19/06/2025: The double room we were in was small,however, it was very clean. The staff were exceptional, always happy to help out. The breakfast was fabulous, with a lot of choices. The location is perfect, everything you want or need on your doorstep, giving you access to see the beauty of all towns on Lake Garda It was a fabulous holiday.

09/05/2025: Bad experience, I don't recommend it. I had higher expectations given the reviews and the location which is beautiful. The raw materials are not all of high quality, the service leaves something to be desired. The table lacks oil and vinegar, pepper and salt to season the vegetables, they don't bring grated cheese for the pasta, if you run out of bread they don't bring it back. Many little things that don't add up to the high bill which in my opinion should also include pouring the wine into the glass when it is emptied...

08/02/2025: The restaurant is located in a very beautiful and particular area of ​​the Berici hills. It is easy to get there but remains secluded and suggestive. The rooms have a welcoming atmosphere and are rich in history. The fireplace does the rest. Excellent for a dinner for two but also in the company of friends and colleagues. Very good courses, original but tasty cuisine and abundant dishes.

25/05/2025: Muito caro para o vem na mesa. Carbonara fria e carne de 26 euros com uma micro folha de alface de acompanhamento. Um absurdo. Um prato gigante com a carne no meio sem nada mais. Garçom simpatico. Mas não voltaria!

14/05/2025: I ordered Sarde in Saor which was fabulous. I had no idea what to expect but wanted to try something traditional. Glad I did! I followed it with the fegato. It was also delicious but portions for both dishes were not generous. My companion ordered sea bream with vegetables. Her fish was very nicely cooked but a slice of aubergine, one slice of courgette & one slice of pepper really isn’t ’vegetables’. It’s garnish! The liver came with just 2 small leaves of lettuce on the edge of the plate. We enjoyed our meals but it was an expensive lunch considering the small portions. Our desserts were standard fare, tiramisu and an Italian meringue with strawberries. Service was professional but quite speedy. For €114, which included two glasses of rosé, I would have expected service that was slightly more leisurely and not such skimpy portions. On balance, although our lunch was pleasant, Riva Rosa didn’t justify the price.

16/06/2025: Stay away from this place... Family dinner with 2 children aged 7 and 9... Ordered 2 pizzas (the dough was practically rubber and tasted like nothing) 1 club sandwich (acceptable) and 1 chicken nugget (inedible, old chicken tasted like frozen, we asked for a change and the owner told us that they were all like that and that therefore she would bring us a cutlet. In addition to having made us pay for it, it was the same as the nuggets...). Trust me if you want to eat well go elsewhere, this place is in full decline.

04/06/2025: Un ristorante dall’impronta molto tradizionale, sia per quanto riguarda i piatti che per quanto riguarda il servizio. Comunque è molto piacevole, tovaglie sui tavoli (cosa oramai rarissima… ma molto apprezzabile), ampia scelta di menu, porzioni abbondanti e ben fatte. Complessivamente una buona scelta. Ottima la zuppa di pesce che consigliamo . Ci torneremo sicuramente

23/04/2025: Unterirdisch!! Absolut nicht empfehlenswert! Sehr schlechter Service, unfreundliches Personal. Schlechtes Essen. Nicht touristenfreundlich. Das Essen - Vorspeise, Pizza und Pasta - schmeckten gar nicht. Der Wein schmeckte nach Essig - erst auf Nachfrage, da der Wein ungenießbar war, bekamen wir die Info, dass es den bestellten Wein nicht mehr gab… ohne jegliche Info wurde einfach ein anderer Wein hingestellt. Am Nachbartisch wurden englische Gäste ebenfalls sehr unfreundlich bedient! Eigentlich war es eine Empfehlung von Einheimischen…

21/05/2025: After arriving in Bardolino, we spontaneously decided on this restaurant while strolling through the old town. The staff was very friendly, efficient, and accommodating. The food and drink menu left nothing to be desired. We opted for a glass of Rosé and were not disappointed. The dishes were all plentiful and everyone enjoyed them. To finish off our meal, we had an espresso or a lemonade. We can recommend Ancora with a clear conscience.

08/06/2025: Excited to find sarde in saor on the menu, I was very disappointed. The raisins and vinegar were missing, and the onion was not stewed properly. Those who ordered tagliatelle with radicchio found instead tasteless linguine. When we pointed out that white tagliatelle did not exist (we are from Bologna) they told us that these were the ones they were provided with. The 5 people who ate these tagliatelle were absolutely dissatisfied. We had to ask for bread several times because the portions were definitely insufficient for the number of diners. On the other hand, the grilled fish was superb and the mixed salad excellent and plentiful. The bill was definitely high but to be expected given the location

07/06/2025: Outrageous prices for a huge, starving boiled meat. Prices not in line with the quality of the product. Menus and dishes purely touristy. He will never see us again!!!!!!

