27/06/2025: The two of us ate at this restaurant. It was the best meal I've had in Sardinia! Very friendly and competent staff and incredibly good food. Everything was perfect! Worth at least a visit, if not a must.

23/05/2025: Excellent vegan place. We were looking for a place that gave us traditional food and this was it, we tried the malloredus, the parmeggiana, and the culurgiones. Deliciuos, excellent flavor, good portions. The server was very nice and friendly.

01/06/2025: What a wonderful restaurant. Every aspect was top top top, the food was amazing, the wine recommendations were both terrific value and delicious!! And to top it all off, the service was the best I've had in a restaurant in a long time (and I go to a lot of restaurants) From the gracious expert advice of the owner to the wait staff. We couldn't have asked for a better meal experience. Grazie infinite 🤩

01/06/2025: An outstanding restaurant run by Ambrogio. He and his team are very quality-conscious, serving excellent cuisine with great finesse. Certainly one of the best restaurants in the Castelsardo region. I've been here several times and will continue to visit Il Cormorano many more times.

09/06/2025: Two gin and tonics with a platter of cold cuts, 50 euros. The place is nice, the staff is kind but, to me, 50 euros seems a bit too much.

08/06/2025: During our two-day stay in Cagliari, we visited this place three times—once for breakfast and twice for aperitivo. For breakfast, we absolutely loved the croissants and especially the pancakes with sweet mascarpone—they were unforgettable (I even asked for the recipe for the mascarpone cream 🫢). We came back twice in the evenings for aperitivo, enjoying fantastic cocktails like the Rosa Natural and Mojito Passion.

23/06/2025: I have been going to the brewery for years and it is a certainty. It is true that the menu does not reserve surprises, but there are indeed some dishes that are a treat and that are nice to find, such as the brewer's stew, tender meat immersed in a rich sauce. The beers are excellent and suitable for all tastes, the staff is friendly. Only criticism... if you cannot drink alcohol the choice is limited to a few drinks... it would be nice, given the attention to the needs of veg customers, to also have some alcohol-free alternatives, perhaps some beers even from external brands and some cocktails.

05/06/2025: Dinner with friends, We enjoyed excellent Vibo accompanied by super good beers produced by them. I really appreciated the "Genneruxi" a super Ipa. Thanks for the kind and professional welcome!

22/06/2025: Small inaccuracies with the order (missing scampi and wrong dish), but the staff was kind and fixed everything right away, among other things without charging us for the dish that they promptly remedied, even if it was fine with us anyway. Courteous and attentive service. Positive experience, 5 stars.

21/06/2025: This restaurant is all about how things look and that’s about it. The restaurant itself is lovely and the chef plates food beautifully. However, I would not go back or recommend it to anyone. The service was severely lacking and so was the food. We waited an hour to be seated, greeted by our waiter and to finally have olive oil and bread on the table. Thankfully the thoughtful hostess helped us order some drinks before we sat down. Our waiter was kind of arrogant and rarely came to check on us to see how the food was or whether we needed anything. At the very end of the meal after waiting a long time for our check, he decided to give us a free digestive; which was nice, but it didn’t make up for 2 1/2 hours of bad service. Foodwise, we ordered the waygu carpaccio and grilled octopus for appetizer. The grilled octopus itself was good, but it had a creamy potato sauce that was very bland and required a lot of salt and pepper to be decent. The waygu carpaccio was mushy and tasteless so we couldn’t finish it. I ordered the boiled lobster, which was served cold with cold, non-flavorful veggies. It was a small spiny lobster (no claws) and I should have asked the market price up front because it was $115. My daughter had the gnocchi chjusoni galluresi, which was okay but it was a small serving with very little meat in it. My son had the beef filet, which was tasty and cooked perfectly- the clear winner out of all our dishes. There are many great restaurants in the area, so there is no need to break the bank for a mediocre meal.

08/06/2025: We ordered a delicious tasting menu of fish, octopus, and seafood. We also ordered fried whitebait, which is the one pictured, and two different pastas: seafood carbonara and a classic almenas (breadcrumbs), both excellent. The service was excellent, and the wine was 10/10. A quiet spot facing the port, highly recommended.

07/06/2025: Excellent typical dishes, excellent service and competent waiter. You can eat inside or outside in a pedestrian street. Recommended.

02/06/2025: The seafood appetizers are excellent, the fregola with clams and bottarga is good, and the sweet filindeu is very good. A nice place, it feels like being in a cellar.

04/04/2025: A medieval experience not to be missed! I went to this restaurant and was thrilled with it. The atmosphere is unique: stone walls, medieval decorations with attention to the smallest details and soft lighting that makes everything even more evocative. The food is simply delicious, with dishes prepared with quality ingredients and particular attention to presentation. The staff is highly trained, helpful and always kind, ready to recommend the best of the menu. A detail that particularly struck me was the bathroom, a real highlight. Here, toothpaste, deodorant, hand cream and many other useful products are available to customers that make anyone feel at ease, like at home. A restaurant that I highly recommend to everyone, both for the quality of the food and the attention to the customer. Congratulations to the staff for the excellent service! I will definitely go back.

23/03/2025: Excellent experience, delicious food and welcoming staff. Good value for money. The bathroom was spotless and had soap, wipes and sanitary napkins available. Super recommended!

27/05/2025: Beautiful and functional rooms, newly renovated bathroom. The restaurant boasts an excellent menu (the chef knows his stuff!). Beautiful view of the historic center. We visited them by motorbike, they have a small internal parking lot. In the morning we woke up to the excellent smell of homemade donut. Pleasant and varied breakfast. We will never be grateful enough for the help they gave us! We had a broken down motorbike and they granted us a late check-out to allow us to fix it. They also lent us equipment that was essential for the repair!!! Honestly, Orosei has never been an overnight stop on our motorbike tours but thanks to this hotel restaurant from now on it will be taken into consideration as a fixed stop!

23/05/2025: We visited this restaurant at lunchtime. Pizza is only available in the evening. The ambiance is inviting, and the food is absolutely fantastic. If you need gluten-free dishes and are looking for something special, this is the place for you. Gluten-free bread, gluten-free pasta, and in the evening, gluten-free pizza (no ready-made dough). Extreme care is taken to ensure contamination-free food. Everything is prepared super fresh. The service is also great.
