17/12/2024: Food and service was exceptional. I had the Beef filet, roasted octopus, and Ravoli. All of it was delicious! Hands down best octopus I’ve ever had!!

01/12/2024: A cuddle, from the first moment to the last. We spent an evening as a couple in this wonderful restaurant and the experience was super positive. At the beginning of dinner we asked to visit the hotel rooftop and the staff kindly satisfied our request. The food was really very good. We tasted the fassona carpaccio, the plin ravioli, the potato gnocchi and the beef fillet. Everything delicious, including the homemade bread accompanied by salted butter. The evening was excellent especially thanks to the staff who showed up with kindness and professionalism at every course. Both at the reception with Daniele and throughout the dinner with Andrea and Cristiano. Absolutely worth trying again! Super recommended!

29/12/2024: I chose this place to celebrate my graduation and was immediately enchanted by it. The location in question has an incredible view, the swimming pool is open all year round, and is an integral part of Villa Mercede, a jewel at the entrance to Frascati, one of my favorite areas of the Castelli Romani. The professionalism of the maître Nicola makes "La cucina con vista" a restaurant of great prominence; he assisted me at all times, making sure my guests were comfortable and enjoying the event, it was as if he was watching over us. All the staff are extremely kind and friendly, in line with the elegance of the venue. The refined and tasty food was the confirmation of having chosen the right restaurant and which I would recommend a million times to everyone, not only to celebrate events but also to spend a quiet evening enjoying a splendid view. Congratulations again to all the staff, well deserved. Keep it up! ❤️

01/12/2024: I give 5 stars because I don't want the review score to be lowered.. I respect all activities and people who work.. The cuisine needs to be totally improved... I thought it would be better... it's really a shame because I would go back... staff friendly, clean room with panoramic view.. Unfortunately I question the quality of the dishes prepared... tasteless and lukewarm.. My advice but it matters little.. change the menu!!

29/12/2024: Informal restaurant with a menu with few but targeted dishes. Good quality home cooking but too little typical. Spicing reduced to a minimum. Eggplant cream seems like an excellent parmigiana, the kebab is a good roast meat to which they should add sauces and, perhaps on request, spiciness.

18/12/2024: Very nice restaurant, with a very characteristic African-style room and an Italian-style room for those who want to be more comfortable. The food is delicious and the staff very friendly. We ate vegetarian/vegan and had a great time. Experience to be repeated.

13/01/2025: This place is a hidden gem in heart of Rome! Gabriel went truly above and beyond and was the highlight of our trip to Rome! We only had 3 nights of stay in Rome, and we came to Hi res twice due to Gabriel’s exceptional service! Normally we are all about exploring the new places, but he got us hooked :)) Food and service is not any short of Michelin star!! If I could I would give 6 or 7 stars out of 5! Its been a few month since we visited and our son still asks for Hi-Res every once in a while ! :)

Research, professionalism, quality and a family environment make the Ottagono one of the best restaurants where you can spend a wonderful day, especially in summer with the wonderful garden and the super beautiful gazebo ♥️
