting.

12/09/2025: I finally managed to have lunch at this restaurant with my family. The tasting menu offers a fixed price, perfectly in line with the quality and number of courses. The chef, the host, personally comes to the table to chat with guests, which we greatly appreciated. It allowed us to share ideas and created a convivial and joyful atmosphere. I applaud the use of borage, both fried and parmigiana-style, which is truly exquisite.

31/08/2025: The hospitality you receive from Peppe Zullo at his restaurant is unparalleled. He makes you feel right at home! Simple, seasonal dishes made with the freshest ingredients. I highly recommend a lunch with the maestro for a relaxing, convivial experience.

11/10/2025: Truly excellent restaurant! 😍 We stumbled upon it by chance after the chestnut festival and it turned out to be a wonderful discovery! 🍂 The picanha was flavorful and succulent 🥩, the potatoes on the side were slightly crunchy and delicious 🥔. The seasonal porcini mushrooms were excellent 🍄. The pizza, cooked to perfection 🍕, with quality ingredients, was a real surprise. The wine they produce was delicious 🍷, and the many other quality options were explained to us with great expertise 🤓. The service was excellent 👌 and the atmosphere was perfect, with soft lighting and a room carved out of the tuff rock ✨. The prices are absolutely fair for what we ate, in fact, slightly lower 💸. Highly recommended, we'll definitely be back! 🥳

11/10/2025: We really enjoyed our stay, the vibe was good, the atmosphere was warm, welcoming, family-friendly, unique, and refined... excellent service, excellent food, and fair prices. We stumbled upon it by chance, but I'd gladly return. I recommend it.

28/10/2025: What a great find! Went to this restaurant when the city was packed for the chestnut festival and we weren't sure if it would be any good. The dishes were well prepared using local and fresh ingredients. We hadn't reserved but the maître made a small space for us and sat us anyways (super grateful)! Make sure to take a look at the woman power in the kitchen. Those ladies are the superwomen of food preparation!
