This isn't my first time at this restaurant, and I feel right at home. Hossein, along with his team, is fantastic. Jovial and simple, like the traditional dishes he offers. Spicy, yes, but in moderation. The beef, veal, chicken, and pork shoulder pair divinely with the rice, fava beans, and oriental spices. And then, to round things off, on Wednesdays there's belly dancing. A dancer, with oriental features but from Rome, harmoniously performs, giving you, for a moment, the feeling of being in Persia.

I always enjoy returning to this restaurant because the food is truly excellent. Unfortunately, I can't give it 5 stars due to a disproportionate price increase over the last year and a half. Comparing the website menu with the restaurant menu, the price increase is clear: main courses have gone from €17/18 to €22/24 (for example, the Ghormeh Sabzi is €22 and the mixed meat platter is €24). The quality of the meat is excellent, but the portions are modest. With such high prices and a €2 cover charge, it would be a nice touch to offer bread/focaccia, which instead costs €4 for a small portion. A real shame.
