From the moment we entered, we were greeted with professionalism and warmth, with attentive yet unobtrusive service that made the evening truly special. The cuisine was a revelation: dishes crafted with attention to detail, top-quality ingredients, and pairings that enhance flavors without ever overdoing it. Each course tells a story of local tradition and passion. The wine cellar is extraordinary, with a selection of local labels that allowed us to discover local wines paired perfectly. A special mention for the attention to children: our 5-year-old daughter was greeted with a smile and suggestions tailored to her needs, making the dinner enjoyable and relaxing for everyone. A place where tradition, refinement, and hospitality meet: highly recommended.

20/08/2025: A great evening at Vecchio Ristoro. All the dishes were tasty, creative, and varied. Everything from A to Z is 100% homemade, using traceable and local ingredients as much as possible, and the service was very warm and informative! We also had some wonderful wine discoveries, with several gems from the Aosta Valley. The restaurant is clearly above many French 1-star Michelin restaurants, so we hope to get a second one soon, given all the hard work and talent! Thanks again!

26/08/2025: We had the smoked trout, which was truly excellent, and two pierrades. The meat and all the sides were good. It was worth it.

10/08/2025: Really lovely experience. The staff offered some of the best hospitality we experienced during our trip to the region. Hotel is nestled into Morgex. Rooms are comfortable. Food from the restaurant was delicious, seasonal and thoughtful. The wine was also excellent. The staff went out of their way to insure great service. Highly recommend!

07/08/2025: Per prenotare è come un viaggio spaziale e una fideiussione come se si comprasse una casa , assurdo. Devi dire quanti siete e poi mettere la carta con oblazione di 50 euro per ogni previsto commensale . Poi non prende la Amex e fa storie con Credem Banco Bpm e intesa . Demoralizzati

05/09/2025: Terrace in the city center, very pleasant in summer. Rustic local cuisine: polenta, pasta with ricotta and wild herbs, and delicious copa potato salad. The wine list is very good. We had a 2020 Brunello Col d'Or via (half-bottle, for lunch). Very efficient service.

05/09/2025: Restaurant was not happy to accommodate 3 lads in shorts and t-shirts for some lunch. Told us outside service wasn't possible due to the potential for rain and instead of seating us inside sent several different staff members over to speak to us, making it quite clear we weren't welcome.

19/07/2025: When I lived in La Thuile, I couldn't wait to eat there as soon as I had the chance (at least once a month). If you're from the Courmayeur area or nearby and want to be pampered by excellent staff while eating fantastic meat, this is the place for you. It's the kind of place you bring out-of-town guests to make sure they make a great impression.

17/07/2025: Restaurant with a spacious outdoor terrace. Friendly and professional staff. Truly good food and generous portions. The desserts are truly delicious and fresh. Worth a visit if you're in the Courmayeur area. The prices are more than fair.

12/08/2025: I had lunch there during my vacation in Courmayeur with my family, and the place was truly beautiful. Both traditional and national cuisine. The wine list is truly extensive and covers all price points. The only negative is that the desserts, at €18, are a bit overpriced.

21/07/2025: Siamo stati in questo ristorante sia per cena che per pranzo. Ottimi gli affettati e squisito il lardo. Tagliatelle alla selvaggina molto buone. Polenta con blu d’Aosta e con salsiccia in umido buona. Carta dei vini vasta e di alto livello. Servizio giovane che ancora deve crescere (motivo del non 5). Prezzi in linea con la zona. Locale consigliato

02/05/2025: Ottima cena nel cuore della Val Ferret. Ampia scelta e tutto di gran qualità. Servizio ottimo e attento. Ci siamo stati più volte provando piatti diversi e davvero tutto eccellente (forse solo la polenta valdostana non riprenderei, pur buona ma la preferisco di diversa consistenza) con alcuni piatti davvero top fra cui il risotto! Salumi e formaggi buonissimi per iniziare e ampia scelta per proseguire con sempre novità fuori menù. E pranzare o cenare con montagne di neve fresca a vista o con il sole estivo della Val Ferret è impagabile

15/08/2025: A very good pizza, with various doughs and different types. Friendly and very fast staff. Prices are in line with the city... a little high... but in Cervinia everything is very expensive. The pizza, however, is very eatable.

12/03/2025: Really nice Italian restaurant. Service is super good and they really take care of guests. A large outdoor grill is popular. The typical Italian dishes, like pasta and tiramisu, are super good. Happy to come again.

07/03/2025: We visited the Igloo Bar Restaurant Grill every day this week while skiing. Oh my god, the desserts made with so much love and passion - DELICIOUS - everything we tried. The owner and all of the staff were extremely friendly and we just felt wonderful. Grazie mille ! And besides the great deserts all the food was so good (great grill).