22/05/2025: Excellent service and food! Everyone was so attentive. I’m a platinum elite member so we were offered free cicchettis too. We were there for dinner and the view was breathtaking. They offered blankets because it was a little chilly. Expect many bugs as this is normal in Venice, so make sure to use some OFF before going 😅 otherwise everything was perfect !

21/05/2025: Started off great. Enjoyed the food and service until the end. Every single table in the room where we were was offered limoncello at the end as “something we offer our dear customers”. I guess we are not those people even though our bill was probably larger than just about anyone’s that night. We were never offered it. Good food. Attentive service but nothing to rave about

28/05/2025: Deliciosa cena Tuvimos una deliciosa cena aquí y los propietarios son amables y acogedores ¡Conocimos a mamá y hermano! Entrada de espárragos y almejas de afeitar Luego filete de lenguado y un rodaballo simplemente cocinado con estilo y cuidado genuino. Todo el personal era amable y eficiente. Es un restaurante relajado con ingredientes de buena calidad.

16/05/2025: El servicio fue excelente con taxis y todo. Comida y especialmente pescado blanco fue manchado en Fuera del comedor era poco ruidoso, pero eso también se debió a la fuerte lluvia

25/08/2024: Hearing the owner swear... you can't. Not to mention the rude response to some (non-Italian) customers who asked if it was possible to change the channel. Finally, there are two of us waiting to be served, on our turn we ask for ice creams as an answer -"there's a fridge, take them". If he said it before we would have avoided hearing him curse🥴.For discreet eating.

22/08/2024: In hindsight I would have taken photos of the dishes but hunger and the goodness of the sandwiches did not allow me to document the dishes!!! Excuse me Slightly out of the way place, we arrived there by mistake, everything was excellent from the staff, super polite and professional with a touch of friendliness, to the sandwiches and clubs served! Try the one with Fassona's joke, a real treat!!!!

12/06/2025: Excellent food and dessert, a delicious tiramisu! I ate for 30 euros, including a starter, main course, dessert, wine, and water! I recommend it!

05/06/2025: I've been there several times, and it's one of the best, if not the best, restaurants in Venice. The food is delicious, the staff and owner are super friendly, quick, and the place is clean and very pretty. There's a man with a saxophone who makes the experience unparalleled. Highly recommended. I've never heard anyone who wasn't delighted!

22/06/2025: We didn’t make a reservation or grab a pricey table in the square—we simply walked in, turned left, and sat at the elegant bar inside to try the famous espresso at Caffè Florian, the oldest café in Italy (est. 1720). The service was wonderful—especially the lovely woman behind the bar who gave us a brief history lesson while pulling the espresso. It’s rich, strong, and smooth—sipping it in this setting made it unforgettable. So glad we did this! It’s a must-do for any coffee enthusiast. The atmosphere, the history, and that perfect little cup… you’re tasting a piece of Venetian tradition. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

22/06/2025: Croissant with prosciutto was unreal Not cheap but worth it for the good music, cappuccino and the ambience. Even the water was somehow more delicious than usual water.

10/06/2025: The rooms were dirty and the cleaning didn't do much. The only thing they did was make your bed but they didn't clean or replace towels. You don't even get toilet paper. There is a kettle in the room but no tea or coffee and no glasses either. The extra costs for breakfast are really not worth it. Super unsociable place to eat and very little choice. Nothing is fresh. We had to leave early in the morning and the man at the reception called us at 00:30 in the night to ask if we wanted a taxi.... There is also no elevator in the hotel.

27/04/2025: Encontramos este bonito restaurante por casualidad y no nos decepcionó. La comida era muy buena (ñoquis, espaguetis con tinta de calamar, tomate y mozzarella,...) y no se puede superar la vista. El precio era medio (unos 140 euros para los cuatro) para Venecia. Sin duda volvería allí de nuevo y lo recomiendo.

21/04/2025: Le restaurant est situé sur une terrasse flottante au bord de l’eau. On voit les bateaux passer. Très bon accueil Nous avons pris 2 plats - Spaghettis préparés dans une demi meule de parmesan. Un délice - Moules et palourdes en sauce avec tomates cerises et basilic avec chapeau de pain. Du jamais vu. Un vrai coup de cœur !

04/06/2025: The pizzeria is located in a pleasant square (Piazza Cavour) near the old town centre. There's shade from a large fig tree on the terrace. My pizza was good size and tasty, but the base was a bit doughy, hard to cut at the edges. Service was swift - my house wine came immediately and the pizza only took 5 minutes. There was a cover charge, I don't know what was covered! Wine and pizza cost 18.50 euros. Nice enough eatery for a quick lunch, food was OK, pleasant ambience; service very good.
