13/12/2024: Abbiamo scoperto il ristorante Nadir spulciando su internet, non essendo della zona, e attirati dalla proposta dei piatti, dalle splendide foto di questi e dalle ottime recensioni siamo andati, sicuri che non potevamo fare scelta migliore a Perugia. Le aspettative sono state rispettate al 100%, la tartare con l'ossobuco era semplicemente favolosa(è difficile trovare chi cucina l'ossobuco nel centro Italia), i cappellacci con il ripieno di piccione erano spettacolari, la pasta fresca viene fatta dallo chef e si sente, meritava la scarpetta che abbiamo fatto. inutile dirvi che anche la qualità della carne dei secondi(abbiamo preso il piccione in crosta e il cuberoll di Kobieta) era eccezionale. Faccio ancora i complimenti al cameriere, una persona eccezionale, molto preparata e si vede che ama il suo lavoro e questo fa la differenza quando vai in un ristorante. Tanti complimenti anche allo Chef che riesce a mixare gli ingredienti in modo sapiente e originale, anche il panettone al caffè, fatto da lui, che ci ha gentilmente offerto era favoloso. Non conosco la storia del Teatro Zenith a Perugia ma il locale si trova li e anche lo stile del locale è molto originale e accogliente, sicuramente rispecchia il gusto dello chef. i prezzi sono piú che onesti, in linea con la qualità dei piatti. se passate a Perugia fermatevi in questo locale, non rimarrete delusi.

13/12/2024: I was in this wonderful villa for a business dinner with colleagues. Very charming and surprising location. Bright environments with evocative paintings. The villa is immersed in a very large and well-kept green park. Friendly and very welcoming staff. We had dinner with small tastings of various specialties. Quantities could be improved although generally satisfactory. For lovers of evocative and fascinating environments I highly recommend it.

05/10/2024: The dinner we had was excellent, first class; a whisker within perfect. Risotto with saffron, gnocchi al ragù, chitarrina alla carbonara, baccalà in tempura, maiale, and cicoria. The dishes were full of flavour; a mix of lovely elements, rich, complete, and near-always subtle rather than forced. The chicory was for some reason brilliant; good enough to convert anyone to bitter greens. Quantities were always right. The wine we chose, a slightly orange natural grechetto, also worked its magic. If our stomachs were any bigger we would have tried everything including the desserts, but I’m older and wiser and so ultimately chose a good night’s sleep over unrestrained gluttony.

18/12/2024: the pigeon was well cooked and so was the fish. food's good but nothing too remarkable. affordable tho! love the fact they listed EVERY single allergen at the back of the menu with footnotes dictating which ones they contain beside every dish. was expecting cruddy service after reading some 1-star reviews down this place. as a singaporean chinese, i was initially dissuaded to come to this place after reports of "racial discrimination", but the moment i entered the place i encountered NONE of this, very friendly to me in fact! some of yall really wna lie out here saying this place is "racist". im pretty sure yall are just sensitive abt the language barrier (which isnt that big of an issue. some duolingo lessons are good enough to get by. all you have to ask the people here is "aperto?" "grazie mille" "tavolo per due". please, when you visit a country the very least you can do is try to learn some basic language, or get a translation app.) in summary: service was downright amazing and the place was nice to eat in. if you are looking to try pigeon meat, i highly recommend this place, but it may not be to your taste (as applicable to me, no reason).

15/12/2024: No joke the sausage and mushroom pasta was the best we had on the whole trip- it was our first stop and could not be topped.

07/12/2024: Restaurant located in one of the squares of Orvieto, courteous staff, very nice place, good food but a point of merit goes to the vegetables, all strictly fresh taken from the market, which stand out from the usual frozen and chopped vegetables found in other restaurants.

16/12/2024: Excellent restaurant, although relatively expensive but worth every euro. Excellent service, great atmosphere, must mention the excellent desserts, lavender crème brûlée, classic tiramisu and the star of the meal, the best lemon cake we've ever eaten in our lives.

22/10/2024: Tried it for the first time for dinner, with the family, December 2018. Returned several times, with extreme frequency, the last time for dinner, September 2024. Substantial confirmation of excellent quality constant over time. Menu with a clear and coherent common thread: seafood cuisine strongly rooted in a land without sea. So fish, shellfish and seafood combined with flavors and ingredients from the land, Umbria in particular: truffles, cheeses, mushrooms, beer, vegetables. With unusual but never gratuitous combinations. The appetizers are excellent, in particular the raw fish, which can be combined as desired, the first courses are very good, rigatoni, prawns and truffles are a special mention, second courses according to the availability of fresh fish on the market. Big fry. The desserts are excellent and sometimes curious. The wine list is up to par. Nice place in the heart of the historic center and the nightlife of Terni, correct and accurate service, with meticulous narration of the dishes, decidedly reasonable bill when compared to the meal. To try and try again, to my taste. Reservations required, always full.

20/10/2024: Without a doubt, my favorite restaurant in the city. I have eaten there several times now and in each of them I have been more than satisfied (so much so that I always recommend it to anyone)! The service is commendable: the customer is pampered with features, included in the cover price, that are difficult to find elsewhere. But in any case, in general, the quality-price ratio is truly exceptional: excellent raw materials, cooked to perfection, at more than affordable costs. The menu, constantly changing, conveys the passion that exists in the kitchen and in the dining room. The place is essential and elegant. I can't find a flaw.... Never change!!!

21/12/2024: A truly super country house, the service is suitable for the level, the food is excellent and the environment is truly super, the greenery that surrounds it immerses you in nature and in the right quiet to spend a truly regenerating period. The well-kept swimming pool is the icing on the cake. Well done.

15/12/2024: Let me start by saying that we came last year in the summer and it was a completely different service, it was certainly not Sunday, so less crowds and more attention, and above all a liveable environment unlike today, a COLD place to say the least, with 10 degrees outside so needless to say there was snow. We ate on the run to try to digest. Menu at €55 must be made for the whole table and above all you must choose the same 4 dishes for the whole table, something that was not mentioned last year, in fact I came back for this very reason. However, I'll make it short for 3 of which the little girl ate only one first course and with a glass of wine, €158 seems a bit excessive to me, given that we left hungry given the ridiculous portions. Tagliata €25 of 150 grams, first courses that you can't even taste and desserts as well. I don't doubt the quality but at this price to eat well you have to spend €100 per person and NOT stay IN THE COLD!!! Never again!!! It's a shame because the cuisine deserves it, the chef should perhaps increase the portions and the room should somehow heat the rooms more! I forgot, they work shifts, so either you go by 12.30pm maximum or after 2pm, in short, at this price, there is better!!!

08/11/2024: Un’esperienza culinaria fantastica alla Locanda del Capitano! Ogni piatto era una scoperta di sapori autentici e raffinati, curato nei dettagli e presentato in modo eccellente. Lo chef, Giancarlo Politi ha saputo accompagnarci in questo viaggio di sapori di bosco con un suggerimento di vino perfetto per esaltare ogni portata, dimostrando grande competenza e passione. Un ristorante che trasmette amore per la cucina e per l'ospitalità. Consigliatissimo per chi cerca una vera esperienza gourmet, sentendosi come a casa! Posto incantevole Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo!
