19/02/2026: I've been away for several years. The place is always cute, spacious, and perfect for birthdays and large groups. The selection is extensive, as is the menu. Personally, I'm not a fan of thin, crispy pizza, but there are plenty of options. The staff is friendly and helpful.

09/03/2026: If you want to drink a good beer (and maybe try some others, getting recommendations) and spend time in a family atmosphere, this is the place. I've been coming here for a long time and I have to say it's never disappointed me. Whether it's a sandwich, a bruschetta, or a dish, the quality is always the same. What can I say about the beers? Nothing! Denis knows how to satisfy even the most demanding and particular tastes. I challenge anyone to leave and say the beer wasn't good! For me, it continues to be a guarantee.

26/10/2025: Quiet evening, Saturday in late October, not crowded. The waiter was unsuitable; he forgot the order, and when we called him back after half an hour to at least get a drink, he became threatening, as if he'd received the worst insult imaginable. After an hour of waiting, we reordered because there was no sign of the first order. The waiter was once again rude, with manners unbecoming of his job. I credit my co-workers, who were serving the nearby tables, with better manners, traceable orders, and shorter wait times. Food: Mediocre pizza, terrible fried food, a nightmare. Terrible evening.

26/10/2025: We went for lunch today. We ordered pizza, a hamburger, and a steak. The food was delicious, the hamburger meat was very good. The steak was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The pizza was really good! The service was very friendly. The place is also nice and well-maintained, and the bathroom is clean. The only downside was that we found a hair in my husband's meal. We reported it to the staff, and the meal was immediately replaced. I thought we'd get something credited to our account, a free dessert, or a free coffee. Unfortunately, no.

10/03/2026: Fixed-menu lunch. Always excellent and varied food! The buffet is very generous, unlike any other restaurant! The free dessert at the counter was very welcome! Well-organized for a quick meal, kudos to the entire staff!

01/03/2026: The food is overly spicy and full of oil. The menu isn't very varied. Side dishes are served buffet style, but not specified on the menu. If you ask how it works, they say you can order them, but then they charge you a whopping 6 euros.

15/11/2025: Shockingly Bad Service for a Supposed Luxury Hotel I honestly can’t believe how terribly we were treated here. We came by boat, dressed for a celebration, expecting at least basic hospitality from a hotel that pretends to be high-end. Instead, we were greeted by a bar manager with the worst attitude I’ve ever seen in the service industry. He didn’t just refuse to seat us — he did it with an air of pure arrogance, speaking to us as if we were inconveniencing him by simply showing up. No explanation, no apology, nothing. Just a dismissive tone and a cold stare. Even more disappointing, the other hotel staff stood by and acted the same way — distant, uninterested, and completely unhelpful. Not one person made the slightest effort to offer a solution or show even basic courtesy. The whole experience was humiliating and completely ruined what was supposed to be a special evening. For a hotel of this price and reputation, their behavior is an absolute joke. Don’t waste your time. Don’t waste your money. There are plenty of places in Venice that actually know how to treat guests like human beings.

09/03/2026: We sat down at 1:05 PM and received our appetizer (a plate to share between three) within minutes, and had to wait until 2:55 PM for our first course. We asked for bread (which hadn't been brought) to accompany our appetizer, but it never arrived. We had to ask three more times until the much-desired loaf arrived, which we finished during the hour and a half wait for our first course. After a third reminder to the waiter, who informed us we had a train to catch and couldn't wait any longer, our pasta finally arrived, cold of course. Bigoli with lake ragù and three small pieces of fish (colder than the pasta) and bigoli with smoked trout carbonara, featuring a nice piece of smoked trout, probably fresh from the fridge (or freezer). We asked for the bill, and the waiter, after a courteous and thorough recap of all the dishes we'd ordered, didn't offer us a discount, coffee, or a liqueur as an apology. Total €87.50 for a dish divided between three appetizers, three first courses, a water, and a quart of white wine. What a shame, an experience I wouldn't wish on anyone. Avoid!

08/03/2026: Don't be fooled by the well-designed website and location, which deserve 5 stars! Inattentive service and very long waits! The pasta arrived before the appetizers and was sent back twice! The same pasta, unheated, was brought later! An experience not to be repeated. A shame about the location!

30/09/2025: We really enjoyed our wedding anniversary celebration at this restaurant! We have been traveling through Italy and we ended our trip in Venice. This restaurant was in our hotel so we decided to try it out, and it was a very delightful experience. The staff are very kind and welcoming, the food is delicious and the bread was really good! Something worth to mention since in other restaurants the bread was not good at all. We will recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to eat a high quality meal in Venice!

24/12/2025: I highly recommend this place. The staff are very polite and friendly. It's now become a regular stop for a good pre-work aperitivo. I've never had any problems; in fact, when I ordered some croissants to go, they were kind enough to prepare a takeout box for me for the next day. And boy, were they delicious? They also prepare wonderful lunches, both quick meals and something a little more elaborate. I recommend it to everyone.

04/01/2026: Aside from the five burnt pizzas we had, we felt reprimanded by the owner for wanting to seat us right next to the stove. Other customers complained that the stove was too close. The outdoor area was so crowded that it was impossible to get up to use the bathroom. Courtesy is another matter entirely. We would have also liked decent cutlery, but we received bent forks. We won't be returning.

09/03/2026: Verdict: 👍🏽 100% worth the experience! If I were to describe the Florian, I’d say that it is a boutique cafe that makes you feel like you stepped in the 17th or 18th century. Open since 1720, (yes, seventeen-twenty) it is absolutely gorgeous! The seating is tight, but if you get in you make it work. We got a cappuccino and a hot chocolate. The cappuccino was divine, and the hot chocolate was super thick; as it should be. Their prices are definitely based on the experience & having found seating at one of their tables. e.g.: The hot chocolate was €18 in 2022. Again, it’s worth the experience. Think of it as the entrance fee for walking into a scene from history, but you also get a drink and/or snacks! 10/03/2026: Varied breakfasts for every taste and origin, a clean and fragrant environment with attention to detail. The staff is brilliant, elegant, attentive, and welcoming. Since December, I've been staying at the hotel once a month. At the restaurant, I've tried the sports menu and the all-you-can-eat menu. Superlative, refined, and unexpected food. I'll definitely be back. Highly recommended, especially for those just passing through for a quick getaway.

30/12/2025: Very nice, intimate, and welcoming place! The owner is truly friendly and generous with advice. The fish appetizer was delicious, followed by squid in ink on a bed of excellent white polenta. Well done, we'll definitely remember and return!

20/11/2025: An intimate atmosphere, almost a secret treat, with traditional cuisine but with a contemporary feel. Family-run. The atmosphere makes for a serene yet elegant yet unpretentious treat. Even the staff are part of this special place, a hidden gem.
