17/08/2025: We stopped last night at the Venere restaurant. The location is charming, the self-service approach to food preparation could have been nice, but we weren't entirely satisfied with the quality and quantity of the food. We had a tomato bruschetta, which was nothing special, and the main course was linguine with sea urchins: mediocre, with many of the shellfish being closed. Looking at the nearby tables, we noticed that the pizza didn't look like a regular pizza, but was very thin and lightly topped. The staff seemed bored and unmotivated. I recommend improving the service, perhaps with porcelain plates instead of paper ones, and the quality of the food.

03/10/2025: I stopped at this bar before the start of the Under-23 cycling race. The atmosphere is simple, the breakfast excellent, and the service excellent. There are tables and chairs at the sides of the entrance, and parking is available along the street and internal roads.

13/09/2025: We went there early september without reservation. The tables outside were reserved or taken but we were glad we took the table inside because it got a little cold later in the evening. We ate pizza aaand it was really good. Staff was friendly and it seems like its a lovely family business.

12/09/2025: The best tuna pizza on the island, although the prices are rather high. The main problem was the wait. Even though we were greeted and told it would take 10-15 minutes for a table inside or outside to become available, we were completely ignored afterward. The restaurant was almost completely empty inside (which we unfortunately didn't notice until later), and only after we approached several waiters did they take care of us. The unnecessary wait before we could even order: 40 minutes!!! It's ridiculous.

10/07/2025: Beautiful place, different from what you're used to in Versilia, the food is fabulous, and the staff are very friendly.

08/07/2025: We were here twice in five days, once for lunch (it was quite late, but we had just arrived from Milan and all the restaurants were closed!) and were greeted warmly by a friendly lady. We ordered two first courses, as well as two gnocchi with scampi. What can I say, they were really good, and what was very welcome was that the scampi were already peeled, so we didn't have to waste time cleaning them. The portions were just right. The place is immaculately maintained, with a unique, self-centered style that I really loved. The interior windows, which look like mirrors, are fantastic! Convenient indoor parking, a very nice pool, and the overall environment (both inside and out) is immaculately kept and very clean. The place also has several terraces with beach/sea views, each "area" having a different but always original style. We returned a second time, at a different time, for a sunset aperitif. The cost of a sunset/sea view aperitif was €10, with very good drinks, accompanied by Taggiasca olives, chips, and capers. The aperitif then suddenly turned into dinner, as we were feeling so good, we decided to have dinner and try the scampi gnocchi again. Recommended.

06/08/2025: I had a coffee here and the experience was very pleasant. The self-service system is convenient and fast. The coffee was really good, and they also have plant-based milks. The atmosphere of the place is also perfect: quiet and cozy, with ambient music. Perfect for a break and a rest.

25/07/2025: Wonderful place for some sommer wine! Also, check out the wine window, it’s one of the prettiest in the city.

14/09/2025: Paying 35 euros a day for two plates of pasta with olive oil sauce, a beer, and a Coke seems excessive to me, especially after discovering that the set menu, which was never offered to us, costs 40 euros, drinks included.

09/09/2025: A small restaurant with an outdoor veranda seating about 20-25 people, overlooking the Mola di Bari seafront. Excellent welcome: the owner welcomed us even after closing time. The food was also excellent: very fresh fish, beautifully cooked. Quick and informal service, easy, no waiters in uniform (at least not when I went, which was after closing time). Disposable cutlery, plates, and tablecloths, but I don't consider this a bad thing, quite the opposite. When I'm back in Mola di Bari, I'll definitely be back. Recommended

31/08/2025: A negative experience to say the least. The place was very nice, but it was incredible that, on an already sparse menu, most of the dishes we chose were no longer available. The appetizers were decent, but the entrees were tragic. Pappardelle with wild boar ragù was actually tagliatelle, overcooked, and served with stew rather than ragù; tagliolini with truffle, with the most flavorless truffle I've ever eaten. Slow service, dishes brought in batches; an experience not to be repeated.

30/08/2025: An osteria that aims to combine Maremma cuisine with Argentario seafood. It doesn't succeed in either. The charcuterie board is unremarkable; good but not refined. The sliced ​​steak was tough and flavorless, despite being rare. The grilled calamari...to be forgotten; it's obviously a frozen product served as if it were fresh. A real shame, because the service was good and all the ingredients for a good osteria were there...

13/09/2025: Very nice location, super friendly staff; the place has an app so you can easily order your favorite menu from the table. We tried the pizzas, which were FABULOUS: the GRISÙ (tomato, Agerola fior di latte, 'nduja, spicy salami) and the SALSICCIA E CACIOCAVALLO (Agerola fior di latte, tomato, sausage, and caciocavallo)! Everything was delicious, the pizza was well-cooked! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND! WORTH IT!

13/07/2025: I was invited to my friend Piero's birthday party, and my family and I, who had come from Palermo on vacation to Tuscany, ate an excellent pizza. We left satisfied. There were a lot of us, and the wait was long. The pizza was huge and thin, making it easy to slice. The staff was extremely kind and remembered every detail, even though there were over 30 of us. A good pizza for those who want to fill up and spend less. One small flaw: the pizza is a little too thin, and the flavor doesn't last long afterward. All in all, it was a great experience.

27/08/2025: We had a wonderful time at this charming hotel. The staff was very attentive to our requests. The room was very pleasant. The view was magnificent. The private parking was really convenient. And the grounds were very beautiful, well-maintained, and clean.

03/09/2025: A place where you can smell the smoke from countless cigarettes, held back by a curtain that, despite the small openings, doesn't allow for any air exchange. It's not an open-air venue! Everyone standing inside the various booths, passed off as private rooms, or on the white sofas pierced by stiletto heels! Horrible. It's no longer the twiga it once was!
