I Sofà Bar Restaurant & Roof Terrace

13/04/2026: We dined on Saturday, April 11th, and the restaurant immediately won us over from the outside: carved into the rock and nestled in the charming Via Giulia, we were greeted by sofas where we could wait (we arrived a few minutes early). Once inside, both the service and the food lived up to expectations.
Golden mention for the chef's entrée and the dish of the day (rigatoni with oxtail stew).
12/04/2026: Bar is amazing. Great drinks and amazing service. Daniel was the best bartender we've ever had.

12/04/2026: The best sandwich I've had in all of Italy. The wait is absolutely worth it, the staff are so friendly, everything is fresh, and you get to build your sandwich exactly the way you want, all made right in front of you. Prices are very reasonable too. Highly recommend it!

08/05/2026: I've been going to this restaurant since I was 2 years old and it's never disappointed me! The food and quality are excellent, with plenty of vegetarian and vegan options in addition to the classic meat and chicken options.
The owner is very attentive and has always welcomed me and my family with a smile and such kindness!

07/05/2026: We discovered this place by chance. From the outside, it didn't look very inviting, but we decided to go in anyway. And it was absolutely fantastic. The owner, chef, and server were all incredibly friendly. The food was amazing. We highly recommend this restaurant as a real hidden gem.
06/05/2026: Truly generous portions of Roman first courses, wood-fired pizza, and a very quaint venue, perfect for soaking up the Garbatella atmosphere. Prices are incredibly affordable, almost pre-Covid, which is rare these days. Special thanks to Angelo, who was very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended!

27/04/2026: The venue is nice, the atmosphere is great, and the drinks are excellent. I found the selection of appetizers to accompany after dinner a bit limited. My least favorite thing was the length of the concert...the website lists it as 2 hours, which is the bare minimum (from 9:30 PM to 11:30 PM), but in reality the concert barely lasts 1.5 hours...considering the cost of 25 euros per person with a concert, people should at least be given time to enjoy it. At 11 PM the venue closes and everyone goes out. I don't know if I'd go back...

The place isn't very large, so you might only find a table at certain times, and it can get noisy, especially on weekends, due to the crowds. Nonetheless, it was a wonderful experience! I'll definitely be back. I recommend booking.

26/11/2025: A great experience. The place is beautifully decorated. The dishes are all traditional, from appetizer to dessert, and are very tasty and unique, even if they're spicy. The owner who served us explained everything in detail and was very kind and friendly. She conveyed all the passion behind it and the warmth you feel when you feel at home. We'll gladly return.

23/03/2026: First time for me and my friends trying Ethiopian food and we enjoyed it so much. Food was delicious, well prepared and fresh. Staff were nice and the restaurant itself was very authentic. I would totally recommend it!

01/05/2026: I had an excellent experience,I usually come here for the quality ,it’s healthy and fresh.Specially I love the the kebab kubideh and mahiche polo.
The environment is also very friendly and the staff are super nice.
I definitely recommend them for their qualiy and fair prices.
12/04/2026: The best true kebab in Rome, or at least in the northern quadrant. Not prepackaged, but rather pieces of meat skewered vertically and sliced with a knife, not with a slicer. The kebab is served plated with white rice or salad, or, if desired, in a sandwich. It's a Persian restaurant, informal and welcoming, with Houssein, the owner, always smiling and attentive. The excellent kebab is a feature of the rest of the menu, which is very tasty. Try the braised lamb shank with vinegar rice and broad beans, the rice with chicken and currants, and, to finish, the rose ice cream. A quality that has never waned over the years.

10/04/2026: A place to enjoy authentic Eritrean cuisine in a pleasant atmosphere divided into two spaces, one more modern and traditional, and one traditional Eritrean, with low tables and stools. It's worth trying at least once, unless you have back problems. You eat with your hands from a large shared plate, where the food is arranged.
02/04/2026: The owner was kind and welcoming. The food was delicious. The atmosphere was charming. The kids had fun eating with their hands, and so did we, the adults. The prices were very fair considering the quality of the food. Thank you!

07/04/2026: A fine dining restaurant at the hotel. The food was very nice and service attentive. Their menu highlights what contains gluten vs is gluten free which is what nice. very nice steak and other sides. Service was attentive.
01/03/2026: The cuisine is magnificent, both in flavor and presentation. It offers views of the pool, the Vela, and the surrounding area. In winter, you can enjoy the view from the closed windows, which are open in summer. The staff is friendly and elegant.
